Bienvenue à «Hale O'Honu», la tortue de la maison de la mer, une partie de notre collection de luxe hawaïenne. Hale O'Honu est un chalet flambant neuf et magnifique de 3 chambres / 3 salles de bain offrant tout ce dont vous pouvez rêver pendant vos vacances sur Big Island à Mauna Lani.

Hale O'Honu est une maison individuelle de plain-pied décorée de manière professionnelle (pas d'escalier, pas de maison mitoyenne à murs mitoyens) qui dégage une atmosphère de sophistication mais qui est confortable et invitante. Parfait pour accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes, c'est une véritable île comme à la maison…

La maison a un design polynésien moderne et un plan d'étage spacieux de 1700 pieds carrés avec de beaux sols en travertin et une cuisine gastronomique entièrement équipée, équipée de plans de travail en granit et d'appareils en acier inoxydable.

Deux lanais privés (qui s’ouvrent de grandes portes vitrées coulissantes du salon et de la chambre principale) sont meublés de chaises longues stylées et d’un barbecue. Ils sont entourés d’un paysage tropical luxuriant qui procure une sensation de tranquillité et de calme.

Il y a deux suites à coucher lumineuses et spacieuses, toutes les deux avec des salles de bains privatives et des garde-robes de type spa. Un maître offre une peluche, Cal. lit king tandis que l'autre offre deux lits jumeaux XL qui peuvent être réunis pour faire un roi si vous le souhaitez. La troisième chambre a une reine et a également une salle de bain. Tous les lits sont équipés de draps luxueux à 600 fils et de superbes couettes en coton / lin. Tous les baignoires sont garnies de serviettes blanches, moelleuses et 100% coton.

Les chambres sont également toutes équipées de télévisions à écran plat. Le salon dispose d'un écran plat 75 pouces ultramoderne, d'une télévision intelligente - il suffit d'abaisser les stores automatiques et vous disposez d'une salle de projection qui vous permettra de filmer parfaitement nuit. Netflix est disponible gratuitement.

Les clients de Hale O'Honu profitent pleinement du spectaculaire centre de loisirs de 2 hectares de KaMilo, situé à environ 90 secondes de marche du chalet.

Le centre de loisirs propose une superbe piscine en mosaïque, une grande piscine familiale de style lagon, une pataugeoire pour enfants, deux spas Jacuzzi, un centre de remise en forme avec appareils de musculation, des poids et haltères et des douches (avec vestiaires séparés pour hommes et femmes).

Il y a aussi un grand pavillon couvert adjacent à la piscine en forme de lagon avec une cuisine, un barbecue, un évier et un réfrigérateur - un endroit idéal pour prendre un repas, organiser une fête ou savourer un cocktail relaxant (ou deux).

Accès à un paradis de plage privée

Le club privé de plage Mauna Lani (une carte d'accès que nous fournissons à nos clients permet l'entrée) est à seulement quelques minutes en voiture et constitue un autre avantage de la location de Hale O'Honu.

C'est une plage de sable blanc pittoresque - une véritable oasis - parfaite pour la plongée en apnée (* l'un des meilleurs spots de plongée en apnée de toute l'île), la natation, le kayak et le canotage debout (* il y a un kiosque de location entièrement approvisionné à la plage). Si vous souhaitez simplement vous détendre, le Beach Club propose des cabanas et des chaises longues (gratuites), alors prenez simplement votre livre préféré et vous êtes prêt.

Il y a aussi un excellent restaurant et bar au Beach Club où vous pouvez manger et admirer la vue sur la ville voisine de Maui ou commander votre nourriture pour aller pique-niquer à la plage. Et les couchers de soleil sont à couper le souffle!

Fantastic location and beautiful condo

We loved the cleanliness and updated aspect of this condo. The location was perfect when it came to getting around the island. The living space was comfortable and we loved the kitchen and spaciousness of it. We will definitely come back. The resort amenities were fantastic too!

Vacation away from home

The House is nice, there is everything which we needed. The furniture is a little out of date, the carpet in the master bed room needs to be change or wash. Otherwise the house is nice, plenty of spaces.

Beautiful location and home, needs some maintenance/updating and more thorough cleaning

The location and privacy of the home are wonderful. The home itself is lovely as well. We appreciated the beach gear in the garage to use, as well as the kitchen being well stocked. However there are quite a few maintenance issues in the house that need attention. The locks on the sliding bathroom doors don’t work properly. The toilet paper holders also don’t keep the paper rolls on them without falling off. There was a piece of cabinet corner molding in the kitchen that fell off randomly one evening and we had to try our best to put it back on. The shower caddy in the master bathroom fell off the wall while trying to get shampoo when shower. The back deck area is a gorgeous place to hang out, but there are tons of tiny ants that bite on the chairs and patio itself. The bathroom towels could use updating as well, they aren’t very white and clean looking. We would stay again but it would be great if the house could have certain things addressed and fixed up, to improve the stay, especially in the price range of this rental.

