Vue imprenable sur l'eau. Idéal pour vos vacances en famille, près de Cavendish!

Laissez le stress dans votre vie derrière et profitez de notre magnifique cadre relaxant, dans cette ferme du siècle pittoresque située sur 10 acres de terrain surplombant la rivière Stanley. À cinq minutes de Cavendish et centré entre les principales villes de Summerside et Charlottetown.
Cette confortable maison d'été est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre en famille ou 2-3 couples. Il y a 2 lits queen et 2 lits doubles avec tous les draps fournis. Il y a aussi un piano ancien dans la salle familiale. Nous avons fait plusieurs améliorations à la propriété depuis le printemps 2014, y compris une nouvelle terrasse plus grande (avec une vernada) qui entoure le devant de la maison + une section blindée, une extension de chambre-donnant sur la rivière (+ lumière du ciel), des rénovations à la salle familiale pour la rendre plus familiale et une balançoire pour les enfants.

Préparez une alimentation de moules ou de homards dans le hangar à côté de la maison et profitez du pique-nique parfait à l'extérieur, suivi d'une partie de crochet ou de football. Profitez des grands terrains de golf, des plages, des antiquaires et des parcs d'attractions qui sont à quelques minutes, puis revenez vous détendre sur le pont et profitez de la vue imprenable sur le jardin et l'eau. Nous fournissons un laissez-passer gratuit pour les plages du parc national et quelques friandises à l'arrivée.

La ferme est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances parfaites.

Stunning property close to so many awesome experiences the island has to offer. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the owner was equally smooth. We were welcomed with a beautiful basket full of East coast and island treats and everything was exceptionally clean. The kids had an amazing time playing outside with the world's coolest sprinkler rocket and the cottage is stocked with games, books, and a beautiful view to boot.

Peaceful retreat

It was wonderful to stay in this charming, clean and perfectly outfitted home. The host had planned for every need and made us feel so welcome. The views were gorgeous! Each bedroom and the bathrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was thoroughly outfitted. We spent many comfortable evenings as a family on the spacious porch and living rooms. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous stay at Bernadette's rental. !!! This house is everything and more. Quaint maritime style and much larger than the photos show. The deck is perfect and the view is amazing. We were 3 adults and 3 teenagers and we had everything we needed. You will be minutes to Cavendish and the house is located central to all your needs. Easy communication . Terrific base in Stanley Bridge!

We are a group of 4 middle-aged golfers (okay, seniors) who stayed for 8 days on our traditional PEI September golf getaway. Bernadette was a terrific host, communication was prompt and friendly, and the house was as described. The views were superb, and we had an awesome week. Highly recommend checking it out and we'd return without hesitation! Great place!

Better than the pictures!

This is a little slice of paradise with fantastic hosts who have thought about providing everything you might need while vacationing. Our family of seven didn’t want to leave. The kids loved playing on the swing set and in the yard more than our daily excursions. The adults enjoyed looking at the scenery from the Adirondack chairs in the porch. From the Webber BBQ to the kitchen full of essentials and four comfortable beds, you won’t go wrong staying at this vacation home.

Prince Edward Island perfection

Our week in Stanley River met every expectation. The home is very clean, comfortably appointed, and has everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. The hosts have ensured the kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of supplies and everything works well. They were also kind enough to let me park my motorcycle in their shed on the night we had a little rain. The spaces indoors and outside are comfortable for conversation, reading or playing games. It really met and exceeded our expectations. A highly recommended experience for people looking for a little quiet enjoyment in a stunnning setting.

A wonderful experience!

We had an amazing week on the island and staying at this vacation home was a big part of our great week. The home was beautiful and well equipped. The view was spectacular. Bernadette and Andrew were attentive, responsive and caring hosts. They went out of their way to accommodate us which was especially helpful given we were travelling with two young children. We appreciated how well stocked the house was with supplies including the many toys, games and various equipment for us to enjoy. We would highly recommend the place. Thank you for a fabulous week with so many wonderful memories.

Amazing Family Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; it was perfect for our family of four (with two young children) + our friends' family (with one young child). The farmhouse was even nicer in person than the photos and everything was clean and organized. Bernadette was a wonderful host who went above and beyond - from providing an extra fan when we asked for one to leaving a lovely welcome basket full of goodies upon our arrival. The view of the river is stunning and it is centrally located close to Cavendish and Charlottetown. I would highly recommend this place, especially to families!

Amazing family friendly cottage

Spacious and clean cottage with an incredible view. Has everything already there for whichever activity you want to do (go to the beach, boat, bike, golf, fly a kite, or simply relax at home with the kids). Bernadette was very responsive when I contacted her. We could not have asked for a better place for our family with two young kids, and my parents. Also we were very pleased to discover that the bug situation was not very bad around this cottage (bugs on the island can be bad at times and more so in some areas than others). Wonderful wonderful stay.

