We drove in from Newcastle and found the house to be perfect for our needs. Comfortable with everything we needed and the grocery store within walking distance. Caroline was so easy to communicate with and extremely agreeable. Will definitely want to to stay there again!
The home is cozy and was well equipped for our needs. We loved the views from the windows and the fenced yard for our pup. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to the supervalu, restaurants and a lovely children's park. The working fireplace was also a favorite at the end of the day. There was a minor misunderstanding with getting the hot water going but Caroline communicated promptly and all was made clear and working. I would stay here again and would recommend the property to friends.
Overall, a good place to stay. A few minor issues. Back lawn needs to be mowed. Lined curtains or blackout blinds needed as front of house gets v bright early in the morning.
Easy check-in, convenient location for walking into nearby village and short drive from gorgeous Streedagh Beach and Benbulben, as well as being close to Sligo, Mullaghmore Beach, Glencar Waterfall, Bundoran and Rossnowlagh. We even made it out to Strandhill, Rosses Point and Easky!
Fantastic property in an ideal location, very clean home away from home, highly recommend it, selection of dvdâs was a great option on a rainy day, will definitely be back
We rent this property for 3 nights. Caroline is a very good host. She answered on all our questions. Location is great. A view from bedroom is absolutely amazing. The ony thing that could be better is cleanliness. Kitchen utensils were very sticky. Except that everything was great.
It's a nice house. Needs some maintenance. Internet is mentioned on the homeawaysite and was for our group very important. But no internet. We talked to the neighbours about that. They said they had heard more complains from other guests. I don't know if it's a delibrate mistake on the part of the landlord, maybe not, but the mentioning of internet shoud be removed of the Homeawaysite. I tried to communicate with the landlord over this, asked for a compensation in costs (we had to rent another house) but I was called rude. I'm not a complainer, booked a lot of houses over the years and never had anything to complain about.
Had a very nice time in Grange. Lovely holiday home and lovely area.carolinevwas so good .we stayed in her house for 3 weeks..due to flooding in our house. Everything u want is there and neighborhood so safe . Moran's pub and Lang restaurant really nice. Super value and great takeaway. Streedagh beach ..5 my n from house. Thanks đ again. Really had a time considering all we were going through ,
The house was an ideal spot, handy for the local shops and bars/restaurants. The large enclosed garden to the rear of the property was ideal for our dogs to run and play in.
The standard of equipment was high and the accommodation very comfortable.
Our only criticism relates to the cleanliness of some of the kitchen equipment, in particular the oven and the hob.
We loved our stay at Grange. The house was very spacious and in a quiet location. Ideally situated for nearby beautiful beaches at Streedagh and Mullaghmore. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the house, situated on a friendly, quiet estate. All the rooms were clean and tidy, and everything for our stay was provided. When we werenât looking at the stunning view of Benbulben, there were books and DVDs to entertain us, as well as a huge number of TV channels to choose from.
Caroline describes the property as a home from home, and that is how it felt. It was always a pleasure to come back to after our explorations of the area, on foot or by car. We walked to Streedagh Beach, and had longer days out, particularly enjoying visits to Drumcliff Church, Lissadell House, Glencar Waterfall, Belleek Pottery, and Donegal Town.
Overall, we loved our visit staying in this house in the friendly village of Grange. County Sligo was a new discovery for us, and we hope to return soon â especially if the weather is as good again â sunshine all week!
The property was spacious, big kitchen & utility, well equipped, plenty of seating, could maybe have done with table and chairs in the garden. Locally there was a good supermarket, church was close by and Moran's bar just down the road was ok. However I can't make the same comments about the nearby Lang's restaurant, once some of the regulars in the bar realised we were English, the conversation became decidedly unpleasant and we left after one drink.
Well what can I say beautiful house in a fantastic location! The house has absolutely everything you need very comfortable, clean and spacious. My kids were a bit miffed about not having wi-fi. Perfect location only a short drive to Sligo city and Bundoran.
Thank you Caroline đ
This property is in a beautiful setting facing Ben Bulben. Close enough to essentials, so no need to go into Sligo if you don't want to. The property is relatively new so fully central heated. In a cul de sac so no need to worry about traffic or speeding cars. Close to the beach
