Great spacious home

This home was amazing and spacious for 5 adults and 2 kids. Very clean. Great location and we got to save money this year and enjoy the water park in the neighborhood. Such a fun experience, lazy river ,food , water slide , alcohol drinks ,ice cream & more. I totally recommend.

Just as described.

Our second stay at Storey Lake. The property is great but the location is not convenient to main pool area. Not enough towels for our party but we washed often. Fifty dollars for grill use is too much. Nice overall for our group of four adults, two teens and two older kids.

Great for the summer….

I’d love to rent these in the summer so we could use the water park. The place was great! Very clean and stuff was very helpful when we needed them. The kitchen was not a full kitchen for cooking for the family. No pot pads, kitchen towels, or pots and pans needed. Only 1 of each. TheyBBQ was not hot enough to cook well. That could be replaced. The bathrooms could’ve had more towels for longer stays, but other than that it was great. We would rent again.

This place was great

It was first time renting through Vrbo the Rental was very clean . I would definitely rent again.Because of the spread of covid19 we had to cut our stay .the only thing I would say is I never got to talk to manager ever but I did talk to Deconova she was great at answering all our questions and making our stay really great I would like to say thank you.Hoping to rebook in future.

Short trip to Disney

My Family and I stayed here for it amenities and proximity to Disney. It is a great location getting to Disney is very easy and there is very little traffic. The townhome was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue I ran into was at Initial checkin it was a bit confusing. I was only given the house address and the GPS brought me to the side gate not the main entrance.There are several entrances to gain access It took a bit of driving around before I was able to find the Storey lake Main entrance.

Infested with ants

Carpets were filthy, some of the main lights in the kitchen didn’t work, stain all around the deck of the pool, and the absolute worst was the ant problem. We had to leave within an hour of checking in because the ants were so bad. They were crawling on our bags within the hour of checking in. Property management couldn’t do anything but get pest control in the following day which wasn’t acceptable. They promised a reimbursement for one night and did not follow through on their promise. We never went back to the house after leaving a hour after check in. We ended up staying at another resort for the week and lost out on our money for this stay.

We clean, sanitize, and conduct pest control treatments before each guest's arrival, in addition to regular quality control. Regarding the ant issue you encountered, we acted promptly by scheduling pest control the following day. We understand this wasn't the experience you expected, and we're sorry for any disruption to your plans. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Please know that a reimbursement for one night, as promised, will be processed. However, it's important to note that this reimbursement is for the specific issue you encountered and not for the entire stay since you chose not to continue with us.

Overall great stay

Overall a good experience. PROS - Location was great and the house was very nice and clean as well. Nice community with access to a pool and mini waterpark. No big surprises to detract from stay. Beds were comfortable. CONS - We had a full house of 1 guests and there was only 1-2 pillows per bed while the pictures showed much more. It should be mentioned that you will need more pillows if 1 pillow isnt enough. Wasn't too fond of all the signage regarding extra fees for leaving dirty dishes. I feel like if you want to make those kinds of threats, you should provide adequate dishwashing supplies to make sure the dishes are cleaned at ease for the guest. Only one batch of soap was left for us over a 3 night stay. Also, we got to the home a little early and asked if we could get in, and the host did not respond until just after 4:00. We waited in 105 degree heat outside the home for some time for no reason at all when we could have been inside as the house was ready to go. Again, not an obligation of the host, but it was frustrating that the phone numbers didnt work and communication wasnt there when we needed it. I would definitely stay again as now I know what to expect and could plan accordingly to make the stay a little more comfortable.

If you prefer extra pillows, it’s a good idea to bring some along. Lovely property with pool

We enjoyed our stay while vacationing in Orlando. The home was clean, nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable, and my family enjoyed the heated pool every day. It was also a quick 15 minute drive to most of the parks. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. There does need to be clear check in instructions with an address given for getting access to the gate (it’s a gated community) since the gate that was closest to our home did not have a security guard/ check in and we had to figure out on our own where to go to get access to get in the gate. Also there were no pot holders or kitchen towels which I’d recommend be supplied for future guests.

Great location, room for improvement

Pros: great location close to main highways, shopping, dining. Unit itself was very spacious and easily accommodated my family of 6 with one whole room to spare, washer/dryer was very convenient to have. Great size pool perfect for my 4 kids, only 4ft deep which I appreciated. Private pool area with BBQ and seating. Unit was equipped with beach towels, bath towels, starter shampoo/conditioner/soap/toilet paper. Note these were starters. You will need to bring/buy dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, toilet paper and the like. Didnt need it but they had a playpen and high chair which would be convenient if you had infants/toddlers. Room for improvement: the unit was decently clean, white couch had a rip and a big stain, living room rug was curled at the ends, upstairs carpet could use a shampoo and the baseboards are so dirty with dusty, just wipe them down and it would look so much cleaner. Also, there was a hair (not ours!) in one of the bedroom linens, so I had to undo the bed and wash the sheets that first night. Cleaning staff should be more careful about that stuff. Communication with host was decent, via email. Check in process is confusing and it wasn't until we arrived at the actual unit that I had to contact them to ask how to get in. We also paid for the pool heater for 5 days but the heater kept going out and we only got 2 days of warm water. It was cold out so the heated pool was very much needed. We did receive a refund for 2 out of the 3 days the heater was out. For the 3rd day refund they asked for pictures of the heater...??? and then never heard back. Overall, decent stay. Would have been great if it weren't for those hang ups I described above.

Great Experience

The only real negative was the furniture was all glass and modern, looked great but practicality wise wasn’t the best with children. We luckily had glass cleaner in the car. Positives are the pool is a perfect size and depth for a couple kids, we loved the resort and splash pad for the 3yr old, beds were comfortable and rooms were spread out so sleeping was great. Location is awesome for Disney parks, SeaWorld and universal. We also went putt putting just a few miles down the road. Centrally located for great restaurants as well as delivery. House was clean, entering was easy, and I had decent communication with property manager. I would definitely go back. We had an amazing trip. Thank you!!
