This property is truly like home away from home. It has everything you need. This property has to be the cleanest rental property I have ever stayed in. The decor was welcoming. The check-in/check-out process was a breeze. The pool area was like being on a resort with amazing views. Kristal our host for the weekend was very responsive, and nice. I would highly recommend this home with ease. My friends and I are thinking of making this an annual staycation.

Very Nice and beautiful views. Loved the grape vines, the lemon tree, the lime tree and the avocado trees. Downside: umbrella on front porch broken, had to spray for ants, no pool net to pick up items, did not like having to text to get spa turned on. Some grooming should be done on tree outside of guest room.

GORGEOUS property! Must stay!

My friends and I had the best time here over the weekend. Kristal was great, quick to respond, and has done a wonderful job of decorating the place. The pool is immaculate, it feels like you’re at a resort.

The views are amazing. So serene and quiet but still only about 15 min to town. We enjoyed the pool and the host was so quick to respond to any questions we had. Absolutely recommend this property.

Beautiful home and views

The house is just as described, the views were amazing and it's close to everything in town. There's plenty of room and the kitchen is fully stocked. If I had any complaints it would be with the slip covers on the furniture, they probably need to be replaced at this point because even though they are clean they are showing some stains, That aside I'd definitely recommend the house and host and would absolutely stay here again.

Potential
but fell short of expectations

This location and home are amazing. The house is very beautiful and the owner has obviously taken steps to make it nice accommodations. Overall we felt very safe, it had what we needed, and was as advertised. The negatives did have a huge impact on our review, though. First and foremost there were mice
everywhere. Both grills were unusable because of active mouse nests in them. The propane grill was also out of propane. The large couch in one of the bedrooms was also covered in mouse poop under all the cushions. Obviously we were not able to use that, even though we did spend some time vacuuming and sanitizing it. The other glaring issue is the pool. It’s still cool and the breeze can make it outright cold outside so the hot tub was an absolute necessity for us. The owner controls the heat being on in the hot tub which requires that you text her every 30 minutes while you want to use it. At one point it took about 1.5 hours before she responded and turned it on. This system does not work and should be adjusted so that guest have some level of autonomy in using the hot tub, since this is a huge part of the appeal of this home. I’ve been to many rentals that offer various options for control of the heat, this is by far the worst set up. My final negative comment would be that there were no instructions left on site. So every detail you needed had to be requested over VRBO messenger. Again, it just felt like a few steps could be taken to make this all much easier on the guest.

Disappointed

We were quite disappointed with our stay at this property. The view was extraordinary and initially we were excited with the home as well
that wore off quickly as we noticed the following: a mold growing on patio door, the exterior chair cushions were dirty and moldy, interior seating was rickety and broken and simply covered w/slip covers. We bought groceries for grilling but neither of the advertised grills were operational-no propane or charcoal. The bed mattresses were uncomfortable/worn out and simply topped with foam pads that did little. We chose this property for pool access, unfortunately we couldn’t use it. Only when we inquired about its very cold temperature were we told it wasn’t heated and that only the spa could be heated. Only two of the pool loungers had pads all other pool area furniture was bare so we couldn’t even “hang out” poolside. This property definitely needs a maintenance overhaul inside and out. The representation of this property via photos and the actual condition are quite different. This is definitely not what we expected, planned for or what we paid for. The priority of selecting a property for this trip was the pool and it was unusable. A refund/discount seems appropriate.

Incredible views but not much else

We booked this property because we wanted a space with views but also a jacuzzi to soak in. While the property manager responded to messages, the jacuzzi never heated up. We enjoyed the layout of the house but the beds were uncomfortable. The water pressure was scant and the pool was frigid. The sliding doors were covered in mold and there was a funky odor inside. This property is amazing! Dealing with a funeral and estate it was a perfect get away to de-stress. Beautiful views and many amenities. House is gorgeous and Kristal was a super host. We hope to come back and enjoy our time just lazing at the pool!

Great place to bring in the New Year

We enjoyed the tranquility of the area. The home was bright, clean and comfortable. Great place to write, or just relax with family and friends.

Pool didn’t work

Prior to booking I let the host know that the pool was an important part of why we were booking. I asked up front if the pool had any issues. I paid an extra 500 to have the pool heated for three days. When we arrived the pool was way too cold to swim. The next day the hot tub was almost drained, not warm, and the pool was barely warm enough to swim. The next day the hot tub was empty and the pool was cold. I had to call VRBO to try to get the owner to respond to messages. I spent all day trying to the pool back to working, but it never did. Beautifil warm day wasted trying to get the pool fixed while the kids sat around bored. A complete waste of a vacation. No appologies or hint of caring from the owner. And certainly no reimbursement.

Top of the hills with a 360 view

We, a group of 5 friends, stayed at the property on a weekend of November. The view and pool area are a must. The house is spacious and fully furnished for a perfect stay. Would definitely rent the property again if the opportunity arises.

Nice property

Didn't stay the first night because there was no power. Pool had a lot of leaves in it. Nobody came to clean it. Other than that , the property was very nice.

Breathtaking views, wonderful house but had pool/spa issues

This house had absolutely breathtaking views for a full 360 degrees- vibrant sunrises and sunsets in the peace and quiet of a hilltop vineyard. The home had a well stocked kitchen, plenty of bath & pool towels, comfortable couches & beds with beautiful decor. For the check in process, there was no WiFi password supplied, just the network name was given. For an area that has little to no cell signal, it was inconvenient to try to find cell service to reach the owner for the guest WiFi password. Then despite paying $150 extra to heat the spa, it was not heated upon arrival. It was a few hours until it finally turned on due to technical difficulties trying to communicate with the owner and their pool app. We were looking forward to evening swims with the pool lights that are displayed in several of listing photos, however, the lights were broken. I asked the owner several times about the pool lights and they ignored the questions each time. The entire pool system shut off on Sat evening & we woke up to a cold spa turning green. They did not send someone out to repair the pool. We searched google for repair ideas & discovered the pool level was too low. After filling up the pool with a hose for about 30 minutes, we were able to prime the pool pump to get it to turn on. We asked the owner to keep the spa heater on, since we paid for it, but we woke up the last morning to the system off again and a cold spa. It was frustrating that we paid extra for a heated spa that didn’t work.
