Sunset Ridge est un endroit merveilleux pour un camp ou une retraite dans une église, une réunion de famille, une escapade d'entreprise ou une retraite pour les jeunes. Un bel emplacement boisé amusant sur plus de 5 hectares avec piscine, bain à remous et accès au lac privé de 13 acres réservé aux propriétaires. Nous avons une grande salle de réunion, idéale pour les louanges et le culte ou les réunions.
Magnifiques possibilités de loisirs en plein air, à seulement 3 km de l'entrée de la zone de gestion de la faune sauvage de Crockford-Pigeon Mountain, un endroit idéal pour la randonnée, les cavernes ou l'escalade. La ville rock est un lieu de bloc populaire et la grotte Petijohns est une aventure amusante.

Decent VRBO Rental - Columbia

I don't write many reviews, but felt this might be helpful for a future guest. I was fine with the stay, and it was cheaper than area hotels and such. There were some quirks I wish had been taken care of, however.The listing shows this property pin as beside the golf course (at least it did at the time of my booking). The actual address is toward the middle of town, close to Kroger. This was a little misleading up until the day of our trip.It was myself along with two colleagues that stayed in town for a conference: aka - none of our wives were with us. The property wasn't as clean as I imagine our wives would have been content with (bathrooms, beds, etc). The beds were missing some sheets as well as we only received towels and not wash cloths for hygiene purposes.There were other odds and ends that were slightly off, but overall we made due with what we brought with us/a dollar general run which we would have made anyway. I would more than likely stay there again, should I not find another option better in the community.

Annual retreat

We’re a group of 15-18 women who come stay every February for a long weekend of yoga. Chuck and Melissa go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. This was our 4th year at Sunset Ridge and we plan on many more!

The best youth retreat spot

We returned for the 4th year in a row with a church group of teenagers. So many beds, plenty of outdoor space, indoor common areas for games and meetings.

Lovely softball weekend

We had 22 teens and adults stay here. We had a lovely time. All of our meals were able to be cooked, they had a slow cooker and blackstone. It was clean, easy to leave for when we checked out, and we had a slight inconvenience with septic, but they came over and took care of it right away. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway for groups

Sunset Ridge is a beautiful, quiet place to have a church youth retreat. This is our second time here - the first time was in the winter. This year we wanted to be able to swim and kayak so we scheduled it for summer time. We had a great time! Perfect fit for our group!

Sunset Ridge new driveway

Great place for family gatherings, plenty of beds ,bedrooms , bathrooms, gathering rooms . The host are great, and we were surprised to find the driveway is now cement in the lower step grade area .

Great as always!

This is the third time that we have rented this property for our ladies retreat, and all three times it has been a wonderful experience. The property owners could not be nicer people and the home and amenities are top-notch!

Great place to stay with a large group

We have a large group in town for a family wedding. We were all able to stay in this one property. We had one guest in a wheelchair. It was manageable, but not convenient, several stairs to maneuver. The driveway was recently partially paved. The switchback driveway should be mentioned in the advertisement. We had plans to taking a bus from the property to the wedding, which wasn’t possible with this driveway, minor change of plans, but again if the driveway situation was in the advertisement, we could have planned accordingly. Great host interaction, came by to check on us. All in all, for another large group event in the area, we would use this property again.

Great Retreat Space

This is our second time staying here. It is the perfect place for our guys youth retreat. Plenty of room and beds. The kitchen and eating space is big enough for everyone. The teens love the hang out space and games that are available. We loved it!

Great winter retreat

This location was perfect for our church's annual youth retreat. Plenty of beds, room around the dining tables, seating for everyone for group activities, and room to spread out and play games. Ideal for a youth retreat! The kitchen was roomy with 2 full size fridges so we had plenty of room for food storage, prep, and serving. It was in a quiet and peaceful setting. We hope to come back next year!

Great for kids

Kids had great areas both inside and outside to play and hang out and sleep. Great dining area. 2 stoves, 2 refrigerators, 2 coffee pots and lots of utensils and dishware were appreciated. A little lacking in cookware. Adults would have enjoyed a couch and more seating area by the fireplace and kitchen. Downstairs couch needs replaced. Lots of towels and blankets available. Hosts were accessible and helpful. Wood and concrete floors. One bedroom is only accessible from outside if you like privacy. Lots of natural venues closeby. 15 mins from grocery store. Had a great time and would do it again.

An Amazing Place!

We were so happy at the size of this home. We are a big family!! We had plenty of room and there were lots of activities to keep everyone engaged and talking! The kids loved the outside swings, pool and especially the hot tub!! We are looking forward to booking again! The owners were just the nicest folks!! Thanks again for sharing your home!!!

family at the 4th

Beautiful area, fun for hiking. Only worries were the wasps. Alot of nests and several people got bit. Bug spray present so we used it to kill some nests. Poole was wonderful. Hot tube was not working adequately. got quite cloudy but we did not report it. I am sure they would have been right down. Hosts were very attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful time in home, was very adequate for all our needs.. Game room was a winner. Thanks for hosting us.

Yoga retreat

This was the 2nd time I’ve hosted my annual yoga retreat at Sunset Ridge and we’ll continue to come back every year as long as they’ll have us! Chuck and Melissa respond quickly to messages, the property is beautiful, the setting is serene, the lodge is clean and well stocked with extra bedding and towels, and the kitchen has everything we needed to accommodate cooking for 14 people all weekend. I’m already looking forward to next year!

Great weekend

We brought our young adult group from our church. There were 20 of us and we had plenty of room. Everyone was able to do what they wanted and when we all gathered together, we still had room. Some went fishing, the game room was fantastic, huge TV, couch was a perfect napping spot. I definitely recommend this house for any large group! Everyone is already wanting to come back this summer to enjoy the pool.

Winter with extended family

For our family of 6 adults and 12 children, this was a great location and we would definitely consider returning. The host was prompt and very helpful with our questions, the hiking in the area is perfect for all ages, and our boys loved the fishing opportunities. Thank you for such a fun week!

Good stay

The property is good and accommodate many people. Pros: Spacious Many activities for the children Many seating arrangements Great lot Electrical fire-pit was a must Jacuzzi works very fine Lake was equipped with kayaks and life jackets Enough towels and bedding sheets Cons: Needs upgrade on kitchen utensils (no good cutting knives), need new pans etc... Fridge was not clean inside and smelled. Although very spacious Unfortunately there were mice (small rat) inside the house. By the big lounge couch area, in the bedroom outside and in the bedroom next to the lounge area. We saw about 3 rodents. Blankets were more like a throw/ small blanket and not enough for my party of 25. We contacted the owner for 2 issues we had: 1) Some folks on the lake harassed us saying we were not allowed to join the lake. The owner immediately came down (she lives in the property) and clarified to the other folks that we were welcomed in the lake. A bit of a commotion between them and some people of my group. 2) Mice situation. Owner came to the property to put mouse trap. She was very apologetic and in charge. Overall, despite everything we enjoyed and stay and we will go back. I just wanted to write an honest review. Thank you!

Lovely Place to stay for large group

This is the second time coming back here. This place is big enough to accommodate people from 18 to 30 people! A big gathering room and plenty of seating for dining! Wifi was working well for our large group. They also have a hot tub that can fit at least 6 people and a pool for summer! We will definitely come back!

We bought Sunset Ridge in 2018 and have renovated it to accommodate groups. It is in a beautiful location, next to Pigeon Mountain Crossing, our larger Retreat.The two combined can host groups with up to 120 guests so it was a perfect addition.
