Water's Edge a vraiment une vision d'un million de dollars. Peu de cabines pourraient offrir un si beau décor, dans le méandre de la rivière ELLIJAY et regardant loin en aval. 3 chambres avec lit king-size, chacune avec télévision, 2 salles de bain. Cour clôturée, Animaux acceptés. Géré par les cabines Sliding Rock. Pourquoi ne pas rôtir le S'mores dans le foyer en bordure de rivière, peut-être tenter votre chance à la pêche à la mouche, plonger dans le grand bain à remous ou simplement vous reposer toute la journée dans le hamac au bord de l’eau en écoutant les eaux apaisantes. Vous pouvez même vous diriger vers votre cabine ou chercher de l'or. Plus tard, blottissez-vous devant la cheminée à bois et regardez un vieux film. Quoi que vous décidiez, vous apprécierez la tranquillité et la quiétude de Water's Edge. Pas d'enfants de moins de 8 ans s'il vous plaît. Pas de chats s'il vous plaît.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is easily accessible with 2 wheel drive. The views are fantastic and match the pictures. The yard is large and well fenced for the three dogs we brought along. It is well laid out for pet owners. The gas grill was clean and ready to use. For me, I wish the couches sat higher up. It was hard on my knees. The kitchen is small if you are a cook, but you can make it work. Very relaxing and I would stay again.

This is by far the BEST pet friendly cabin we’ve stayed at in the Blue Ridge area! Perfect location, comfortable, and classy. Can’t wait to go back.

The river and view are incredible! Not a dealbreaker but the kitchen and third bedroom are tiny. It wasn’t a problem for us since we had a total of four people but if you have more, it would be quite “cozy”. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

April 2023 Stay

My family and I had an amazing time! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It did end up raining all day Saturday while we were there, but there was plenty of room on the back porch and inside for us to hang out and play card games. The cabin was very clean, right on the water, and had a fenced in back yard for our doggie. Definitely would recommend to others!

The staff answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, as small as they were, with promptness and kindness. The home is stunning. It was clean and well maintained. We love that they are so pet friendly. We enjoyed our three Pomeranians without being worried. The fenced backyard is such a bonus. We cannot say enough about the ambiance and view. We will make this an annual trip!!! We have encouraged friends and family to seek out this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have been loyal annual and at time semi-annual customers of Sliding Rock for a number of years. We keep coming back because of the quality of their managed properties and their service. In doing so, we often move around. This summer we elected the river and Water's Edge. Were I asked to describe this particular property I would have to choose EXCEPTIONAL, SUPERIOR, AWESOME, though none alone would give it proper credit. The house is clean, spacious, well-stocked, very comfortable with like new, quality appliances. Recent renovations were the "icing on the cake." And the locale - on the river adjacent to some beautiful, relaxing rapids. Being at the very end of the road, there was zero traffic and even with other nearby cabins, privacy was not an issue. Will we return? YES!!! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a "top-tier" getaway.

There are neighbors but the fenced in yard and cabin almost turn away from them so you still feel secluded. Very clean. Stocked kitchen. The drive was easy, but have some mountain driving skills as the road can be popular. Outdoor seating on the deck wasn't the most comfortable. Bring wood for the outdoor firepit, you won't regret it.

My suggestions would be a hummingbird feeder for the hummingbird we saw and also to clean the return air vent in Living Room - Its very dusty and filter very dusty. Otherwise met and exceeded our expectations. Also maybe a swing for the deck - something relaxing to chill in.

My family and I loved that we were able to bring our fur baby and that there was a fenced in back yard where she could run around not on a leash. The water was up pretty high from the rain, but we still tried to fish because we were right on the water! I would like to note that there are some steep portions to get to the mountain, but we were in a Ford focus and had no issues making it to the location, even with the rain. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin!

Example- majority of the outlets are loose and hard to plug things in without plug falling out. Outside was a bit of a mess- cigarette butts and ash all over outside + trash and cleaned up after dogs from previous renters. Outside scenery made it worth while and even with little things would stay here again.

Wow view! Soothing river noise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this cabin! The name Waters Edge describes it perfectly. The moment you get out of the car and hear the beautiful sound of the flowing river you are at peace. Yes it’s loud, but that is the whole point of renting a cabin like this! My son enjoyed fishing and even caught one smallmouth bass over our stay. We waded into the water a bit too. The firepit and hot tub were perfect places to sit and enjoy nature. The inside was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. Wi-Fi worked great our whole stay. My in-laws came with us and my FIL had the best sleep he’s had in a long time. We would definitely rent this cabin again!