As a senior it's the cozy feeling and the peacefulness the cottage has.The view and beauty of the property speaks for itself and for a young family a dream.The landlord is only a call away and ever so helpfully.

Charming, picturesque, family vacation

The Campbell's farmhouse was such a beautiful and picturesque home that we didn't want to leave! The photos hardly do justice to the wonderful view of the Stanley River and the surrounding property and gardens. The home itself provided all that we needed (4 adults, 4 small children) to cook, clean, grill (brand new!), and enjoy ourselves throughout the grounds. Our kids loved the hillside, fire pit, and play structure, not to mention all the rec equipment (loved flying the kites at the beach) stored in the large shed - the adults loved the hot outdoor shower! We took advantage of the shared dock down the road and often jumped in the river or took the kayaks out. Our delicious meals were mostly enjoyed outside on the wraparound deck (there is no formal dining inside the home). The Campbells were welcoming and prompt with communication. When we informed them of a wasp's nest underneath the porch steps, they took care of it the next day. We knew they would be accessible when needed but were never intrusive during our time at the house. This home is so close to all the attractions of Cavendish and provided the perfect base for our families to have a truly memorable vacation on the Island!

The perfect house for a great PEI family vacation!

The Stanley View Summer Home was the perfect location for two young families to spend our summer holiday! Clean and comfortable with lots of room and so many amenities to keep us comfortable for the week - including the welcome basket, which was a lovely touch! The kids loved the big yard to run around in (especially through the sprinkler!), as well as jumping off the nearby wharf and going for canoe rides. The adults loved the spacious deck, where we ate breakfast and dinner each day (enjoying the spectacular view!), as well as the screened-in porch area, great for relaxing in the evenings after the little ones were in bed! The Campbell family were wonderful hosts - answering many questions prior to the visit, stopping by to ensure everything was okay and even setting up the sprinkler for our children to enjoy! Thank you Campbell family - we can't wait to come back again!

Pristine home with to-be-seen water view, very close to Cavendish!

The home was so pristine and charming. It was very spacious, with 3 sitting rooms/living rooms. There was a generous welcoming gift with both sweet and salty goodies. All kitchen appliances looked new and worked well, there were many dishes to use as well as oils, spices and condiments, even coffee and coffee filters! The beds were very comfortable and there were many fans to keep you cool at night. All the linens were very clean and of high quality. The deck was so welcoming and relaxing, even in the rain, and plenty of seating for many guests. We wish we could bring this water view to our own back yard! We had coffee and breakfast on the deck every morning. We had fun playing the board games found in the closet, especially Apples to Apples. It was a lovely vacation spot that brought relaxation to our small family group, aged 12-79! Thanks!

Great view but.......

Great view and beautiful cottage as reviewed however disappointed to learn that by " access to dock' means walking to their other cottage down the road and sharing said dock with their family and neighbor's family. Definitely not what we were expecting. Lack of privacy also an issue, owners dropped by at least 4 times for various things and the day before we were leaving the female owner told us that they were moving in their stuff at 10am, so we took that as get out. We found that extremely rude, it seemed like that was where they spent their summer vacation and we were intruders. We have always rented through VRBO and have had great experiences but this time needed a bigger place for more family, all in all more cons than pros.

Hi Jennifer, I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your vacation at our summer home and that you did not feel welcome. I usually pride myself on welcoming our guests including the offering of complimentary treats and beverages upon arrival. I have always informed all of our guests that we provide shared access to a dock which is just down the road and inform guests that they are more than welcome to drive down. Our Ad also shows the pictures of our home - quaint and small 4 bedrooms and I' m sorry it was too small for your family of 5. I do apologize again if you felt that we disrespected your privacy with the frequent visits. I dropped by to collect the rent, once I believe may have been to offer a boat ride, collect a water sample , and once to borrow our personal bikes which we loan to renters. I usually stop or call on the last night to thank renters and wish them a safe trip home and to kindly remind them of the regular check out time of 10 am - but I am sorry you felt otherwise but I did have very friendly conversations with your family members on those occasions. Looking back there were a few drops which I understand were not appreciated and yes we do use our property on occasion. I do wish you the best of luck in finding other vacation rentals on VRBO that meet all your needs, as it is a great site and will be much more conscious of respecting privacy. I am also sorry that you did not address your concerns earlier as I could certainly have suggested other rental properties for you. Thank you Bernadette

Wonderfull time

If you want to relax, this is the best place to be. The host are very thoughtfull, a very nice basket of treats was waiting for us. A nice farm house with a lot of charm. Extremely large lot for the kids to play and a wonderfull view. everything clean cut and well maintained, would rent this house again.
