Que vous recherchiez repos et détente ou activités et aventure, notre maison vous offre tout ce que vous recherchez et plus encore! Notre maison de 1 800 pieds carrés, construite en 2002, offre un salon / salle à manger / cuisine à aire ouverte avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes, et a été méticuleusement entretenue. Plus de 80 'de façade sur le lac vous attend! Profitez d'un verre de vin depuis notre spacieuse terrasse Trex tout en regardant le coucher du soleil, ou admirez le lever du soleil au bord du lac avec une tasse de café. Prenez un de nos kayaks sur 3 min. montez sur les dunes de sable et aménagez-vous sur une plage privée. Lancez une ligne au bout de notre quai privé et attrapez le doré, l'achigan, le grand brochet, les branchies bleues et le crappie noir. Le lac Silver est réputé pour son eau claire, son fond sablonneux et ses dunes de sable de 2 000 acres, qui sont idéalement situées juste à côté de notre maison. Nous avons tout le confort et les commodités de la maison car notre maison est équipée d'un tout nouveau lave-vaisselle, laveuse / sécheuse, gril, télévision et linge de lit.

Great Family Vacation Spot!

Family had a great experience at this property. The house was clean and comfortable, and host was quick to respond to any questions. The outdoor space was excellent with a big deck, sandy beach, waterfront, and dock along with a closet full of sand toys. This is our second stay at the property and certainly will not be our last!

Amazing Rental!

Had the best time at this house! Matt was a fantastic host and very responsive. The house is very clean and in the best location. Everything you need for a perfect beach day is available. Also the pack and play and toys for the kids were amazing.

Fun at Silver Lake

We really enjoy this cottage at Silver Lake. Everything was perfect for our family. VRBO and our host was great. Love the cottage and check in and out was very easy. Hope to stay yearly. Thank you.

Relaxing Trip

Stayed for 5 days during Christmas at this location, very quiet and peaceful with serene outdoors. Can walk on the beach or explore dunes. The house is well maintained and fully stocked, including things for toddlers . Will return someday.

GREAT BEACH VACATION

My family and I stayed here for a week this summer and it was wonderful. The house was clean, and FULLY stocked with everything you could need. Just like you can see in the pictures the sand was very clean and the water at the dock was perfect for little kids to play in. Zero seaweed. With the house so close to the dunes you can walk to them by the water in less than a minute. We had the best time staying here. You can also get to the beach at Lake Michigan in less than 10 minutes. It was by far our best trip to Silver Lake because of this house.

Life is a beach !!!!

Check out the front yard, nothing but beach,...one can get use to this,....quick I might add. Top notch accommodations, close to the dunes, beach and water, what more do I need to say. Except we will be back for more.

Amazing Lake House

The home is amazing. With lakefront access, and close proximity to dune and water sports, this was the perfect house. The owner was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. The home is warm and inviting and so easy to “chill” by the lake, play bags in the sand, hang out by the lake, or take a dip off the new dock. Highly recommended by our family, perfectly located next to the dunes with phenomenal neighbors, it is the very best.

A Piece Of Paradise

We loved everything about this property. The home was so clean it looked new and it smelled nice. The open floor plan on the main floor with all the windows to look at the lake and dunes was spectacular! The 2 bedrooms upstairs have a great view as well! The private beach with the sand right off the deck all the way to the lake was awesome! Nothing like having your toes in the sand! The house was stocked with everything we needed plus some and the location can't be better! The lake, the dunes, the State Parks, The Chicken Shack, lol, its all right there! We were sad when our week was over and didn't want to leave, but now we are looking forward until we can go back and enjoy it once again.

Duneside Paradise!

This cottage and its location were absolutely perfect for our 3-generation family get away. I have vacationed at Silver Lake since I was a child in the 1960’s, then our children fell in love with it in the 1980’s, now our grandchildren have experienced the wonder of it since 2015. This cottage is by far THE BEST of all the ones I have stayed in. It’s right next to the dunes with a small cove for swimming and kayaking just in front of cottage, there’s a large sandy expanse between deck and water. The cottage was spacious, clean and well designed. Matt was great to do business with, policies were clearly communicated, essentials were all provided. 5 stars!

