We come to the hill country every Memorial Day long weekend and this yearâs cottage rental was perfect! The location was so good for all we do in the area. The home and backyard were great! We enjoyed the back porch rockers and view after a day of visiting wineries and taking regional day trips! We highly recommend this place and the owners were very responsive and made check in and check out as easy as weâve had!
Location to wineries was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Would have really enjoyed the porch and patio had the weather been cooperative! Will definitely be back
Our time here on my birthday week/weekend was a one of kind experience. The house absolutely gorgeously decorated and no details missed. Highly recommend! Management on site the best perk you could ever want or need. Everything in the home is immaculate and well cared. A lot of thought on details went into this incredible visit to the Texas Hill Country. Private road, gated entrance and amenities all top notch. We would stay here again. Stunning.
We had the pleasure of staying in this home for my friend's 60th birthday wine and hill country experience. It's perfect for two women who need space to get ready. There are 2 master suites. We saw deer, cardinals, humming birds, cattle. This home is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. We were gifted a lovely bottle of wine from our host. It is in close proximity to all of the vineyards and Main Street is not far. Our only regret is not spending more time enjoying the home.
My sisters and I loved the house. It was exactly what we wanted. It was very clean and had all the necessary things we needed for our stay. We came to visit our cousin who owns Covington Sellers and it was so close to her winery. When we plan another trip there we would definitely stay in your place
Wonderful place to stay. Visited wineries, breweries, and distilleries! Sat on the back deck for dinner, rocked on the back porch with our coffee!
This was our second time to stay here! We will be back! Thanks for a great place!
Chose this location because it was so close to the wedding venue. We left wishing we had had time to just sit and enjoy the property. Absolutely beautiful.
This was a great location and wonderful house. Saw hummingbirds, cardinals, deer, and cows....all from the back porch. Can't wait to stay again and get to use more of the facilities.
This house was the perfect spot for our trip! We loved the house... the fantastic accommodations with 2 identical bedrooms/bed size wise (great for 2 couples), a very clean and well supplied house, and a cute backyard and patio. The location was ideal for us as we were within a short 30 min drive of pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Definitely want to stay here again, and spend more time exploring all there is to do in the hill country!
Beautiful and peaceful except early morning trucks traveling up and down the gravel road starting around 4 am. Evenings are wonderful sitting on the rocking chairs on the patio under the ceiling fan. Would stay again but will bring ear plugs so I can sleep through the early morning noise.
Was a rainy and cold weekend. Not a usual weather for Easter but we still had an awesome still perfect time. Everything was amazing. Definitely recommend.
We came to visit a friend who has a ranch nearby. This was the nicest house we have stayed at in Blanco county. Very comfortable and clean. Hosts were extremely responsive when needed. Would highly recommend and would stay again if available.
Perfect location and home for our recent trip to the hill country! Lovely home, well equipped, loved having two masters suites. The patio and outside area were very nice and we enjoyed watching the deer as we sat outside. The owners Paul and Bev are onsite and very gracious and delightful to work with. We are looking forward to going again.
Overall, we absolutely LOVED this house!! One negative was that there is a rock quarry down the road, and the trucks start coming by at 6am, so not ideal for sleeping in, but that is truly the only negative!!! The home is beautiful, a perfect layout for 2 or 6. We loved spending time on the back and watching the cows and deer while we relaxed. Bev and Paul are awesome hosts!!! They left great details/directions in the home for you to reference, and when the AC wasnât working right, they immediately came and fixed it!!! We never âsufferedâ until it was fixed. It was something small, and they are getting it fixed. I will say, my low to the ground vehicle would have been rough, but we were in my husbandâs F-250 truck, so no trouble getting up and down the dirt road!! We will be staying here again! And if you are here, make sure you head to Johnson City and check out Pecan Street Brewery, fantastic customer service and great food!!!
Loved this property! Such a cute place and super clean. The bedrooms/bathrooms are the exact same on each side of the house, so itâs absolutely perfect for two couples looking to get away for the weekend and enjoy Fredericksburg. The property managers are so so sweet and even gave us a bottle of wine when we got there! The weather didnât cooperate, but I canât wait to come back and enjoy the patio under the lights and the hammock. Thanks for a great stay!
We loved this house and the quiet country evenings and watching the deer roam. The bed and sheets were very comfy. This is not a house that contains cheap fixtures. The owners took their time in making it a nice place to stay.
However, we were there during the week and starting about 5:30 every morning the dump and concrete trucks start running down the road. Apparently there is a quarry or cement plant on the same road. Since this house sits right on the dirt road it is very loud. Many of the trucks stop right in front of the house to let each other pass because the road narrows. Take a LOUD fan or other white noise machine if you expect to sleep late. Past 5:00 p.m. or so you rarely see a car. There is a house next door that shares the same gate but there was plenty of privacy.
We would stay there again.
