Late fall getaway in Rockport

Great location and host! Wonderful views all around from the decks and big windows. Delicious food options and eclectic shops all within walking distance. Quintessential New England coastal town with a lot of life and tons of history. We love the area and hope to return someday soon.

Fabulous Location

This is our 3rd time staying at this property and we will be back again! The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the view of Rockport Harbor and Motif #1 are incredible! We love that Roy Moore Fish House is right below us and we can walk down there to get fresh seafood any time. Eydie is a wonderful host and very accessible.

Rockport in October

Loved our four night stay in Rockport! We had a beautiful fall trip back to New England and thoroughly enjoyed our location as well as the warm, cozy accommodations on Bradley Wharf. The views, the sunlight, the ocean, the harbor, the motif, the decks, the town, the foliage, the shops, the restaurants, the lobster(next door), the Shalin Liu Performance Hall, the beaches, the hikes and so so much more! We plan to return again soon!

Great hostess, amazing location, great space and decks as you can manage the three flights of stairs. interior needs updating and a new mattress but overall place was great and kitchen is well stocked.

Harbor Hideaway

We had a fantastic stay! The location, overlooking a working fishing harbor, views of the water and outer islands on one side and Bearskin Neck and the Cove on the other side, and walking distance to shops and restaurants makes this the perfect place to stay. The unit was spacious and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door - you will not want to leave. We are already planning our next visit.

Fantastic!

This is the third stay for my husband and me. We love the apartment, the views and location. The 3rd floor apartment is very clean, comfortable and the owner is very responsive. Located in the heart of lovely Rockport, the location makes walking to nearby restaurants, shops, beach and entertainment easy. We will be back.

The accommodation was lovely, light-filled with views from almost every window. The apartment had all we needed to make meals. The deck overlooking the harbor was perfect for an evening glass of wine. We were grateful for air conditioning because we arrived during an unexpected heatwave. The host couldn't have been easier to deal with.

Little Slice of Heaven

The pictures did not do this place justice, because it’s better than advertised. Freshly renovated, and balconies facing both east and west. Perfect for both viewing sunrise and sunset over the water. Nestled away in the heart of Rockport, it’s easy to get to anywhere. We will certainly be booking again.

Beautiful views

This apartment has 3 different decks with beautiful views! Each deck has comfortable seating, very relaxing! The inside is beautiful too! The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, and the bed is very comfortable. The living area is comfortable as well with lots of large windows letting in the light and the views. We had a very relaxing time and would love to come back.

Great Views in Rockport

Great place to spend a long weekend over the 4th of July! Cozy for 2 people, with two decks, one looking out over the harbor, and one looking out at town. Spectacular views of fireworks in both directions and the bonfire on the beach. Just a few steps from great restaurants and shops on Bearskin Neck. Eydie is a great host, and we appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine, cold water, and AC (very humid weekend!). A little tricky to find, but such a sweet spot. We hope to return!

Wonderful weekend stay

You can not find a cozier more comfortable place to stay to take in the beautiful town of Rockport. Loved sitting on the porch looking at the harbor seeing the boats come and go. There’s a second porch overlooking the cute shops up and down Bearskin road. So many things to see and wonderful food not to leave out your right next-door to Roy Moores lobster shack, so easy to have lobster whenever you want. Highly recommend this apartment.

20th Anniversary trip

We loved this place, perfect location. The place was stock really well. The hostess was easy to get a hold of if needed. We even tried to extend our trip but couldn’t find flights. We will definitely be coming back to stay again..

Stunning harbor views!

The accommodations were simply beautiful. The place was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail was evident, from the bedding to the stunning harbor views outside our window—such a relaxing and beautiful home. Furthermore, our gracious host, Eydie, exemplified the epitome of hospitality—readily accessible and incredibly responsive. Location, location, location

We loved our Rockport vacation and the condo we rented. It’s our second stay and we were not disappointed. The location and views from this top floor condo are worth it. Situated right in town it’s close to restaurants, shops and the beach. Parking is an easy 10 minute walk. We will be going back.

Nice location at the heart of Rockport

This place is well equipped with nearly everything, we only missed a hairdryer. Bearskin Neck is a nice place for strolling around different shops and restaurants. The look from the roofgarden is great. The access to the flat is a little bit tricky but well described with lots of photos that guests receive upfront to their stay. The parking lot is some walking minutes away.

Absolute Magic by the sea ! 🌊

The last week was Absolutely life changing! My partner and I stayed at Eydies place in rockport on bear skin neck for a total of 5 nights and did not want to leave at the end of it Communication with Eydie was easy so was getting in the unit and parking is like a 5 minute walk and thats only if youre going on a day trip to salem like we did or heading over for breakfast at Georges in Gloucester the neck truly has it all The view Absolutely takes your breath away when you walk in the unit so much light and that is rain or shine Motif 1 is literally your backyard for the entire stay. Waking up and having tea and cofee on that first balcony off the living room is how I want to wake up ever single day she has Absolutely everything you need or want in the unit and you are right in the middle of all the action on Bearskin neck the people in rockport are so friendly the food is amazing our favorites were Fleur Cuinse for dinner the fudgery ( for fudge) and bearskin neck bistros lobster rolls for lunch I think we did every day not to mention the shopping soooo much shopping lol at the end of the neck the sunset on the ocean is beyond words and we enjoyed old garden beach which is a 5 minute drive or 15 or 20 minute walk that was recommended by one of the many welcoming locals I cannot wait to stay here again next year if you are thinking about staying here stop thinking and book right away you will not be disappointed i cant speak highly enough about this whole experience thank you

Perfect place to unwind!

We had the most fabulous time! Our goal was to unwind, and "re-set". The place was absolutely perfect! 75% of our time was on one of the decks - reading and either watching the boats or people watching. The rest was shopping and eating! Eydie's place is within walking distance from everything we needed. (Our best meals were at Fleur Cuisine and Fesco's Seaside for fresh, seafood.) The bed was super comfortable, and so was the couch. The kitchen had everything we needed, but didn't use, because of all the restaurant options. It took us a minute to locate the place, and Eydie responded within seconds to walk me through the it. She was amazing. We were there celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, and she remembered! We really had a fabulous time. Everyone was amazingly friendly - including the guy who serenaded us in Italian! A perfect getaway. We can not wait to return!

The Best Little Secret in Rockport

Incredible views, Amazing terraces, This cozy little gem has it all! We arrived from Boston by commuter train - an easy hour and 15 minute trip. A 15 minute walk brought us to our flat, perched above Rockport’s main “drag” and the center of shops, lobster rolls & ice cream. Despite the busy-ness and tourists over the Fourth of July weekend - we had complete privacy. Being three stories up gave us unrestricted views to the East, North, and West. The pitched rooftops around us were from two story buildings and offered us privacy from the streets below. We ordered lobster to go (whole & rolls) from Roy Moore’s - which is literally downstairs and next door - and brought them upstairs to enjoy on our terrace with a bottle of wine and the view of our choice (sun, shade, sea, harbor). Rockport is fantastic (local parade & bonfire to celebrate the Fourth)…is very walkable, with a great selection of boutiques, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Gloucester is a short Uber and home to great whale watching opportunities. We took full advantage of the property’s amenities - washer/dryer, kitchen, wifi, etc. The property owner is very attentive and quick to communicate/respond with directions and answers. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and local chocolates. We’re already seeing ourselves coming back to Rockport, and without question…we’ll want to stay in this property again!
