Very nice property for the price . It is a good location for almost anything you would need to do in the area and easy to find . Really enjoyed our stay here !
Very quaint clean picturesque setting . Beautiful hiking just 2 miles away . Had a wonderful breakfast at Ozark cafe downtown . Harps grocery had everything we needed. Matt is a great host we will definitely be back !
Very quaint little cabin. Easy to find and easy communication with the owners. Matt was very nice to us. Was comfortable for the most part . Just need a love seat or something downstairs . Was only two straight chairs to sit in downstairs and the bed . The Area is very beautiful! We enjoyed the stay and will be back.
Everything was as advertised except someone had smoked heavily before us.
Everything was great except someone smoked in the cabin before we arrived. I went to a local store and bought and sprayed a whole bottle of Febreze extra strength fabric in the cabin. Helped a little bit.
The only downfalls to this property come from not knowing the area before arriving. The main thing I am referring to is weak or no cell service which occasionally made it difficult to use Google maps to get around. The property did have great wifi so that's helpful and it allowed us to plug in our Roku and stream shows at night before bed. The cabin was pretty cozy and the AC was amazing. That was really important to me due to the insanely hot weather during our stay. Also, the water pressure in the shower was great. THE ONLY real complaint I have is that the bathroom door does not fully shut and does not lock. That should be fixed. If you are going to be in the area for hiking or a float trip, try out Little Switzerland, you will not regret it.
Also, I gave 3/5 stars for cleanliness only because there were dead insects around window sills and there were what appeared to be slug trails on the ceilings along with spider webs that had flies in them. BUT it is a cabin in the woods so that is to be expected. There were no live bugs inside and the toilet, sinks, shower and beds all were very clean. I would gladly stay again.
The directions and communication were very good. The cabin was just as nice as it looked online. We went to Boxley Valley to see the elk and weâre not disappointed. The leaves in the area were absolutely gorgeous.

Jasper trip
Needs updating and plumbing repairs. Pictures are not current. Lots of Highway noise and traffic. Dont recommend cabin 1. Too close to the highway. No privacy when sitting out on the little side porch. But overall would stay there again.
Matt is very hospitable, an his cabin is cute as pie. Just be careful when Showering the fire alarm does get hot easy. We enjoyed the stay ,its conveniently located. An the rate was perfect! Thank you Matt for having us!
Had a wonderful stay with the family! Close to some amazing hiking trails. The place was very clean and owners are wonderful to work with. Will be back!
This was a last minute trip and then we had to move our dates because of an illness. The property owner was very accommodating to move our dates and make cost adjustments. The room was located in a central location for our hiking and canoeing. The only complaints are we couldnât figure out the tv operation (there were no instructions) and the mattress was well worn. We also noticed the carpet on the back of the room became a little damp after record setting rains in the area. Overall, a good stay for the price. The WiFi worked fine most of the time.
Overall experience was good property was very clean and pavilion and fire pit was nice. Only complaint was our room was close to the highway and you could hear traffic all hours of the night but everything is close to the road when you are in the mountains
