Otter Hill a 176 pieds de façade sur le lac Yellow Birch, qui fait partie de la chaĂźne des 28 lacs Ă Eagle River! Profitez de la pĂȘche depuis le quai!
The house was just perfect for the family. We had the best view of the lake no matter where you were in the house. The location was close enough to the store for anything we had forgotten. The fishing was good even off the pier. It was a short walk to the sandy beach which was very nice! The kids just loved the beach! The eagles were flying and it was a beautiful sight. We would stay there again!
The house was great for our group of 8 on a snowmobile trip. Two kitchens, a bar, and two living rooms made it very comfortable. The house was also super clean and well stocked. Lots of room for trailers too!
We had a great stay. The house has a lot of space. It was nice that everyone was able to have their own bedroom. It worked well for our snowmobile trip.
What could be better than a week on the Eagle River chain?! Three generations of family and this home suited us all. Space for everyone to spread out when desired, and multiple areas that could accommodate a big group at once. Comfortable beds. Having two kitchens was nice. Steep hill down to the water but stairs in very good repair and even the littles did fine.
We stayed at this property for a fishing tournament with 19 people and it was very comfortable and had easy access to the lakes. Lots of room to spread out and do things in groups such as eucher at one table, yatzee at another while some watched different movies in each living room. Owners were excellent to work with and very accommodating to our groups needs.
The house was very nice. Clean with plenty room for everyone. plenty of dishes and having a dishwasher was great. Being close to town was a plus. Fishing wasn't good and the Eagle Chain is a very recreational area. We were not able to swim on the property because the weeds had grown in, but a beautiful beach was within walking distance. Overall, a very nice property.
The house was amazing! Lots of space for everyone to spread out. The two kitchens were great for cooking meals. We enjoyed kayaking, and we rented a boat for fish ,tubing, and cruising around the beautiful lakes. We enjoyed lunches at restaurants on the lake a few times, and the Ice cream at the Pirates Hideaway was delicious!
The property is also located near a very clean public beach, which is a short walk from the house. Plenty of things indoors and out to keep a large group of 8 adults and 8 kids happy.
Also Joe was a great host. He was easy to reach and gave us a tip to rent the boat early to be sure we were able to get it.
Joe was a pleasure to deal with, instigating numerous discussions prior to arrival to make sure everything was in order. Upon arrival the property was better than advertised. Slept 12 comfortably as we all had our own beds....no couches or futons. The house was furnished tastefully and included numerous WORKING televisions. The 4 seasons room was spacious and comfortable, the firepit inviting and a dock that was first class. The house has a beautiful woodsy setting yet only several minutes from town making quick trips for provisions a piece of cake. 12 grade " A" from all of us. Thanks Joe.
The property was clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We had 14 people in our group and there was more than enough room for everyone: with plenty of parking space for our 6 cars. Played cards in the nice bar area downstairs. In the evenings we sat outside on the patio. Every day the deer would pay us a visit and the kids would feed them corn chips right out of their hands, which made me nervous because they are wild animals. Fishing was good, even caught some keepers off the pier. The weather was beautiful, we went miniature golfing, boat rides, fishing, took a walk-through town and even went to the County Fair. We had a great time and made many memories!
Our large group truly enjoyed our stay here as the house was large enough to accommodate our group. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed including 3 refrigerators , 2 kitchens, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The owner Joe was great to work with and easily communicated prior to arrival and during our stay. Highly recommend this property for large groups.
There is so much space that the family could really spread out. The cabin was very clean and had all that we needed. The beach was close by and it included a playground. The littles really enjoyed going to Eagle River too - the Children's Museum, the Petting Zoo and the Pirate Ship cruise were all a hit. Nightly campfires were enjoyed by all. Thank you, Joe!
Cabin was very spacious and amply accommodated our group. Multiple refrigerators were handy. The porch was an attraction and offered a birdâs eye scenic view and a family fun area. Use of the attached garage and a large parking area was useful for turning around and parking the boat. Overall a really nice place to stay.
To start with we had 6 adults and 8 children, more than enough room and then some. House has a nice layout, didnât even get to use it all. Plenty of parking for our 3 trucks and 4 place trailers, could easily park another and possibly room enough for 5 trucks with trailers.
All 3 families enjoyed it, and hope to use again.
Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Otter Hill. Convenient location just outside of town while still feeling like a private up north cabin. We had 12 in our group ranging from mid-teen to adult and the rental offered something for everyone. Definitely more than enough space for the group. Beds were comfortable and all rooms had a fan in them. The entire house is well stocked with all essentials and also clean as can be. Otter Hill(and Eagle River) kept us busy for the week including memories of: pontoon rental on the chain, tubing, fishing, campfires, swimming at the beach down the road, kayaking, puzzles, cribbage, golfing, bowling and much more. The many steps down to the lake gave us a good workout. Overall we were very impressed with Otter Hill and would gladly rent again.
The three season room overlooks Yellow Birch Lake and it's where we spent most of our time. The cabin has two full kitchens and they are well supplied with cooking equipment / utensils. The cabin is very warm and inviting; perfect for our family reunion!
This property was nothing short of perfect. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. My clients and I loved the basement area with a kitchen, bar, and big table. There was plenty of space 10 of us. One of the key features of the house is its close proximity to the town of Eagle River, 3 minutes from downtown. It made it easy to go to restaurants, access trails, and do some shopping. The lake access was also great. The property owners allowed us to use their kayaks, life vests, and paddles throughout our trip, which created some great memories. This UTV trip was one of the best client entertainment trips I've done. I highly recommend this property and look forward to making an annual trip to this awesome house! Thanks to the owners (Joe, Emily, BJ, and Vicki) for making booking and checking in a breeze.
