Such a great house with an incredible view. 3 stories, very roomy, well appointed kitchen and a deck you could live on. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a beach stay. We spent 4 nights while we celebrated the wedding of our oldest daughter. I would stay there again!!!
We had a few couples stay at the home for a wedding we attended in Sea Isle. The home itself is beautiful and well appointed. The beach view from the home was gorgeous and it was easily walkable to the bars/restaurants. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!
We had an amazing girls' weekend in Sea Isle. The property is in a fantastic location, the house itself is beautifully maintained, and our host could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and hope to return soon!
We enjoyed your home so much. Everything was perfect! We loved how close the beach, the restaurants and bars were. All in walking distance. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
You truly canât beat the view! The house was the perfect setup for my family (infant and toddler) and parents with each of us having our own floor. It was stocked with everything you needed (kitchen and beach). I loved being able to watch the sunrise in the morning and listen to the ocean at night while relaxing from the living room. Great location to beach and short walk to restaurants. If you do have small children just beware of the stairs. They do have a baby gate on the middle floor but if you have rebellious babies/toddlers come prepared. Other than that we absolutely loved it and canât wait to go back!
The location was great however when we arrived the house was not well cleaned and we got a cleaning service to get cleaned. There was sand and dirt on the kitchen countertops. The utensil drawers were filthy. The listing advertised an outdoor shower which was unusable and dirty. The bedrooms had broken shades and poor lightings. The owner was unaffected by our complaints. She said our standards were too high. Sea Iske city was a great vacation town however I would not suggest renting this property.
This house met all expectations from the listing, and more! It is even more beautiful in person. There are many bonuses for families,
especially with kids, like an extra stroller for walking the promenade, beach toys, chairs, caddy. It can be hard to find a shore house where I can sleep on the same floor as my young children, this house was perfect for that. The kids room had blackout shades- my 3 & 5 year old napped every day we were there! The location is perfect, promenade access but on the quiet end. Still walkable to everything. Note for off-season stays that if you arenât there during trash pickup day, you must to take it to the dump. It was not a big deal as we were only there for a few days and the dump was very close. Would love to stay again during the summer season.
Just finished a lovely week in this very pretty house. Really nice property and great location.
Views are really more magnificent than the pictures capture. Woke up every morning to spectacular sunrises on the large ocean front deck.
Super easy access to a really beautiful and family friendly, quiet beach. Easily walkable to most of what Sea Isle has to offer.
Owners are really responsive and the property is is great shape and well-stocked (minus things they note like linens, and a few other small items which are easy to bring.)
My only knock is I really wish they would get some simple blinds or even sheer drapes in the family room area. It would help with privacy at times, when the neighbors are also hanging out.
Seems an easy fix and wouldnât block the stunning view, as one could choose to keep them open.
Ditto drapes on the downstairs bedrooms to block out the street lampsâ light. That was my mother and sisterâs only real complaint. It was too bright.
Itâs renovated and lovely. Does have stairs as others have mentioned. It was ok for our group, but could pretty be challenging for someone with mobility issues. Had my two year old nephew with us and he was fine with them, and we didnât use the baby gate provided.
Very happy with this house and had a wonderful vacation!
This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and it was just as great! Clean, walkable to everything, and beautiful views! Canât wait to go back next year :)
First time stay in Sea Isle City, NJ. - Expected More for the price!
Pros:
- Property is ocean front with a nice promenade directly in front that goes a few miles (nice for walking, jogging, bike riding, etc.).
- Great location, outside of all the hustle/bustle but close enough to get to anything needed.
- Very nice deck (however bumper to bumper with all other places and little to no privacy).
Cons:
- I have stayed in places from east to west coast and have never stayed anywhere that did not provide sheets/towels?? Though explained to me "locals don't want to pay extra for them to be provided", at these prices why would you have to pay "extra??" I came from out of state and though it crazy that we had to "rent" sheets/towels for guest and ourselves.
- 3 level home which means lots of stairs to climb.
- Place needs blinds on windows. It is so close to neighbors and surrounded by glass that at night it's like being in a fishbowl.
- Garage door keypad did not function which meant going up front steps, into house, down basement steps to open the garage; then closing garage and going back up steps to get into the house. This was every time you left the place. The maintenance guy was contacted 2x but never showed the whole week we were there.
- Several window openers were not functional.
Regarding beds:
- They are not "queen" but "full". A queen bed is 60" x 80" and these are not that size.
- The 2 master rooms (we attempted sleeping in both), have horrible beds. The 1st floor master box spring is totally dilapidated which causes the bed to tilt.
- The finale? The HVAC broke down! Though responded to quickly, it could not be fixed quickly so the last 3 days were spent with no HVAC. Luckily it had cooled some, but it was still humid.
Amazing view from the balcony and great location in sea isle. Quiet area, beautiful, updated home. Jami was very helpful and available if we had any questions.
My family enjoyed nearly a week at this ocean front home during the holidays. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and even a sunny winter day on the upper deck over looking the ocean. Nice centralized floor plan for hanging out, with bedrooms above and below. Great large table for meals and games. The new master suite bathrooms are very nice.
Stayed for a long weekend in November. House had plenty of room for 7 guests. Ocean view was amazing with easy access to the beach and promenade. Would love to return in the summer.
I canât thank Jami and Matt for being so accommodating .. Their home is perfect for a large family.... plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and an outside area on every floor.
The bathrooms have been completely renovated... and they are spectacular...
The huge kitchen is appointed with EVERYTHING... and the views of the ocean ... from the living room and back deck ... amazing
We are looking forward to next year .
Our family spent a wonderful time during our mid-week trip. Things to note are many restaurants are closed early in the week during off-season. So, we had to cook many of our meals at the rental. Things could have gone better if the oven didn't smoke up the house (due to cleanliness) and if the grill actually worked properly (spent an hour trying to unclog gas vents but half of it still didn't light). Otherwise, everything else was clean. Great living room and dining room space for 7 adults and 1 toddler to eat and relax in.
The ocean views of this house are not given justice by the photos - you have to see it for yourself. It is also located on a quiet stretch of the boardwalk steps from the beach and a short walk to the main drag. The house was clean and neat and functioned very well for our diverse group of two grandparents, four adults, two teenagers, one toddler, and one infant. Just be aware that, as advertised, there are multiple floors and the staircases are a bit narrow which might be difficult for older guests, and make sure that you know you need to bring sheets and towels. We hope to come back and stay another time soon!
