Our family had a wonderful trip! My 4 kids loved the upstairs bedroom and it gave them a separate space to hang out. The bus to Vail was about .1 mile walk. The kitchen was well stocked with a crockpot, pots, little condiments and plenty of plates and silverware. The owners were pleasant and helpful when anything was needed. We would definitely stay again.
We stayed for 5 nights and really appreciated all of the amenities of the condo - well stocked kitchen (make sure to check for condiments and spices before you go to the store), kid plates/cups/bowls/silverware pack-n-play, extra supplies including blankets, towels, etc. Superb communication & great location with closeness to the bus stop. We would definitely stay here again and the creek behind the condo is beautiful and so peaceful. A few things to note: The Nelsonâs warned us about the ice outside of the VRBO and they made attempts to lessen it & make it safer, which we really appreciated the warning. We traveled with my 75 yr old parents and a 3 yr old & 1 yr old and it was SLICK. We were constantly worried about my parents falling. Also, there is one tub upstairs and the glass doors arenât great for bathing kiddos. It is completely doable, but awkward since you only have access to one side of the tub at a time.
The property was as described. Our kids loved the upstairs bunk room. The property was well equipped with easy parking right in front of the unit. We skied at both Vail and Beaver Creek during our stay and the condo was an easy drive to each location. We would definitely stay again in the future.
Comfortable beds, cozy living room. Convenient for skiing, shopping etc. Only 100 yds to bus stop to save time and money vs finding a paid parking lot and probably having to walk further with ski equipment. Great communication with David, Gary, and Cindy. Thank you.
6 of us fit perfectly in the condo, anymore and it would have been a little tight. Having the shuttle to take you to and from the mountain is a huge plus! Would def come back to this place, no complaints!
Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at the condo in East Vail. The bus stop was less than a minute to walk. We used the lift in Cascade to get up on the mountain (less than 10 minutes by bus). Not crowed and no lines! Condo has everything you need and the big TV was great for my boys to watch football. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
This large spacious property is perfect for 1-2 families on a ski trip! The location is fabulous if youâre skiing Vail and Beaver Creek as itâs halfway between the 2 resorts and on the Vail shuttle line. Thereâs a Safeway grocery store 4 minutes away. Our kids loved the bunk room overlooking the creek in the backyard. Everything was clean, photos accurate, great stay.
Great townhome located between Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts. Just steps to a convenient and free bus to Vail/Lionshead that leaves about every 30-min; bus trip was 15-20 min. We did not need to rent a car. Clean and Well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Back sundeck had a gas grill and a beautiful view of Gore Creek. Top-notch communication with Gary with easy electronic key lock system. Highly recommended!
The Condo had allthe necessary kitchen equipment. A nice touch was a plentiful supply of tissues. The short walk to the free bus stop was perfect. The downstairs bathroom was a bit tight, but overall the place was gereat.
This is a perfect place for a family. Right on the shuttle line; very friendly hosts. I recommend staying here, and would stay again. The Vail shuttle is the most reliable ski-town shuttle I've ever used. It runs on time, and when it's busy they run extra shuttles so you'll always catch a ride, regardless of the crowds.
The property was in excellent condition and very well maintained, far better than most corporate properties. I also appreciated excellent communication with the owner. Although a little further from center city, the bus transportation made it possible to get anywhere we needed to go easily and conveniently.
Easy to access. Would still recommend having AWD. Kitchen is tight but we could do what we needed to. Beds are standard and so are linens. Place was clean. Would recommend investing in some inexpensive humidifiers to keep in bedroom closets.
Everything was great. The condo was nice, clean, and pleasant. Another benefit is this condo is really close to the bus to Vail Village where there are lots of restaurants and entertainment!
Our family really enjoyed our stay. The Host, Gary kept in touch throughout our stay and made sure to take care of anything we needed. The condo itself has a great view from the deck and from the upstairs bedroom. Stocked kitchen with pretty much anything you might need. The location makes for getting around very easy. The kitchen is a little tight, but we managed without a problem. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Gary
Plenty of room for our family of 6. Our boys loved the bunk room. The view from the back deck was absolutely beautiful. The bus stop was an easy walk. Owners communicated through text which was very helpful. Recommended stay, for sure!
We had a lovely stay at this adorable condo. Gary was friendly, professional and responsive, as was his in town contact, David (aka, his son). Everything went smoothly and amenities were as described. The location couldn't have been better - gorgeous view of the river, easy drive to Vail, quiet, and private. Also, we made pizza several times because they actually had a pizza stone (a first in many VBRO stays for us). The only minus was the kids fighting over which bunk they would get! Highly recommended!
While raising our two sons in Iowa we would take skiing trips to Colorado and we all got "hooked" on the fun! So many memories were made over the years. Eventually kids grow up and move away from home. One to Texas and one settled in Vail! So we have had an "excuse" to come out to Vail in both the winter and summer to visit. Lucky us! We decided to purchase a condo in 2018 so that we could spend more time visiting our son and enjoying Colorado. We too, like our son, have discovered all the wonders of the Vail Valley. Whether you like to ski, golf, fish, hike, bike or so many more outdoor activities there is no better area to be active than the Vail Valley. Naturally our son and his family in Texas also approve of our families Colorado retreat! :-)
We wanted a property that made us feel at home. We wanted a property that fit our needs. We wanted a property that afforded us convenience, yet serenity and beauty. This condo gave us all of that. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck with the morning sunshine overlooking the Gore Creek. There is plenty of elbow room for everyone and the convenience of the wonderful local transportation system is awesome.
Our son gives us local representation for our guests and an assurance that every detail is taken care of. Our son is available to help you in any way with local knowledge or with any issue that you may have with your stay.
