St. Joseph's Dwelling Place propose un hébergement propre, confortable et paisible pouvant accueillir jusqu'à six personnes dans un choix de chambres avec lit king ou lits jumeaux. Trois salles de bains privées complètes et propres. Vous partagerez une cuisine entièrement équipée et un salon / bibliothèque avec de nombreux livres et jeux. À seulement 5 km des villes de Ludlow et Weston, à 10 minutes de la montagne d’Okemo et du prieuré de Weston, vous pourrez accéder à de nombreuses activités de plein air, manifestations culturelles, services religieux, boutiques et restaurants. Situé sur plus de 5 hectares dans les Green Mountains du Vermont, avec ruisseau et sentier de découverte, belvédère, grand feu de camp avec bancs en rondins, grand parking gratuit et deux tables de pique-nique. Juste pour rester ici est une expérience de retraite, et des conférences de direction spirituelle et de retraite sont disponibles pour les clients qui désirent ces services.

Great location on the less busy side of town.

Catherine was a great host and her place was clean, roomy and functional. I have everything that's need and more. It was a delightful stay and we definitely will come back again.

Clean and cozy house in great location.

Our overall experience was great! Catherine is a very responsive and accommodating host. The property is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Okemo and about 25 minutes from Viking X-country ski center and Stratton. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Thank you, Catherine, for hosting us. We enjoyed our stay at your property!

An Amazing Stay!!!

My friends and I had such an amazing time at this house! Catherine was such an awesome host for us. We made a super last minute NYE ski trip and the location was perfect for Okemo— a short 10 minute drive to the slopes. There was way more room/space than expected and they were so clean and well stocked with clean towels, extra sheets/blankets, etc. A very homey vibe; made for such a fantastic time. Also, the backyard was massive and we enjoyed spending time in the gazebo! Catherine was super helpful via text when we had any questions or concerns such as the mini power surge in the middle of a winter storm. There was a generator just incase too! She is a fantastic host and I would very much recommend this house! Thank you, Catherine!!!

Winter Weekend Stay

Tranquil property located within a 10 minute drive of Okemo Mountain Ski Resort base lodge. Spacious, but cozy feeling, apartment located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Property owner was on the property (but we never met them), and communication was great. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen is a bit snug and probably the reason for limiting the number of guests. Easily accommodated us as we had the teens eat together first, and then the adults. Nice space for adults and families with older kiddos.

Bonding Time with the Family

As a single dad wanted to get away and take the kids on a long weekend. I ski but nobody else so I looked at this place and new just buy the pics I and my family would love it. They had a huge hill for sledding which my kids and I took advantage. Also close to the mountain to do other non skiing activities. Rooms were just perfect to relax.5star!!

Great Property

This rental has it all, being both comfortable and cozy. Unit was well furnished to the smallest detail. Property and surrounding area includes everything that makes Vermont special, woods, trails, mountains, skiing at Okemo (in season) and nearby Village of Ludlow, which is fun to roam. We'll come back for sure.

Family Ski weekend

Catherine was very helpful, answered all our questions quickly. There space was wonderful for our family of 5 with young adult children. It felt cozy…but yet the bedrooms are very spread out for privacy for all. Loved the mountainous views, the yard, and fire pit!

Very cozy home lots of space

There were a lot of rooms to accommodate all the family, lots of wood furniture, amazing snow view from wide windows in family room. There is view from almost every room. Cozy kitchen but you can find everything you need there. Huge library if you are books fan. 10 minutes from Okemo mountain yet very isolated and peaceful. Catherine was very responsive and carrying.

Peaceful and beautiful stay!

This property is awesome! It is honestly such a peaceful and beautiful location. It’s nice and quiet, and perfect for families. Lots of bedrooms and a kitchen that can comfortably fit 5 or so. Property was super clean, and neat. Had a a very cozy feel to it. It’s located about 7 minutes or so from town and the mountain which make it a great location. Catherine who is the host was fantastic and answered any questions we may have had. The owners are on the property but you wouldn’t even know they are there. Everything for the guest is private . Highly recommend! Looking forward to going back!

Such a lovely home

We came here to celebrate my fiancés 30th birthday with family and friends. The location was 8 minutes away from the mountain and five minutes away from many great places to eat. Definitely recommend this spot and will try to stay here on future visits. Thank you Catherine for everything!

Cozy mountain hideaway

My two boys, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay at this home. Very comfortable accommodations, plenty of parking and kitchen supplies. Kitchen is a bit snug but it worked fine for 4 over a weekend. Owner is super responsive and my boys really enjoyed sledding on the hill out back after a day skiing at Okemo. Recommended stay.

Easy set up. Everything as advertised. So close to center of Ludlow/Okemo Clocktower Base yet far enough be the the peace and quiet. Catherine was very helpful and onsite and available at a whim.

Good Place And Owners, Kitchen is Shared

The property was very nice, clean and well setup. Extremely close to Okemo Mtn, the only downside was it was not clear in the listing that the owner lives in the same building, and other guests share the kitchen! Wasn't a problem, but would have been nice to know. Overall had a great time there, Catherine Joanne was responsive and clear with all directions.

I have been passionate about providing hospitality here in the Green Mountains of Vermont since 1993, when St. Joseph's Dwelling Place first opened its doors. Staying here and experiencing the beauty and peace of our natural setting is a retreat in itself! In addition, my education and experience are in Spiritual Direction and facilitating Retreats for guests who desire these services.

Quiet, peaceful, inspiring surroundings, running brook, rolling hillside and meadow. Many large windows let in natural light and provide stunning views all around the house. Lots of natural wood and brick, comfortable chairs and simple decor encourage rest, relaxation, prayer and reflection.
