This was a very comfortable mountain cabin- very clean. It is located on a mountain, private and quiet. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. It was so nice to be able to relax on the couch or in a rocking chair with the warmth of the fire. I would definitely stay here again.
Cabin was excellent, very clean & accommodating. The kitchen was very well stocked w/ everything needed. There was an abundance of light switches, we didnât figure out where all of them went to but no big deal. We had a great stay, overall A
Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable! Just what we needed! The cabin was just as beautiful as pictured and well maintained. The host was very friendly and had excellent communication skills. She provided all the necessary information in a timely manner prior to our arrival. We would definitely book this cabin again in the future and would highly recommend to others!
Finding the cabin was a bit tricky, but once we arrived we were very pleased. It's beautiful, with splendid views of the mountains. Inside, the cabin is fully stocked with all kitchen furnishings and appliances, plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery, and cookware. The fireplace turns on with a simple switch, very convenient for those cold nights (it dropped to the 20s while we were there). The full sized washer and dryer are a life saver and allowed to pack much lighter. The bedrooms are decent sized and the beds are very comfortable. The TV offers streaming so you can log in to your own accounts and watch your favorite shows! A few recommendations (especially if you're a group staying for an extended period of time): bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. You're only provided with one extra of each.Worth the book!
Love this property! We visit every year and will continue to do so. The location is very convenient to local attractions. The property is well- maintained and clean. The kitchen has everythng you need! Can't wait to come back next year!
Excellent property, fantastic location. this property is located off in the trees and if you enjoy listening to the birds, watching the clouds and seeing the leaves shake, this property is for you. You will sleep great!
My husband, myself, and our 4 teenage daughters stayed here. When I was deciding where we should stay, I wanted to find some place where we could get in as much as possible. This was it. We went to Hiawassee, Helen, South Carolina, and North Carolina and never had to travel more than an hour. We were first time travelers doing something like this. Therefore we packed like we were staying in a hotel instead of packing like we were staying at house that had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. 2 full bathrooms is a must for us and we had enough hot water for the 4 teenage girls to shower right in a row, which is better than we have at home. The fridge has an ice maker which was helpful. We all enjoyed watching the sunrise from the porch. Everytime we went up or down the mountain we saw something we had seen before. We saw deer, female wild turkey, and these cute little black and white birds. We did the Tennessee Rock trail and Ada-Hi Falls in Black Rock Mountain and stayed for the sunset for our last night. Everything was perfect and the girls loved how every time we went a different place they got to see something new.
Lovely and comfortable getaway. Gorgeous porch. I will definitely be back. Plan to use your mobile hotspot as the wifi isn't great, but don't let that stop you from this wonderful home.
Nicely kept, clean cabin with comfortable beds and everything you need. The porch is a great place to enjoy your sundowners with some mountain viewâs on the rocking chairs. Watch the rain and just relax! We really enjoyed the nearby Foxfire museum and Black Mountain park.
The cabin was very nice and clean. It was exactly what we was looking for in a secluded area away from the everything and still just a short trip to Black Rock Mountain State Park, Fox Fire Museum and other nice places to visit. We would definitely stay there again.
Florida family that has been traveling to the mountains for the last 30 years. We enjoy all the memories we have made over the years and decided that we wanted a cabin of our own. We are excited to share our little piece of the mountains with others who will make their own family memories.
We fell in love with this property the minute we walked inside. It is cozy and inviting from the moment you step inside the front door. It just felt like home. We loved having the state park adjacent to the property and the sound of the creek from the back porch.
