Sea of Green, la maison de vacances situĂ©e sur l'Ăźle de Captiva, est dĂ©corĂ©e d'un dĂ©licieux arc-en-ciel de couleurs vives. SituĂ©e sur la paisible rue Laika, la maison de quatre chambres Ă  coucher bĂ©nĂ©ficie de sa propre piscine chauffĂ©e privĂ©e (tempĂ©rature de l’eau fixĂ©e Ă  85 degrĂ©s F). Le grand patio de la piscine avec moustiquaires est dotĂ© de chaises longues, d’une table Ă  manger extĂ©rieure et d’un barbecue Ă  gaz. Des fleurs tropicales, des fougĂšres, des palmiers, des figuiers et des arbres fruitiers ornent le terrain, grĂące au climat fantastique de Captiva. Les allĂ©es menant Ă  un petit patio et Ă  un coin salon se trouvent dans le jardin avant. Profitez-en pour vous dĂ©tendre, lire un livre ou contempler tout simplement le beau jardin.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience. This is our second family vacation to Captiva. Last year we stayed across the street. This house is 4 bedrooms and Kitchen is stocked. Has automatic icemaker which is nice. Nice grill on screen porch. Pool is a little small but had a safety fence which was nice as we had a 19-month-old child with us. Plenty of towels. Shed was loaded with beach umbrellas (3) and chairs (although chairs were a little beat up). American Realty did a nice job. Anything you need just call them. I highly recommend this house.

The renovations done on this Home were well done. The common areas are conducive for family time or even alone time due to spaciousness. Home located a short distance from the beach which I love. Also the ranch style enabled my sister who is physically disabled to move around freely and access the entire home without assistance. That's what I appreciated the most about this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was a little hesitant to book this house but supply was short so we took a chance.Turned out to be a very nice home. Close to the beach. Walked to most restaurants. The pool was new and nice, smaller then in the pictures. It was nice to have a one story due to having a toddler. Bathrooms were updated since the photos from the time we booked. Air conditioning needs some work. Living room and kitchen were freezing and the bedrooms were hot. Needs a new vacuum and a good deep cleaning. Overall we would book this house again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at Sea of Green, but is now the fourth rental house on Captiva we have stayed at. The prior stays were all through American Realty of Captiva, as well. Sea of Green is a very nice older style Captiva home. Built at ground level with some nice upgrades and remodeling. The kitchen is very functional and well equipped with all you need to do your own cooking, if you wish. The pool was clean and heated although a bit small for my liking. (Looked a bit bigger to me in the pictures) but we enjoyed it none the less. In the spirit of full disclosure there was a definite musty smell we noticed upon entering. Like there may have been some water leak at some point. My best guess it was coming from under the kitchen sink and may have gotten into the wood base of the cabinet. It was dry the time we were there and we used the kitchen and the sink quite a bit and if had been leaking at some point it is fixed now. We had one small leak with the hall bathroom toilet during our stay but AMRC was extremely quick to respond and had it fixed in no time. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would consider renting it again.

We had 2 grandkids with us so the shirt walk to the beach was perfect. It would be nice if the beach chairs where upgraded. They where pretty nasty. Just a small thing but goes along way. Loved the pool back at the home too. The layout of the home was perfect for out needs.

SEA OF GREEN REVIEW

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second time we stayed at Sea of Green. While the location is perfect, the house is in dire need of some upgrades. It's looking pretty worn and weathered. The pool area bricks are in sorry shape. They are caving in in multiple areas and the pool furniture is beginning to peel. The lack of a useable closet in one of the rooms made it a bit of a pain. We had to call maintenance three times to have the pool area cleaned. There was still a cigar butt laying on the deck. After the third try, I gave up. My guess is it's still; there. The AC was horrible. The back rooms never cooled. the beds are bad and every corner of the house had dead bugs. Been staying in Captiva for 30+ years and I know bugs are an issue but walking in the door and having them waiting?
