Cette maison Cortez magnifiquement décorée est à quelques minutes de l'île Anna Maria et des plages du golfe. Ne pas sentir le sable aujourd'hui, pas de problème! Détendez-vous à l'arrière de la grande piscine privée ou faites une sieste sur le grand NOUVEAU sectionnel extérieur confortable en face de la télévision de la piscine. Nous sommes situés à proximité du village de pêcheurs de Cortez, des magasins de plage, de plusieurs restaurants, de la musique live, des magasins de location de bateaux et de jet ski! Nous sommes fiers de l'expérience client, alors laissez-nous vous aider à tomber amoureux de l'endroit que nous appelons chez nous!

La maison à aire ouverte dispose de deux salons séparés avec de grandes sections pour se détendre et une grande conversation. La salle de télévision est dotée d'une grande télévision connectée de 55 pouces connectée à certaines de vos applications préférées pour regarder vos émissions préférées.

Faites un plongeon dans la piscine couverte ou blottissez-vous dans notre grande section extérieure devant un autre téléviseur intelligent de 55 pouces. N'oubliez pas de prendre une photo devant les ailes d'ange peintes sur le côté de la maison sur la terrasse de la piscine.

Vous n'avez pas envie de dîner au restaurant? Aucun problème! Dirigez-vous vers la cuisine entièrement équipée et préparez un repas fait maison pour votre famille ou faites griller des steaks sur le gril extérieur situé sur la terrasse de la piscine. We had such a great time here. We traveled with our daughter and son in law and 3 grandchildren and my mother. The 2 living rooms were ideal for down time. The kids all enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the sitting area around the pool. The home was VERY clean and adequately supplied. The owners are easy to communicate with before hand and even check in with you after you are there to see if you need anything. We never needed anything while we were there. We will definitely be back.

The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including plenty of beds, a washer and dryer, and basic kitchen appliances. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage, which were a great convenience.At the same time, the home could benefit from some updates, as a few furnishings showed wear and tear, such as rickety table and chairs, paint chipping in the bathtub, stained rugs, and some scuff marks on the walls. The pool area itself was very nice and inviting, though it is close to a main road, so there was some noticeable traffic noise.

Pool was warmer than anticipated which the kids loved! Could not use the key pad to get into the front door but owners gave us the code for garage which worked fine. Close to stores/beaches. Comfy beds! Perfect spot.

Beautiful home

We had a fantastic time. Great hosts who were very responsive. The house was well stocked, plenty of storage and space, and great pool area. We were close to the beaches, and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful experience

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. We’ve enjoyed every experience here. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 6 as well as our small dog. The property was equipped with more than we could have needed. Highly recommend!

Clean and Close to beaches

This house was very clean and had all amenities for our 6 night stay. There was one mechanical issue and the owners fixed it promptly. You are very close to Anna Maria Island from this property. The only drawback is its close proximity to a busy, noisy road.

Overall good experience.

Our stay was overall a great experience. The only cons from this rental was the location to the main road, it was very noisy at all times of day and night. The furniture was a bit wobbly.

Great location

We had a great 3 night stay and enjoyed staying at the Shell House. We got there late the first night (flight delay), but the kids still jumped in the pool before heading off to bed. House is just over the bridge from Anna Maria Island and we had no issues with traffic during our stay, which we loved. We also ate at nearby Swordfish Grill and the Cortez Cafe, which were amazing, and parked at Coquina Beach two days in a row with no issue. House is comfortable and has everything you need. We'll definitely stay again if needed as it was less than 20 minutes from the airport, as well.

Short drive to everything

Comfortable stay with a clean pool and a comfortable bed in the Master suite. The owners were easy to get a hold of and communicate with. A very short drive to beaches and restaurants and an even shorter drive to shopping centers. The closest we could get to being on the beach without bein gon the beach. We would recommend this home . Our only complaint was a stiff sliding door to the back patio. Otherwise thank you for a wonderful stay.

Another good week!

This is our second time renting at this location. We absolutely love this house! The kids stayed in the pool all week. Very spacious and clean! Had a little mix up with the code but we got it fixed right away!! We had a wonderful vacation for Christmas! We will be renting here again!! Thank you for such a good time!

everything the website said about the shell house was true.great location to the beaches and parks.we had one small problem with a tv remote and a new one was furnished that day. pool didn't need to be heated, was 82 everyday. lots of room and parking in garage made it east unloading. will stay again if need be. thank you for opening your property to us.