Scenic Views, Lovely Home

Property is beautiful! Home was clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of outdoor activities such as floats, sand toys, kayaks, bonfire ring, etc. Only real downside is if the surrounding properties are rented out it is busy, with no privacy and parking is very tight (like climbing through the back of the Tahoe to get in the drivers seat tight). We brought 3 larger vehicles and a boat which we cleared with the owner, but the individuals of the other properties expressed annoyance about the boat, which we all decided we definitely would not bring again. Communication with owner was excellent, he was very responsive, helpful, and kind.

Perfect lake view!

Had a great family vacation here. The house is well equipped and most importantly very clean. We cooked in several nights since we had an 11 month old. The pots and pans etc were in excellent condition. The view of the lake can not be beat and can be enjoyed from the living area and kitchen as well as from the large deck. Adirondack chairs (not cheap plastic ones) were comfortable and perfect for enjoying the fire pit. Kayaks were great for enjoying the lake. There were a couple houses that were directly beside and behind us. Had they been filled with people it would have felt a little too close for our taste. There is a 150 foot sand dune a few houses from this property. Overall this is a great place for a lakeside getaway.

Family Vacation on Silver Lake

Fantastic property. It's even better in person! Our family had a wonderful week. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Bath towels were fluffly. Plenty of amenities. And all in great shape. Nice pots and pans. Plenty of outdoor items. Great grill and utensils. Can't say enough good things about the accommodations. Host was always timely and offered details when we had a question. With the vast sand in front of us, we did not mind have neighbors close by. They were polite and friendly. We are a family with older children(youngest 17). No one was ever bored. It was so nice to spend quality time together doing simple things like playing corn hole, volleyball, going for walks, dinner around the table, walking right onto the dunes every evening in search of a sunset. We drove to Lake Michigan beach one time only to realize that the beach at the house was all we needed. The sand and water are so clean and there is no need to pack a bag. An evening fire on the beach is so relaxing with comfy Adirondack chairs. I really could go on and on.

The Waterfront

The location was excellent, stupendous, fanominal, nothing like the lake front, open the front door,...water, water, water. Plenty of gear for the water, all kinds of items. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, another bonus was the dunes access, right around the corner. A new standard has been set very high, and I have rented a lot of properties at Siler Lake. I didn't want to leave, the wife had to drag me out.

We had a wonderful time at Silver Lake in our VRBO. The cottage is very nice and well equipped for family fun. It is extremely comfortable . They have thought of everything needed to make the time there very pleasant. Thank you.

Amazing!

We’ve been to Silver Lake many times and finally booked this house. It was everything we had hoped for and more! The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of pillows, fans in bedrooms, fluffy towels, kitchen well equipped, great beach chairs, yard games etc etc. We enjoyed grilling and sitting on the patio eating dinner with the beautiful view. Plenty of room to toss the ball around or play cornhole in the sand. Teens loved sunbathing on the deck and jumping in the water. We had a question while we were there and Matt was able to get back to us right away. We hope to be back again!

Perfect Vacation Home

This place is nothing short of amazing! The house was well equipped with everything we needed! The location is prime for small children and enjoying the beach. We loved that we could walk right over to the dunes as well. We also didn’t mind taking a little walk to town as it was only a mile. We hope to vacation here again in the future!

Relaxing vacation

This vacation was one of our most relaxing ones. We were able to have great access to the Dunes, lake and large beach at our back patio. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows for the whole family. Child friendly! This house has everything a family needs. Plenty of games for the whole family. The only issue checking in was the neighbor renting beside us. She was rude and demanding that we couldn't park three cars next to each other. No fault of the owners. Parking is clearly marked in the manual on the counter. Silver scoops ice cream and foods is the top spot to go!! Price for rental was much higher than I have ever experienced but I might just do it again.

When we decided to begin searching for a lake house I looked at every home in the lower peninsula Michigan and nothing had what this house has. A beautiful beach on a beautiful lake with a home that has that "Northern Michigan" feel. The fact that the world renown Silver Lake Sand Dunes were a short walk away really sealed the deal.
