Our cabins are nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains on Scenic Highway 7 near the quaint town of Jasper. We join the Ozark National Forest and the Buffalo River is less than 3 miles away.
Our cabins are located 10 minutes from the Erbie Campground/River Access and roughly 20 minutes from Ponca's River Outfitters.
Please bear with us as we are slowly but surely making changes and upgrades to this cabin!
The Arkansan is a two story cabin with loft located on a 5 acre property that sits a second cabin, a store front and an apartment above the store. Guests have privacy and access to their own cabin. Please note that the bathroom in this cabin is located through the downstairs bedroom.
We had a nice stay in the Arkansas. The kids enjoyed making s'mores on the fire pit and playing games in the evening. They also loved the chalkboard wall. The cabin was nicely stocked with all the essentials. I loves how it had
We enjoyed our stay! The fresh mountain air was a nice change of pace from the city. Relaxing and peaceful. The cabin was charming and comfortable. Thank you to Leanna, she was a great host!
This was exactly what I was looking for! Not too gar from downtown, but still with the "cabin away from everything" feeling. There were a decent amount of camel crickets and spiders inside upon checking in (mostly in the bathroom and bottom floor bedroom) which took me a little while to capture and put outside, but otherwise everything was ship shape. Thank you kindly for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!
Our stay here was amazing. The location is quiet, but close to everything you need. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, cleaning up, and staying warm and cozy! The outside is set up perfectly for a fire on the back porch or star gazing in the front lawn. Communication was wonderful, and overall it was perfect. This will definitely be our go to when we are in town!
Interesting property with unique characteristics. . Although dark and a little musty, the property was clean and nicely stocked. The location worked well for our outdoor activities and the owner was great to work with!
Great cabin, centrally located to the Buffalo National River, Ozark National Forest, numerous outfitters, and Jasper, AR. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to questions.
The place was immaculately clean, comfortable, and cozy -- a perfect base of operation for swimming, floating, and hiking in the Jasper/Pruitt/Ponca area.
Our family stayed here a couple nights so we could float the Buffalo River. Our stay was perfect. This cabin is incredible. The decor is modern yet cozy. There is a chalkboard wall to mark your stay too that is fun. The outdoor areas are great. We used the black stone to cook one night and we did sâmores also. The host was also great with any questions or requests I had.
We stayed for 2 nights and was just perfect for our short stay! My daughter befriended the black cat that hangs around, which was the highlight of her stay.
This was such a cute and quaint/cozy cabin; just perfect for the 3 adults in our group! It was thunderstorming as we arrived and very easy to get in quickly, easy to park and unload closer to the back door. Had everything we needed to cook. Plenty of warm water for all of our showers and extremely comfy beds! Wish we had more time there!! Thank you!
My husband and I loved staying here. We brought our 3 month old with us. It was the perfect size and space for a much needed retreat from our busy lives.
It was an amazing stay very clean and tidy only issue was the flue for the fire place I believe need to be cleaned it didnât pull the smoke out of the fire place. Other than that no problems at all we loved it
We book a trip to the Jasper area at least 2/year for a hiking trip getaway and this was our first at the Arkansan and we will be back. It was an amazingly convenient location and the cabin was gorgeous, cozy, and immaculate. Leanna was a great host, answered questions quickly and kept us informed about local restaurants. We look forward to our next trip.
We are the new owners of this property as of a couple of months ago! Built in 1986 this property contains a storefront and two cabins on a unique piece of property. We are slowly but surely putting our spin on the place and are enjoying every minute of being able to do so.
