Whitewater Mountain Cabin sur la rivière

Une cabane en rondins de montagne moderne directement sur la rivière Cullasaja surplombant les rapides près de la base d'une cascade de 250 pieds. Le paysage est à couper le souffle et le son des eaux vives est vraiment vivifiant. Les Highlands se trouvent à environ 20 minutes à l’est sur une belle route sinueuse avec des cascades pittoresques à explorer le long de la route, telles que les chutes Bridal Veil et les chutes de Dry. Highlands est une grande ville avec des magasins, des restaurants et une épicerie gastronomique. Vous aurez envie de passer du temps à monter et descendre la rue principale à travers la ville. Pensez également à la randonnée facile jusqu'à Sunset Rock (juste après Highlands, restez sur la même route) au coucher du soleil pour admirer une belle vue sur la ville. La cabane est le rêve d'un pêcheur à la mouche, car vous pouvez voler des poissons dans la rivière derrière la maison. Il y a généralement quelques cannes à pêche dans la cabine, bien que vous deviez apporter vos propres fournitures (hameçons, leurres, etc.).

Amazing River Cabin!

We just returned from our stay at this perfect Cullasaja River cabin and I cannot say enough good things about it! The river setting is so beautiful and peaceful and the cabin was so clean and comfortably furnished. We loved every minute of our stay and hope we can return soon. My husband enjoyed being able to fly fish for trout right outside the door and even caught a couple! I highly recommend this amazing place!

A Gem So Special You Want to Keep it Secret

This was our 2nd stay at this property and we absolutely love it there. As my title suggests you want to hide knowledge that it exists it’s that special. But out of respect for the owner and manager, I’ll tell you…this is as great of mountain rental experience as you’ll find. The magic of the property and home will be quite evident when you arrive. I don’t need to sell it. And Bettina is (by far) the best rental host I’ve come across. She hits all those special touches above and beyond to make your stay truly wonderful. We love this place.

Unbelievable!!

The cabin was unbelievable! Everything was as described and how everyone in the reviews said it was and better. We loved everything about the cabin and the location is stunning. The communication was incredible also from the time we booked the place all the way untilnwe checked out! Bettina was awesome!! Thanks again for a incredible place to stay and we look forward to coming back again one day!!

Just awesome!!!

This house was absolutely perfect. There are no words for the view of the amazing stream that looks like it’s flowing down right into the house. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly think of. There was literally nothing you needed to buy except food. Already planning a trip back in the summer.

Idealistic Mountain River Cabin

My wife and I absolutely loved our 5 night stay at this magnificent property. From the beginning meeting the host, Bettina, to the ease of checkout at the finish, it was a pure delight. 5 star in every way. The cabin is super clean, gorgeous, and has everything you could possibly need. It’s a superstar by itself. But the megastar of the show is the stunningly perfect river right outside everywhere you look or listen. It’s something you have to experience to understand, but this is a special place. Highly recommend. We will definitely return, and it can’t come soon enough 😊

White white cabin

Serene and Relaxing

This cabin exceeded our expectations. It was even better in person than in the pictures. Our family enjoyed fishing in the river, playing horseshoes, dining on the screened in porch, drinking coffee on the balcony while listening to the river... the list goes on. We cooked every night and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the loft space was simply breathtaking. The living room smart tv is huge (very important) and there is a tv in the other lower bedroom- Nice with kids. A Hammock and yoga mats were available and even wine and smores kits for purchase. We went to Highlands several times and enjoyed visiting waterfalls along the way. Dry Falls was spectacular. We drove our minivan but a car with more undercarriage clearance is preferable due to some grading differences in the road in areas. As much as we love our Tesla, were glad we didn't bring it. This is our favorite VRBO and we hope to return as often as we can in the future.

Great Property and Location

Stayed for a month to play and work. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The river is very comforting and beautiful. Property manager is awesome and very accommodating! I will be back to stay again!

Beyond Expectations

My wife and I have traveled extensively and stayed in VRBOs all over the country. This may be the best we have ever experienced. The cabin is exquisite and includes everything you might want— but the setting is what makes the property truly remarkable. The roar of the cascading river just below the cabin will transport you to a different world. The area has a lot to offer— hiking, beautiful lakes and great restaurants but it was hard to leave this slice of heaven. We will be back!
