I am so disappointed in your review for our special lake house. The lake house is newly remodeled just one year ago. your comment concerning our lack of exterminating was very offensive. Of course we keep the house exterminated on a regular basis however, according to the Lakehouse information I emailed and text you. It did note that the house is on a lake and there will be bugs from time to time that comes with a lake property no matter how often you exterminate. I am sorry that a chair cracked. This certainly was out of my control as those are solid wood chairs. I offered to have someone come immediately when the decking again beyond my control had one plank break which you refused. I think you did not read all of the instructions I gave you as you did not put the garbage cans in the correct place which caused the neighborhood and my yard to be completely full of trash, which was very upsetting to everyone there was a specific place to put the trash cans which you ignored, causing quite a bit of trouble in the cleanup. However, I am glad that overall you had a good time as you relayed to me in our private messages.

What you left out of your review is check-in was at 4 o’clock. The house was not cleaned because you came in early upon your request because you said you were so tired from your trip. In hindsight, I should have said no that you need to wait until check in time so the housekeepers could finish cleaning before you come into the house. I assumed because I was offering you Goodwill to enter the house that you would have grace for us also knowing that the house was not ready and cleaned for your arrival because check-in is not until 4 o’clock and as you stated, you arrived early in the morning way before check-in. I have pictures from the cleaning crew showing the house was ready when you returned after normal check-in time. Those pictures and their verbal word adamantly disagree with your findings. I know you requested a discount which I gave you as well as new sheets because one of the sheets was slightly discolored, certainly not soiled. Though you caused a lot of stress, I was very kind to you through all of your over the top complaints. The ratings that I have had for years are full of very happy and pleased guests. The spot you were referring to on the carpet was not caused from a pet but from a painters boots which Was not able to be removed by a carpet cleaner. However, it was Covered by a piece of furniture until we can get the carpet replaced. I’ve never had anyone move furniture to try to find more to complain about and receive a bigger discount.
