À propos de cet hébergement

Tout juste terminée en juillet 2019 et prête à être appréciée, la cabine Silver Spur du Lazy Buffalo dispose de deux lits queen-size et d'une salle de bain complète avec une douche carrelée. Le bois de grange, le pin noueux et l'étain ondulé sont utilisés dans toute la cabine spacieuse. Les sols en béton teinté foncé et les plafonds en étain ajoutent vraiment une ambiance rustique mais élégante. Profitez du coucher de soleil depuis le long porche couvert tout en vous relaxant dans les rockers en bois. Nous sommes également ravis de notre nouvelle zone de pavillon avec une table de pique-nique et un grill au charbon de bois.

La cabine Silver Spur représente l'ère du Far West. On disait que notre ville autrefois lil occidentale avait son lot de hors-la-loi célèbres qui la traversaient comme Belle Starr et Jesse James. La porte de fer perdue est toujours un mystère.

Le Lazy Buffalo se compose de 4 cabines à thème individuel. Le Silver Spur Cabin est la 2e porte à gauche en regardant The Lazy Buffalo et sous le toit blanc.

INTERACTION INVITÉ
Le Lazy Buffalo a un enregistrement sans tracas. Une entrée à pavé tactile est utilisée pour que vous puissiez vous rendre directement à votre cabine à votre arrivée. Nous vous enverrons un message avec un code d'accès à la porte. Notre maison est juste en haut de la route et est toujours à portée de main si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit. Arrivée après 16h et départ avant 11h

EMPLACEMENT
Nous sommes à seulement 800 mètres de l'original Quanah Parker's Star House et à quelques minutes de Lawton Fort Sill et de l'historique Medicine Park. Explorer les montagnes pittoresques de Wichita est un must. Si vous êtes amateurs de vélo, une piste cyclable pavée jouxte notre propriété et parcourt les montagnes.

We enjoyed our stay greatly the only hiccup we had was the walls are thin and our neighbor had a baby that would cry and wake us up. But I would stay again!

Cabin was super cute, clean, comfortable beds, etc. Everything you could ask for. Host left what looked like a hand drawn pic with 2 Hershey kisses for my daughter & I. Wonderful, personal touch. Only 2 complaints. 1. Current burn ban so no . (Obviously that’s out of everyone’s control, but still sad) 2. The cleaning charge is really high. WARNING! It almost doubled the price of our one night stay. We are very clean people. We left the cabin as we would live in our home. My daughter made her bed & I went back & messed it up, Lol! Get my money’s worth 💸

We loved everything about The Lazy Buffalo. It was clean, beds were soft and sheets were soft! It was right where we needed to be for the occasion. The owner was very personable and kept in touch about our trip. We just went right to our room and didn’t have to do anything at all. Highly recommend 100 stars! The water bottles and snacks were an added bonus for us.

Relaxing and Quiet

This was an AMAZING stay for us! Relaxing and VERY clean! It was thoughtfully and beautifully designed cabin feel! The comfort in knowing if we needed anything, the host made it very easy for us to communicate with them. Their hospitality was so well thought out. We have lived in Southwest Oklahoma for over 60 years and love our hometown of Cache. The Wichita Mountains are right in our backyard, and we get to enjoy their beauty every day.

In 2019, The Lazy Buffalo opened with 5 vacation rental Cabins. These Cabins were designed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and the history of our hometown. In 2021, the Venue with Bunkhouse opened, and we carried over the same western vibe when designing the 2400 square foot space. Throughout 2022 and 2023, we opened 6 more Cabins and in late 2023 our first set of pet friendly Cabins opened.

Conveniently connected by sidewalks, it's just a short stroll being the bunkhouse, our Cabins, and 24 hour guest laundry. All together, we can accommodate up to 49 guests among the 13 Cabins and Bunkhouse.

We are blessed to be family owned and managed. Our favorite thing about hosting is seeing multi-generation Families gathered around sharing quality time together. Should you need anything, our home is only 2 blocks from the Cabins. We hope you make wonderful memories while being our guest at The Lazy Buffalo.

Southwest Oklahoma is rich with History and offers endless things to do and discover.

CACHE - our hometown
Dine in at a local cafe or order fast food to enjoy at our outdoor pavilion. Wahlburgers, the first one on Oklahoma is located just across the highway inside the casino. This burger restaurant is family friendly.

The Cache City Park has a Pickleball Court with lights. Kids will enjoy the splash pad (open Summer) & playground equipment. The park features a paved trail and has kids bikes available for use.

For those that like to hit the slots, the Comanche Cache Casino is now open and has over 300 games. Casino is ages 18 and up and is non-smoking.

For history enthusiasts, Quanah Parker’s Star House is nearby. The two story home is known for its distinctive wraparound porch with large white stars adoring the roof. Many tales of the famous outlaws Belle Starr and Jesse James were rumored to have roamed our area. Will you be the one to find their hidden loot?

WICHITA MOUNTAINS WILDLIFE REFUGE – 3 miles
The Wildlife refuge spans 59000 acres and home to free range buffalo, longhorn cattle, and other species. Stop at the Visitor Center for a wealth of information on all the Refuge attractions including the Holy City, Quanah Parker Lake, parallel forest, forty-foot hole, and Charon’s garden trail.

MEERS & MEDICINE PARK – less than 15 miles
Take a scenic drive to Meers, a town known for its gold rush days. America’s cobblestone community, Medicine Park, is just past Mount Scott.

LAWTON - 10 to 20 minutes
Lawton is a bigger city and has activities such as casinos, iMax Movie Theater, shopping, and restaurants. Walmart, Academy, and Target are a short drive up the highway.

FORT SILL – 20 minutes
Fort Sill is the last remaining active military post that was built during the Indian war and is home to the US Army's Field Artillery. The prominent Native American leader of the Chiricahua Apache, Geronimo, is buried at the Fort Sill Cemetery.