Nice house but needs some repairs

We love the layout of the Shell house and all that it had to offer. We picked it based on its size and location. When we arrived we were told to text with any questions or concerns. We noticed immediately that the house was in need of some repairs but we are not picky. The first was that the leak shower in the master bathroom. It had a terrible loud flowing drip that could be heard all the way in the living room. When I texted the owners about it they were already aware from last person's stay and said they couldn't get anyone out until later that week. I was very understanding even though the loud drip kept me up at night and was annoying. We also had issues with our master bathroom light not coming on correctly. I dont like that we weren't informed of these issues ahead of time. The pool was nice even though it is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. After our stay I was informed of a claim they that was filed by them through Vrbo that we had apparently damaged the screen door latch. This latch was already broken when we stayed there. The screws had fallen out as it is a very old latch. The latch kit costs very little at home depot to repair (we are very aware of these repairs as my husband does remodels) and yet they filed a claim for a ridiculous amount !! They have several people going in and out of that door including the pool cleaner and yard cleaners and yet we were blamed. Also, the yard service came at 8am the day we were checking out and were trimming trees as we packed up our car getting debree everywhere. Please take pictures of everything you see upon arrival because these owners will accuse you of the repairs that need done and file claims for you or the insurance to pay. Never have I ever had this happened and I've rented dozens of times. Very annoyed.

Suzanne, we are sorry that after we filed our claim against your damages, you decided to coincidentally find some issues with our home. However, the damages, the mess and the ignoring of the house rules, led us to our decision. We thank you for your stay and will learn from this experience and ultimately become better hosts from it.

Good location--close to 3 gorgeous beaches (Cortez, Coquina, Manatee) with bike path we used to avoid Cortez Road traffic to the island. We loved exploring Longboat Key beaches too.Loved the pool with lanai and outdoor couches/big screen tv movie night. Traffic was a bit loud at times but we just turned up the outside music/movie volume!Plenty of functional living space. Beds were fine. Kitchen had a ton of cooking pots and pans--missed hot pads.Nice volume of towels for beach and home.Tons of beach toys, umbrella and chairs in the garage--and loved garage opener and parking out of the sun/elements overnight.Olga was a fantastic host communicator.Requires a car but the pool and access to numerous beaches with free parking was wonderful!

A great family home!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The host did a wonderful job at preparing the home for us. We have a 3 and 7 year old, who lived in the pool. There were floats and toys there that they enjoyed. My 7year thought the coolest part was, being able to watch a movie outside while she was lounging in the pool. We spent most of our time out there. We did get bit up the first night, from the no-see-ums. After a little bug spray it was the most enjoyable time. The location was great. Close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. It was wonderful, and we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in Bradenton, FL! The Shell House was beautiful and comfortable. There were two large living areas as well as an outdoor seating area and tv. There was a fenced in area for our dog. The pool was wonderful. Everything was very clean. The house was only a couple of miles from the beaches on Anna Marie Island and several restaurants. The owners responded to all our needs. I would definitely stay there again.

Visiting the Granbabies!

The positives: Communication was OUTSTANDING!!! With every question or concern we had they were quick to answer. The home has a fantastic layout, the small table and chairs were perfect for our granbabies to eat their meals and snacks and having a tile floor made cleaning up after them very easy. Beds were comfy, AC kept us cool on the hot days. The pool was smaller in person than in pictures but was a perfect size. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again!!! Things that would've made our stay a bit more enjoyable: storage containers or saran wrap/foil for leftovers, a pancake flipper type spatula, labeling the Roku remotes-was tricky finding the right remote for the right tv. What bummed us out: the mural by the pool you see in pictures is no longer there. We were looking forward to photo opportunities. Restaurant to check out: Tide Tables is on the water just down the road towards the beach on the same side as the home before you cross the bridge and they have THE BEST Grouper Bites!!!

The one complaint we have is the back yard was not maintained well. Our dogs were in weeds and tall grass for most of our visit, really annoying pulling little stickers from plants out of their fur every time they had to potty. Other tan that, the neighborhood was nice to walk our dogs in early in the morning or late in the evening. Short drive to the beaches. Inside of house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen could use more cooking utensils and a larger frying pan. The owners were great to work with and responded quickly! Great place to stay for families or couples vacationing together!

Great time!

We enjoyed our stay! We loved sitting outside watching movies and swimming. The pool isn’t heated so it was cold some days. We felt that the home is in need of some repairs and upgrades. Make sure to bring your own detergent, extra paper towels, extra toilet paper and extra kitchen bags. We ran out of the starter supplies early in the week. There is a grocery store nearby but had I known we would need to bring our own, I would’ve planned for it. The location is close to the beaches but gets loud at night. We used a white noise machine app on our phones which helped. Also, if you are able to plan ahead and bring your own bikes or rent them, we would highly encourage that since traffic can get heavy traveling to the beaches. The home has a nice open floor plan and nice privacy. The beds were really comfortable!
