This home is in a prime location for going for walks, seeing the midcentury architecture, coffee in town, and a nice hike. We stayed for one month. Unfortunately, the home is in definite need of some love and care. We had issues with the water and luckily Jerry the manager was available to assist. The hot tub took over 2 hours to heat up. The towels and bedding were very worn (we went and bought our own towels at Costco). The kitchen utensils were limited, there were cracks in the outdoor tile and bathroom tile, ice maker didn't work, and more. The whole place would maybe be okay for a weekend but not set up for a longer term rental unfortunately. We did work out a resolution with the management company but we wouldn't rent again. It's too bad because the neighborhood is just fabulous! I suppose you get what you pay for because it's definitely below the rates of some of the other nearby properties.
The location and pool are amazing!! We had a great spring break trip. Views from the backyard canât be beat. The house looks pretty much as pictured online. Would definitely come back!
Great location in Vistas Las Palmas. Pool area and view are outstanding. Home needs updating but is accurately pictured/described in the listing. Good value compared to other options.
The nicest part was the pool. The house was in okay condition. The towels were old. Carpets were dirty. The house was older in general. I will not stay again. There wasnât anywhere to sit confortable. I think it was way overpriced for the condition of the house over all. You canât be loud or okay music (we are on vacation!) the beds were not comfortable. The house was way too hot at night and I could not sleep. The thermostat didnât go lower than 72. We stayed for 4 nights and I was ready to go back home by the 3rd night. Also, there is a ton or mosquitos. It just didnât have a âhoney warmâ vibe. I will not be staying here again.
House was close to town and in a very quiet but nice neighborhood. The outside pool and spa are incredible!! The backyard is very beautiful with a lemon tree and another citrus tree. The house had everything we needed and detailed instructions, recommendations, etc - very thorough. The no music rule in Palm Springs is serious and we didn't want to get the fine but there are lovely bird and water sounds (from the pool) so I didn't feel like we were missing music too badly. We loved our stay and want to come back.
Everyone loves their stay, perfect size and pool was great for big kids and little. 3 year old spent all day in the little wading area. Was also close to town and convenient
Our family had a great time at this property. The pool was fantastic and the perfect size for active kids to play in. The home was well-kept and very comfy. We enjoyed the mid-century modern aesthetic and layout, as well as the privacy and modern conveniences. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
The location was perfect and the property manager Jerry was great. He was very prompt with communication and was available anytime we needed him. About the property. At one point in time this house was probably great but the property needs some TLC. The good points: plenty of space inside, rooms were all a great size, nice living room that is open to the patio with sliding door. This was great with young children. Also the patio was great, you could sit under the shade all day and be right next to the pool. The not so good points: the A/C was uneven. Every space cooled nicely except the two bedrooms, they were hot and stuffy even into the night. The A/C didn't blow in those rooms properly for some reason. The screen door was ripped so mosquitoes came in the house, we all got bit (they will most likely fix this though). The hallway bathroom is really dated, needs an update. The garage door doesn't work when it's hot. You have to push it with your hand with is very cumbersome and it's HOT in the summer!
Overall this could be a really great place to stay but I feel like it really needs some updates. But again, Jerry was amazing so that was really nice!
We loved this property. We felt very secluded and relaxed. The property had everything we needed. Kitchen stocked with kitchen essentials, ample linens and towels, pool floats and lounge chairs. We look forward to visiting again!
After many months of Covid-19 cabin fever our family needed a few days of sunshine and pool fun. This classic Mid-Century home fit the bill perfectly! The property is very private, but also very close to downtown and within what I would consider a quiet and upscale neighborhood.
Management was very communicative and easy to deal with. We can't wait to come back!
House is well-equipped. Manager is excellent and responds quickly. A lovely walk to the downtown; great trails nearby for running/hiking; fun neighborhood for stroll. Neighborhood is super quietâperfect for an escape from hustle and bustle of life.
