À une courte distance en voiture du golf et du tennis et à quelques pas des pistes de ski, ce condo comprend une cuisine complète, une cheminée en pierre avec bûches à gaz, une laveuse et une sécheuse, une connexion Wi-Fi, une télévision par câble et une baignoire à jets. L'unité va dormir 6 avec un lit King dans la chambre principale, 2 lits jumeaux dans la chambre et un canapé-lit Queen dans le salon. Host was ok. The amenities were sufficient, but dated. The location was the best part for our group as we were there for the slopes.

Easy check in and out. Clean, easy access to slops. Dated appliances and the shower curtains need to be replaced or treated for mildew. Other than that it was great!

The location was perfect for a quick getaway with my 2 buddies. Weekend skiing in Feb 2026, 3 guys around 40 yrs old. Parking is SUPER limited but the roads were well maintained even during/after a hard snow. Accessing the Easy Street slope was not impossible but it was pretty difficult hiking down the snowy stairs and crossing the foot bridge in my ski boots with all my gear. It can definitely be done if you’re decently physically fit. I personally loved it. Also not a far drive down to the parking area if you prefer that - only a 4-5 minute drive down. The condo fireplace was nice and toasty. Definitely a bit dated inside but no major quality issues. The age added to the charm for our experience. The place has glasses, bowls, utensils etc, paper towels, dish soap, bathroom soap, TP enough for a few days. The only downside was parking was SUPER limited so only 1 vehicle per unit. The others had to park in the overflow lot about a mile and a half down the mountain. Overall had a blast!

Ski in and out

Place was very clean, not far from green ski lift. We rented our skis and were able to ski down the mountain a short distance to the lift/bunny slope. There were a lot of stairs and it was a little rough since we had a good snow storm the day we arrived but I would not let that deter me from staying there again! The back deck overlooks the easy street slope, it was great to watch the skiers fly by.

Great Ski-in Condo right on the slopes!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved it! Comfy beds, great fireplace, you could look right out the window at the slopes. It was great to be able to ski right from the bottom of the staircase and not have to bother with driving or parking.

Great Place

Stayed late February and really enjoyed the mild weather while still being able to ski. Condo was right on one of the slopes. From the condo there were steps that brought you right to the slopes where you could start skiing down. When we were done for the day (or break for lunch), took the lift up one more time to ski down to path back to the condo. Being right on the slopes the condo was likely one of the earlier ones at Sugar Mountain but very well kept. Condo was a nice size for our family of 5.

Perfect Family Ski Lodge

This unit is incredible, right in the slopes - about. 100yds walk to the slopes. Unit had adequate parking and dumpsters were easy to find. It is also close to the clubhouse - 50 feet across the parking lot. The interior is cozy and the beds are very comfortable. If I had to find something to not pick I’d ask for an upgrade to the TVs they weren’t the easiest to use. But everything else was more than we could have ever hoped for.

Description Not Accurate

One bedroom has 2- single beds not twin beds as the description stated. TV in den did not work, TV in bedroom volume was stuck on loud. The remote were not working. Sent email to property management no response. Disappointed as I have been planning this past weekend for a while as it was my niece's 16th birthday. Banner Elk and Blowing Rock were awesome but the condo wasn't great at all.

We are sorry to hear that you had some trouble during your stay. Single and twin are two terms for the same bed size. There is no difference between the two; both terms are often used interchangeably. “Single” used to be the more popular terminology, but today, “twin” is more commonly used. We also state in your guest packet you get at check-in to contact us by phone if there are any issues during your stay. That is the quickest way to contact us. Since we are closed on the weekend (when you emailed us) email is not checked on those days. Guests need to call the after-hours number provided to them (outside of the office door, in your contract, your guest packet, the info binder in the unit, and on our answering machine for the main office). Had we been called we could have easily come out to fix those issues while you were there.

Great place for ski in ski out ease.

The rental was clean and ideally located next to the ski slopes. We had a great deal of snow and the parking lot was plowed well. Check in and check out we’re easy. It was everything we needed to have a great weekend skiing.

Great Location- Perfect for Families

We saw a couple dead bugs when we arrived. A couple of stove burners had to be tapped on to get them to work and the air condition did not reach the whole unit but that’s all the negative that I can report. This condo was perfect for me and my family and well worth the price. This location is centralized near Boone, Linville Falls, Roan State Park and Grandfather Mountain. Very peacefully located on Sugar Miuntain with a sense of seclusion. The game room building is an added bonus. For an older building, this place has been taken care of and has all the small appliances and utensils needed in a kitchen. The washer and dryer is nice for longer stays! Never had to communicate with the owner because everything is communicated in email or with well documented paperwork in the folder at the property, so I have no comment on that. We would not hesitate to return to this rental.

Late Winter Getaway

Condo was clean and well appointed. The gas logs were a nice extra. We enjoyed watching the skiiers from the balcony. The beds were very comfortable. Kids ( teens) were able to walk on to slopes, although there were many steps down. We did not attempt walking back up but very doable as long as you don't have young kids. The condo was a short drive to the ski lodge and the road was not terribly curvy and steep as some mountain roads are! Would recommend for skiing vacation.

Great location and property

Excellent experience. The condo was clean and convenient to everything at Sugar Mountain. The ability to walk onto the slopes without driving and parking at the base of the mountain was well worth it. Cool view of the slopes as well.

Great spot for skiing

We loved our week long stay at Branches 13. The only negative is the long hike in ski boots up the stairs, especially when it’s icy out but it’s much better than having to park at the resort. Overall it’s a tiny inconvenience and good exercise. The condo itself was spacious and cozy. A family of 5 was able to fully relax and enjoy our week long vacation. I would highly recommend and do it all over again. We loved the closet for the skis and poles as well.
