We have nothing but positives to say about the property. If you are looking for somewhere away from it all, yet close enough to the sea and resorts, this is the place for you. You will need a car though. The pool is clean, cool and a welcome relief from the summer heat.We had a couple of issues during our 2 week stay, but Angie was always immediately on hand and got them resovled in no time.Yes there are wasps, mosquitos, ants and all sorts of other insects aplenty, but when visiting rural Portugal, it's to be expected. We would recommend visiting some of the islands of the Ria Formosa. We got the ferry from Olhao to Culatra and to Armona. Absolutely stunning beaches with beatiful white sand, Turquoise crystal clear water and fish everywhere. We also went dolphin spotting with Pudim Real Boat Tours from Faro, and woudl recommed.
A beautiful property tucked away on an idyllic hill side. It has everything you need or want for a break away from the drudgery of life. The pool is exceptionally good and most definitely needed in the heat of summer. Angie is a fabulous host and James was equally as helpful. Would highly recommend.
Lovely house with lots of space and a great pool for adult kids (and paddling pool for small ones) Good to be up in the hills with a breeze when it's hot, but easy to get to Olhao and Tavira for great food, shops and ferries to the beaches. Angie was very communicative and some late night arrival provisions were hugely appreciated.
We had a lovely stay at this delightful villa. Lots of space inside and outside, with a fantastic pool. We used the BBQ a lot and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Barranco de Sao Miguel area. Angie was a fantastic host - thank you once again!
We had a nice stay at the villa. The pool is a really good size and we were glad that we paid a bit extra for it to be heated. Angie was a brilliant host and was always on hard to respond to any queries. It would be helpful to have a folder at the villa with emergency contacts for local drs, pharmacy, dentist etc and more information on the local area (e.g places to visit and recommended places to eat out). As mentioned in other reviews, the villa could do with some updating. The patio furniture is quite old and weather beaten. The bathrooms need updating with more efficient showers. As the villa is in a rural area, you can sometimes hear nearby animals but it is mostly a quiet and relaxing location. We managed to visit a few places in the Algarve. The villa is in a less touristy part of Portugal which suited us well.
This villa is one of the best weâve stayed in. The pool is lovely and thereâs even a lawn area to sit in the shade. We had lots of fun evening meals outside. The villa itself is in a peaceful spot and much larger than you expect with comfortable bedrooms and a large sitting room. The area has lots of interesting place not just beaches. Honestly weâve had a wonderful family holiday and I donât think we could have found a better place.
We have had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa , very private and peaceful . Fab pool and outdoor space to chill with a glass of wine and star watch .. inside was very spacious and comfortable with all you need including a comfy bed đ. A great little cafe with drinks and snacks is only a short walk away and of course all the wonderful places to visit in the Algarve are within easy driving distance . We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the charming , welcoming Quinta las Pedros and finally I would like to thank the host Angie for having us all xxxx we would love to return .
We felt very fortunate to be able to stay in this very private villa with a superb pool and outside space, overlooking fantastic views across the valley.
A very comfortable traditonal farmhouse, with everything you need for a great holiday.
There is a small, friendly cafe bar a short level walk away. Very central for all of the Algarve's hot spots. Angie was excellent at accommodating our change of plans and her communications were outstanding, quick to respond and always friendly. We loved meeting Pedro the gardener on his tractor and David who was super friendly.
Thankyou for a lovely stay in Portugal
Lovingly converted farmhouse in very quiet area. Beautifully clean villa with all amenities, fantastic pool and outside area with gorgeous mature and well kept gardens. Would love to come back again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful villa, we had a fantastic relaxing family holiday.
Absolutely magical place to stay full of charm and stunning views! The pool was so lovely and the house had everything we needed. The communication was great and we couldnât recommend it enough! Thank you for a truly magical holiday!
I am Angie, I bought our Quinta (farm) in 2004. It took us about 3 years to get our house ready for rental. We have been renting now since 2007. Prior to having our Quinta we had a property on the coast which became too busy for us. We love being where we are and manage to visit our house about 5/6 times a year. Prior to retiring I flew with a major airline and when in England we live in the Cotswolds
We wanted to get away from the crowds and this farmhouse, tucked away in the real Portugal had everything we wanted. We love the view, the tranquility and the people.
Our house is cool in the summer with its thick stone walls. We have lovely breezes in the summer and azure skies. We can walk to our coffee bar and sit and watch the world go by, we can visit a local restaurant and eat freshly caught fish. We can stay at home and swim, sunbathe and then when the sun goes down, switch the pool lights on and stargaze whilst we have a drink. Will we eat out, we will barbeque, perhaps we will eat in,? It does not really matter. We just love to unwind............... we hope you will too.
