This rental property was perfect for our family reunion. Great living, kitchen space for cooking and visiting. Plenty of Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful lake view and beach access. And really clean!
Super close to Oscoda and Tawas for fun and shopping The weather prevented us from using the kayaks but we will be back!
Fun and relaxing weekend on the lake. Great fishing for young kids right off the dock and plenty of water toys for all ages. The house was clean, spacious and accommodated our needs perfectly. Close to everything you could need. We look forward to returning in the future!
We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet. Just enough of a beach for the kids to play in, and so grateful for all of the hosts' little touches, like sand toys for the kids, board games for the adults, and nice clean box fans in each room. One of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in. Thank you!!!
Our family had rented for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Minutes away from Lake Huron, we enjoyed both access to Cedar Lake and the beautiful Great Lake. The house was clean and contained all necessary amenities. There was even a complimentary stack of firewood for a beautiful fire near the lake. Highly recommend!
This home was very clean and provided our family a place to gather and enjoy a week together. It is well stocked with everything from games, to puzzles, to kitchen appliances, and even life jackets for the kayaks and paddle boat. The hosts were very responsive and did their very best to ensure that we had the best possible week. Even two neighbors chatted with us while we were there and made us feel welcome. The only downside was picking up after the geese that liked the property as well. The city beach in Oscoda was awesome! We highly recommend taking the 8 minute drive there to enjoy the sand, pier, and playground. Thank you.
We had a fabulous stay!!!!!!!! The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was just as described on their listing. We had plenty of room for 3 kiddos to run and play in the water. The kayaks and paddle board were lots of fun and there was a lifejacket for everyone. The kids enjoyed hunting for pretty rocks on the shore and sitting watching boats at the end of the dock. As noted in the listing the bottom of the lake is mucky startimg a few feet out but that didnt stop us from enjoying it as it was nice and warm. If you want less muck lake huron beach access is only a few minutes away. This was the perfect weekend get away with extended family and we would all highly reccomend staying here
We had an absolute blast with our stay during an almost unprecedented snow fall! We had a little trouble with the door lock upon arrival, but Mark's list of who to contact helped out and we were inside in no time. The house itself is beautiful and the new kitchen was modern, clean and functional. The rooms were all great sizes and having 2 full bathrooms really kept everyone on time! The kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow, building igloos and making sledding ramps. I would definitely recommend staying here in the winter months, there's so much to do in the neighboring areas, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice skating, and so much more. The house is directly on Cedar Lake, so I can imagine in the summer months how fun it would be with plenty of space outdoors! We had a small snafu and managed to get the car stuck in a mound of snow on the way out of the driveway. Mark was prompt in responding with plow service help and even sent down a local contact to help check on us. Overall we would love to come out and stay again!!
This house is as advertised and the location is perfect! We golfed all weekend long and this house made it the perfect location to come back to after the rounds!!
We stayed at this beautiful home in July and had a wonderful experience. From the booking process until our check out everything went seamlessly. Mark is a great host and the house and all of its amenities were awesome. It was very clean, spacious and the beds were super comfy. Everything you would need for cooking was there and the spacious fridge held everything we brought to cook for the three days that we stayed. We rented a pontoon boot and it was docked for us when we got there. The lake is gorgeous and just big enough to have a great time exploring and swimming at the sandbars. We are already planning our stay for next year adding additional days as we had such a great time with our friends.
This was EXACTLY the week we were hoping for - relaxing, comfortable, chill. The house was gorgeous and lived up to the listing; the lake was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing ducks, loons, geese and swans. We didn't have any young children with us but if you do, the goose poop might be troubling - they liked to meander across the lawn, which meant there was quite a bit of poop. But as I said, that didn't bother us since we're all adults who don't play on the ground! We're hoping to return next year - our group of 8 agreed it really met our expectations for a Do-Nothing vacation.
The place was amazing. Well maintained, clean, and a great location. this was our second year with family and we all had a great time. It was well supplied with daily needs.
We had a relaxing and refreshing stay! Beds and couches were very comfortable, any kitchen item we needed was available. And we were able to squeeze in some walks near the gold course!
Nice & spacious & clean. Kitchen was well stocked with all you need. 2 very large tv's (one in living room, the other in main bedroom). Ceiling fans in all rooms. Plenty of games & puzzles. Great working AC! Large back lot overlooking the lake (what an awesome sunrise)! The guys enjoyed the kayaks and fishing & walked across the street to golf! Mark was an excellent host and the communication with him was great! The smores kit he had was yummy to roast by the bonfire at night! Couldn't ask for a better location and place to stay! :)
We have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren....this was the perfect lake house for our annual week together. It was comfortable, well stocked (more than enough comfortable towels, bedding, paper products, kitchen stuff) clean, and stocked with many FUN supplies! We had the best of both types of water fun.....small lake fun, and big lake beauty (with a beautiful beach). And to top it off....there is a golf course across the street!
The house and amenities were great. The property is huge so it was great to be able to set up multiple yard games. The kayaks were our favorite part and really enjoyed the beautiful lake to use them on. We got to see a family of swans as they came right up on the property while we were around the fire pit.
We will definitely stay here again if available for our dates next year.
Also want to say that Mark was amazing with his communication, he responded very quickly to any questions we had.
