BEACH HOUSE, BETWEEN SEA, RIVER, MANGROVE AND JUNGLE

The house is on the beach. It offers a fabulous panoramic view, from the terraces and rooms (and even from your bed), of the beach, the Golfo Dulce, the jungle and the tropical garden. The terraces, the beach and the trails allows you to discover and observe, on the spot, an exceptional fauna and flora.

Punta Preciosa is located in the best preserved and most fascinating region of Costa Rica, presented by the National geographic as "The Most Intense biologically Place on Earth". The house is located in the heart of the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Preciosa Platanares, between the jungle, the mangrove and the Golfo Dulce, that is to say 4 different eco-systems.

AN ADORABLE HOUSE, COMFORTABLE AND PLEASANT TO STAY IN

The house is very open to the outside and allows direct contact with nature. It has several spaces to share pleasant moments of conviviality.

THREE BEDROOMS, KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, TERRACES & BEACH...

The rooms are protected by mosquito nets. They are decorated with Cristobal wood. The furniture was made by a local artisan in fallen wood.
The Almendro room has a superb 180° view on the jungle, the beach and the Golfo Dulce. It is equipped with a king size bed, a small desk, a bathroom (with hot water and toilet) and a terrace with armchairs.
The Ilan Ilan room has a superb 180° view on the jungle, the beach and the Golfo Dulce. It is equipped with two twin beds, a small desk, a bathroom (with hot water and toilet) and a terrace with chairs.
The Cacao room has a superb 180° view on the tropical garden. It is equipped with two twin beds, a small desk, a bathroom (with hot water and toilet).

The kitchen has a family refrigerator, a stove, an oven, a coffee machine and all the necessary equipment to cook and take meals on the spot.

The living room is a very convivial place and open to the outside.

The terrace is equipped with a sofa and a table that can accommodate 6 people.

The house has chairs and hammocks installed on the beach.

YOU HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE ENTIRE HOUSE

The property is permanently guarded by a keeper who lives in a small, completely independent apartment on the ground floor at the back of the house.

MANY ACTIVITIES ON SITE OR NEARBY, GUIDED OR UNGUIDED

The unique location of Punta Preciosa permits the practice of many activities on site or nearby, guided or unguided.

The guided activities proposed are personalized and individual. They have been conceived with the best guides.
As far as possible, the departures are made from Punta Preciosa (kayak, horse, boat...).

We can arrange all of these activities for you if you wish.

Punta Preciosa is only 15 minutes away from Puerto Jimenez (and its airport) and is a perfect base for visiting Corcovado National Park.

AN ECO-FRIENDLY APPROACH AND IN HARMONY WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

We try to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. Our energy is 100% solar. We do not have air conditioning. The furniture was made by a local artisan with local fallen wood. The cleaning products are organic. We try to sort and recycle our waste. We replant a lot of native plants and trees, we regularly clean the beach and participate in many environmental protection programs.
We work exclusively with local artisans, guides and merchants and participate in the life and animation of our community.
We have created and we manage a program for the protection of marine turtles in Playa Preciosa. You can participate to night patrols or baby turtle releases with volunteers....
