We stayed in the best place for us the elderly 78 and 75, the adults 56, 40 and 37 and of course kiddos 15, 10 and 6. The rooms were very spacious to accommodate all of us. We fished, rode horses, drove go carts and of course we visited the Viet Nam Memorial. We saw deer from our porch. The weather was great. We love the mountains and this was the perfect spot!!
Great property for the whole family with our dog. Location is perfect being close to Angel Fire and Red River. Nothing fancy just plenty of room to spread out!
Great overall place to stay. Loved the remote location. A little far from Taos Ski Valley but next time we will plan accordingly to make it to the slopes earlier. Very close to Angle Fire Skiing though. Would stay again!
The house was great, easy to find right off the main free way close to town and shopping. we enjoined the stay and plan on booking again next year for our family. thank you.
This house was very easy to get to and had tons of room !! It was nice having 3 full bathrooms since we had 10 adults!!
We skied Red River but didnât mind the drive every day !!
Loved that it was pet friendly!!!!!
We had an easy time with our booking. Barb answered all of our questions promptly. Our stay was lots of fun. We wished we had more snow for our grandkids to play in but we made the best of what Mother Nature dealt us!
Great location. House is very roomy. Everyone had their own rooms. We had plenty of privacy. We enjoyed our stay. The house is very well stocked. Lots of pots and pans and lots of accessories. We would definitely go back.
I organized a family ski trip and found this rental that a was perfect for a larger party. Barb was great in communication with me, I didn't have a whole lot of questions or concerns but she was available if I did. The place was outfitted with anything we could have needed and stuff we didn't even think about. We had a great time at the slopes at Angel Fire and a Great time hanging out with nieces and nephews at the cabin. Would definitely stay here again!
The home was a fun, spacious and a very comfortable cabin located in close proximity to the Angel Fire resort and ski/ recreation area. The beds were quite comfortable, the bathrooms clean and a few extras in the kitchen if you forget dry goods for preparing a meal. Appreciated the keyless entry, but admittedly it often was a struggle to lock the door when leaving the cabin. During heavy snowfall renters should have four-wheel vehicle to get up the dirt/ muddy driveway.
The house is everything and then some. We had so much space my girls had spaces to themselves. We didnât even use the bunk room. The back of the house gave the kids plenty of area to play in the snow. Kitchen was great for our meals. I personally liked that each area had its own heat to control
Vs the whole house. We would definitely vacation here again.
This is one absolutely beautiful property. The house is very spacious, has room enough for everyone to spread out. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly think of needing. The house was pretty clean, we did find a pair of underwear under the bed in the master and a sock under the bed in the loft, thank goodness they weren't stinky. Barb was a great host, she was very easy to get a hold of when we got lost and locked ourselves out. It's very convenient of a drive into Angel Fire and Eagle Nest. If you decide to stay in the winter, make sure to get a running start if you don't have 4x4 to get up the driveway. Thank you Barb for allowing us to stay in your home, we really enjoyed it, the views are gorgeous and your decor is magnificent.
I rented this property for a trip with my daughter-in-law and two friends. The property is spacious, so we were able to spread out easily. We really enjoyed gathering in the large kitchen/dining area to plan our adventures and discuss highlights at the end of each day. Using 114 Onate as our home base, we drove to hike the Clear Creek Trail in Cimarron Canyon, Big Arsenic Trail in the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument, and the Middle Fork Lake Trail near Red River. Our final day included a trip to Chimayo, followed by shopping in Taos. It was wonderful to have a spacious âhomeâ to return to each day, relax and rest for the next adventure!
We had such a wonderful time attending a wedding in Taos. Part of the reason was the property we stayed at. The house was clean and in a beautiful location. We hope to go back and rent the same property to just enjoy the wild life and the surrounding area.
