La maison de roche est située sur 100 acres et a 3 chambres à coucher avec 2 bains. La maison venait juste d'être rénovée en août 2019. Le porche vous donnera une vue fantastique sur la nature.

Juste à l'extérieur du Parthénon, dans le magnifique comté de Newton, au cœur du pays de la rivière Buffalo. Les points d’accès pour les canoës et les randonnées sont rapidement accessibles en voiture. Jasper et Ponca sont facilement accessibles en voiture. Offre une vue spectaculaire à 180 degrés sur les montagnes, associée à la solitude tranquille de la rivière. accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes et pourtant est assez confortable pour un couple. We loved our stay at the Rock House! The home was clean and comfortable. John and his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river, both on the property and from a nearby public road and even provided us plenty of firewood. There were a lot of ticks by the river so I recommend bringing tick spray. I suspect it has to to with the time of year rather than location because this was not the only spot we picked them up and we've never had that issue when we've visited the area before. We highly recommend the Rock House and are hoping to get to stay there again on our next trip to Arkansas.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were wonderful. They made fire outside the fire pit during our stay and set it up for us. The river backside of the cabin was amazing. Strongly recommend this place.

A perfect getaway retreat

Amy and John are wonderful hosts and the Rock House was the perfect setting to come home to after sightseeing. It’s a little remote slice of heaven nestled between the mountains. Really didn’t want to leave.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay the view is breathtaking the stars at night and the private watering hole is a plus close to hiking trails and just a all around great place to make memories!!

Magical Getaway!

What an absolute gem of a property! The house was incredibly clean and cozy. We enjoyed time around the fire, swims in the river, and all the local trails. John the property owner was so kind and wanted to make sure we had a perfect stay. We loved it so much, we have already booked for next year!

Relaxing stay with beautiful property to explore

We loved our stay here. This was the perfect house to stay in to access hiking and off-road trails. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We also loved walking the property and exploring the river that is within a 10 minute walk from the house.

Lovely place to stay

We wanted a quiet place to stay while enjoying some hiking in the Ozarks and this place delivered. It was just my wife and me, but there is adequate space for six, maybe seven. The house was pristine nicely appointed. The location gave us easy and quick access to theJasper and Ponca areas. The owner was a great communicator and checked to be sure we were happy and all our needs were met. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful stay

Property was beautiful. House was clean, well equipped. We were there for the eclipse. Nice open space and weather was perfect. We walked to the river and explored. Also hiked in the surrounding area.

Above and Beyond!

Our whole experience with Amy and John was amazing and hospitable beyond our expectations. We had mentioned wanting to do a fire one night for our boys (3,6,9) and Mr. John had it all setup for us and all we had to do was light a match. I’ve never had such kind and courteous hosts in all my years of VRBO. You are close enough to Jasper to get essentials but far enough away to not even notice it. We spent 3 nights at the Rock House and loved spending our Thanksgiving there!

Would Stay Again

Amy (mgr) and John (owner) were both great and answered any questions we had. Loved the history of the area and the location was perfect for us going back and forth from Jasper and Ponca, and to other sites in the area. House itself gave us plenty of room and was well stocked. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic property with stunning views

Our family loved soaking up the views and solitude at the rock house property. The communication with the host was easy and the owner even dropped by to make sure all was ok. Our kids can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely perfect! Easy check in . Super helpful and friendly owners. Everything we came to do at our fingertips...The property is so peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. Creek on property offers fishing. Swimming hole few minutes away stunning. Cant wait to go back!!

In the heart of the Ozarks

The Rock House was a great base for our weekend of hiking. The kitchen is well equipped. Since we had 2 couples, it was great to have two full baths. The beds were comfortable. Close to stores/restaurants in Jasper, and an easy drive to great hiking.

Peaceful, Beautiful Vista, Great Hosts

This property was lovey, well equipped, exceptionally clean. The location was near a road but that was the front of the house, the vista out the back, the river access and firepit were all more than wonderful. Our host was very accommodating and responded above and beyond to our needs. We had a great time and would highly suggest this to anyone wanting to get out of town and closer to nature.

Peaceful Retreat

Loved our stay. The country rock house was charming with modern amenities. Was wonderful getting away from the hectic city to the laid back atmosphere of the country. What a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed wading and fishing in the river on the lower end of the property and sitting outside viewing the stars. Plenty of sites nearby to visit which we definitely did. John, the owner, made us feel like we were part of the family. Really enjoyed visiting with him. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back. :-)
