Si vous êtes dans la région pour des vacances ou pour travailler, cette fantastique maison / chalet sur un magnifique morceau de propriété au bord du lac est à seulement 12-15 minutes de Bridgewater et à 1 heure de Halifax. 2 chambres complètes à l'étage et un en bas pouvant également accueillir 2 personnes. Cette escapade incroyable est équipée d'une pompe à chaleur, d'un foyer électrique, d'un poêle à granulés en bas, du wifi et de la télévision par satellite. Asseyez-vous sur le pont et profitez des sons de la nature ou détendez-vous avec un feu ouvert au bord du lac.

Excellent Property

We were very pleased with how clean and well-equipped this property was. The landscaping was lovely and meticulously cared for, and the furniture was modern and very comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to (and during) our stay. We highly recommend this charming, cozy cottage by the lake.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

This was our second time staying at this property. It is modern and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet beside the lake. We would definitely stay there again.

First time in Nova Scotia

We loved it! We did day trips to Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and the Halifax Waterfront and we had company come for a relaxing afternoon from Annapolis Valley. The location was perfect for us, as it is also off the beaten path, about 15 mins to anything. The cottage is tastefully decorated, clean and the kitchen is equipped with everything we could possibly need. My partner was impressed with the comfy bedding and pillows. I had to ask Coralee a question and the answer came within minutes! We may consider another stay and have already recommended this to another family member for next year.

Peaceful property

This is a beautiful spot with all the comforts of home. We really enjoyed our time at this rental. It was very clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend for any family get away!

A perfect stay

A great stay if you’re planning on visiting all of the scenic areas of Nova Scotia. The cottage is clean, has a beautiful view (especially in the morning) and has Amenities fairly close by when in need. I’d give it a 10/10 if I could!

Fantastic lake front getaway!

Property is fantastic! Very clean and comfortable and well stocked with all dishes, linens, cards and games needed for a lakefront get away (including a very cool Nova Scotia shaped crib board). We very much enjoyed being able to use the canoe and other water toys on the calm lake. Definitely recommend and we will hopefully stay there again.

Quite and Great View of lake!

Easy to find and close to shopping stores, restaurants and grocery store. Slight electrical problem, which was handled by owner right away.I would recommend to anyone wanting R&R while enjoying towns and villages as well.

Nice cottage, plenty of space

My husband, kids, and i enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and the extra rec room downstairs was great to have space for the kids to spread out. Being there in November we didn't use the lake but the view is gorgeous and the location is great. Not far from town if you have things to do. The cottage is stocked with everything you need.

Absolutely beautiful location and home!!

Wonderful experience. I would appreciate a toilet paper holder in the bathroom and maybe some more spices for the pantry. But other than that, it was absolutely perfect. Thank you both so much

Peaceful Lakeside Cottage

Peaceful lakeside cottage close to all of the amenities of Bridgewaer Nova Scotia. The small Lake Lewie is not a deep lake and features warm waters. The cottage sits on a shallow end of the water's edge where you can launch a canoe or floatation device. Great for naturalists who want to see pitcher plants on the outlet side of the lake. If indoors, you'll find a kitchen with all utensils and accessories you need. Outside, a barbeque and picnic table. When the night skies appear cloudless, the star gazing is marvelous.

The lakefront house is roomy, except for the two bedrooms. Nice view of the lake from living room.

We enjoyed our stay which was cut short by a day because of an approaching hurricane.

Private Woodsy Retreat

The location of the property was in a beautiful woodsy setting and at the edge of a small lake. The privacy and quietness of the surroundings made for a very relaxed getaway. We enjoyed using the canoe and sitting by the lake during the day and the lakeside firepit each evening. The indoor gas fireplace also helped to warm us up during the cool Sept mornings and nights. Some repairs are needed to the deck but the view from there was exceptional. Communication with the hostess was immediate and helpful. A worthy destination indeed!

Peaceful!

This property is located on a quiet lake - you feel like you are in the middle of no where but so close to everything - great location for day trips around the South Shore area. It was exactly what we needed to unplug, relax and enjoy the last days of summer 2020. Definitely a property we would be interested in visiting again.

Peace at the lake

The property was beautiful and the cottage was very clean and nice. The week at the cottage is just what we needed! Peaceful and relaxing and a lot of laughs around the fire pit. A vacation that we will never forget!

Peaceful and comfortable

This lovely cottage makes you think you're far away from town, but in reality it's only 10-12 minutes from a town that has everything. Location is very convenient and close to beautiful towns and attractions, not to mention hiking, paddling and many other outdoor activities. The cottage itself is just about perfect and well-supplied , with modern conveniences to make things easy while away from home. the hosts are easy to communicate with, and very gracious. All in all, we hope to return to this lovely spot in the future. Angela and Mark MacDonald