The fan on stove does not work. The door on the refrigerator does not open without force. There is mold in the Master bedroom shower. There needs to be a bright decal on the plexiglass on the Master shower as we ran into it as it is difficult to see, especially at night.

Nothing but ALOHA... in Kamilo 406

Our family of 4 just returned from a great week at Mauna Lani and amazing stay in Kamilo 406. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home was beautifully furnished, very well equipped and immaculately clean. We wanted for nothing - kitchen was stocked with everything right down to basic spices - and the garage contained everything we could possibly desire for a fun day at the Mauna Lani Beach Club... including great snorkel gear and bikes. We were fortunate to be granted a late check out and pay a half day rate since no one was checking in behind us for a few days - our flight wasn't departing until 1030pm and we so appreciated being able to enjoy another day in the house/at the beach. The beds were comfy - our 6'1" son really enjoyed the topper that was added to the twin beds in guest room to make it into a king. My only complaint would be the house could use some fresh pillows. Enjoyed the privacy that unit 406 offered - the outdoor seating areas were relaxing and comfortable. The Kamilo community within Mauna Lani is very attractive and offers a lovely pool/workout facility area. We visited the Beach Club daily, the unit comes with a beach club gate access card where you can find easy parking and a lovely restaurant for lunch, tropical drinks during the day. After having to delay our family vacation for 9 months due to Covid we were so grateful to enjoy some R&R together on our favorite Hawaiian Island. MAHALO to the owners, rental managers and the State of Hawaii for making it happen.

Very nice stay

We stayed for 3 weeks at this property. We appreciated that the property managers accommodated a few special requests in advance of our stay. We liked that this unit's owner had added overhead lighting. We appreciated the comfortable master bed, the shower heads and water pressure, the bicycles in good working order. Kitchen was stocked adequately, air conditioning worked well. Backyard is small and quite shaded and other than trips to use the BBQ, we didn't use it much. If you already know the advantages of the Mauna Lani area, this is a nice unit to stay in.

Highly recommend this stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The access to the beach club was the absolute best. The beach is so nice and not overly crowded and the snorkeling there was amazing. There were all the things we needed for the beach and snorkeling at the house for us to use. The highlight of our trip. There is a nearby market and shopping center that was very convenient. The dryer quit working and the property manager was so nice and very quick to get someone there to fix it. This house absolutely met all our needs and more.

Wonderful Getaway

This home was perfect for our Stay in Hawaii. We loved that there was a space for everyone and that the house had so many things for us to use. It made packing easy. We loved all the snorkel gear, bikes and sand toys that were part of the stocked garage. We will definitely be back

Big open living space with high ceilings. Decently equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms each with its own bath. really comfortable mattresses and bedding. Beach gear in the garage. Super clean. Very responsive manager. Not much in the way of private outdoor space - there's a small lanai in back - but it's a 30 second walk to the pools/gym/pavilion. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just got back from 2 weeks at KaMilo 406 and loved it. Check-in - if you could call it that - was perfect; instructions had been emailed in advance and were clear. We didn't need to talk to the property manager the entire time because the house was stocked with everything we needed plus more! Beach chairs, mats, pool floats, snorkel equipment, all the kitchenware, dishes, and flatware we needed were handy. The house is so close to the Foodland that it was super convenient to pick up food for lunch or dinner whenever we wanted to cook in. Beds and couches were comfortable and the living room TV is enormous! Location can't be beat - a few minutes to Waikoloa Beach Resort, Hapuna Beach, Waialea Beach, Black Sand Beach (on the other side of the Mauna Lani resort; this one is pretty cool - highly recommend, but go early as parking passes are limited), and of course, the Mauna Lani Beach club pass that is included with the house. Pools were nice and 2 minutes walking from the house, but we didn't spend much time there. Lap/Quiet pool was rarely crowded. Honestly, if I could buy the house with the contents, I would! It's a great place to stay!

Two weeks at Kamilo

The cottage was very spacious, quiet, and well appointed. Top end appliances made cooking very easy. The main and bedroom lanais offered comfortable outdoor space for R&R. The unit was a two minute walk from the rec center, adult lap pool (best outdoor pool I've ever used and I've used many in my days) and hot tub which we used daily. I could not recommend this unit enough.
