We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse! The property is very secluded, yet just minutes away from Dahlonega. If you are looking for comfort, peace and quiet in a farm setting, this is it . The home is equipped with all the amenities you need, including a very spacious kitchen. Enjoy the deck and beautiful walks around the property, feed apples to the horses and donkeys, or just lay back and watch your favorite TV show. This property has it all!

A wonderful relaxing setting on a farm. The hosts were very accommodating and communication was very good. It is a very clean place and had everything you needed provided. We have been to other rentals where the kitchen was bare bones. This was well stocked with quality equipment. We highly recommend this charming home and hosts!

The breathtaking scenery, nestled within the peaceful hills of Dalonega, Georgia, paired with outstanding cabin accommodations, makes the Flying Duck Farm a perfect vacation destination. The farm is located close to a multitude of activities/sites, yet feels far away due to its serene setting. On the property, guests can hike, fish, and pet sweet donkeys and horses. The cabin is fully stocked and uniquely decorated with items that compliment the animals and nature found on the farm. Our daughters discovered the cabin a few months ago and urged us to book it as well because they knew we would love the setting. They were right!Booking the cabin was easy and communication with Brenda, the hostess, was highly efficient and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Flying Duck Farm and highly recommend it for others to experience.

This home was exactly as described! Clean and well stocked. We loved the donkeys! Everything was quiet and very peaceful. The shower is a little on the small size but that was our only concern. I would definitely recommend this home!

My wife and I loved it here. The farmhouse was idealic and the grounds were perfect. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and horses and fishing in the pond. Caught quite a lot of fish. We saw several deer on the property. Mike and Brenda were great hosts. Very friendly. We will be returning for another visit soon.

The house had everything we needed during our stay. We made our own meals, and the kitchen had all the necessary supplies. The bathroom had enough towels and the bedroom enough blankets for our family. We especially enjoyed walking down to see the horses and donkeys as well as panning for gold in the creek. We had a great stay!

I absolutely LOVED my stay at this charming cottage. It was so peaceful, just what I needed! There is a walking/hiking trail for woodsy walks and if you're of the mind some creek walking. I really enjoyed taking treats to the donkeys and horses. Lots of opportunities for porch sitting and stargazing from the deck. The cottage itself is cozy and had everything I needed. There are plenty of games for families and children. The cottage is in a great location, a very quick drive to the town center with charming shops and some really good restaurants. Kayaking and tubing opportunities are close by as well. I highly recommend hiring a driver to visit some of the many vineyards. The hosts were very kind and offered suggestions. They were quick to answer questions and helpful. I love this place and I will definitely return!

This is the BEST place in Dahlonega!!!! Kitchen is stocked, everything is clean, property was so beautiful and open for us to walk around. The owners are generous and kind. Property isn't large, but we had 3 adults and it was a great time.

The owner provided everything needed to make the stay as problem free as possible, even down to games, an umbrella, and pans to use in panning for gold in the creek. The pond was well stocked with fish. The donkeys were always glad to greet the visitors. The house was beautiful inside.

Clean, clean, clean! Awesome stay, animals everywhere! Bring some apple slices and make new friends, the donkeys are the stars! Great hosts, great communication. Location great to Woody Gap, Cooper Gap, Neels/Mountain crossings all on the applachian trail.

Farmhouse was so incredibly cozy and owners were super sweet! We loved all the amenities and enjoyed visiting and feeding the animals on site. Make sure you arrive in the day time because it was a little tricky at night until we realized where it was. We will definitely be back for another stay within the year!
