Friends & I stayed at Cedar Vista during our girls trip. It was wonderful. The views were so beautiful, especially enjoyable from the large covered porch during our morning coffee/tea. I would bet the sunset views are also gorgeous, but we weren’t back at the cabin by that time each night. We felt far enough out of town but were close enough for easy day/evening outings to Wimberley & San Marcos, which are fabulous locations with plenty to do and great food options. We’d come back to the cabin in the evenings to relax in the beautiful space. The furniture is comfortable and the tv is large. This property is also clean with no strong scents. I did use the washer and dryer, both front loading - usable at the same time. All appliances look new and the ones we used are working perfectly. Contact responds in a timely manner when contacted for any reason, from weeks before arrival through check out. I’m saving the information for this property for possible future stays!

Perfect respite

Cedar Vista has everything you can wish for and more if you’re looking for a respite place. Spectacular view and stellar details with the design of the log cabin and outdoor fire pit hot tub and grilling area. Looking forward to our next stay!!

Lovely place for some privacy!

Our family enjoyed our stay here very much. It's a beautifully-designed cabin with an amazing view. The hot tub was nice (even in the summer), and we could enjoy the porch until noon even in July, the breeze was so nice. The shower in the master bath was awesome. The wifi is solid enough to handle a Zoom call if you have to work while you're there. Thanks for a lovely stay!

70th Birthday Getaway!

We were needing a getaway from our busy life in Houston
.running a business & keeping up with 2 homes. Wimberley is always a perfect place to look for that tranquility & we definitely found it in Cedar Vista. The views, the sunsets, the amenities where perfect & we look forward to staying there again. We could not have had a better place to just chill out for my celebrating turning 70. We are a mother/daughters group that takes an extended weekend trip every year. Cedar Vista is in a beautiful location. The cabin had everything we needed. The firepit, hot tub, and barbecue area is spacious. The deck is large - perfect for some yoga practice with the sun going down. And the beds were very, very comfortable!! We highly recommend Cedar Vista.

Peaceful Hill Country getaway

We were enchanted with this lovely luxury cabin overlooking a beautiful Hill Country vista! We enjoyed the amenities and found the cabin clean and well appointed. We watched beautiful breezy sunsets from the back balcony and watching the stars from the jacuzzi. There are so many attractions nearby in Wimberley and San Marcos--we can't wait to stay at this property again and explore more of the area! Appreciated the great customer service from the property manager.

Beautiful and Peaceful

My wife and I stayed here for a much-needed relaxing getaway. We barely left the property for 4 days. The beds were comfortable, the deck was spacious and well situated to take in the beautiful sunsets, and the hot tub was wonderful. The place itself is extremely cozy and well decorated. The fireplace was a very welcome feature. Property manager was nice and very responsive. The only blips we experienced were a small issue with the oven (one of the dials broke) and the presence of three large neighborhood dogs that kept coming up on the porch to investigate our snacks (they were nice enough dogs, and left when told, but kept coming back). These were very small details though, and overall this place was just lovely and perfectly suited our needs. Be aware that the rental is on a large property with two other rentals, and is somewhat close to the larger of the two (Rim Rock Lodge). There was a large group there the last 2 nights and we could definitely hear them partying, but you can't really see between the houses or hear the noise from inside, so it is still pretty private. Recommended!

This cabin was wonderful for our family of four. We were visiting family in San Marcos and used this cabin as a place to stay that was close. It’s well decorated, cozy and in the absolute perfect location! If you like being secluded, this is the place for you. There is a house close by but you can’t see them.

50 Birthday celebration

This is our second time staying at this lovely cabin & property. The view is absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed most of our time out on the porch looking over the valley, having coffee , lunch , birdwatching, enjoing the hot tub 
 we did see a fox! Very relaxing.. the cabin is beautiful, clean, cozy and well stocked. There was one negative
on our first day stay when we arrived between 430 -5 there was a wedding going on very nearby, I believe at the Rimrock Lodge? which was quite loud and went on until about 11 pm , which takes away from the whole “getting away” feeling so I suggest & will myself check to make sure there is no wedding going on before I stay here again..

Perfection!

This home was possibly one of the best we have ever rented. For a long weekend for two Ladies, everything we needed was included, and then some. All details were accounted for which made it very easy for our stay. The view was also one of the major selling points for us. While it was cloudy during our stay, you still couldn’t beat the patio and the view. The proximity to Wimberley plaza also was very easy for daily shopping or dining. We will definitely be back to the area and this home would be our #1 preference.

Wonderful getaway

It was a wonderful and relaxing getaway. Everything from the cabin to the area was wonderful. We enjoyed everything about it. The views were amazing and the hot tub added that much more. I loved the quaintness and detail of the cabin. It was very clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable which made for a great nights sleep. We will definitely be back !
