Le Wine Down Bungalow sur le lac Seneca garantit votre intimité totale avec 1 place de parking exclusive pour votre séjour. Le bungalow est un appartement complètement séparé de la maison principale où vous recevrez une entrée de clavier exclusive pour déverrouiller votre chemin vers un bungalow de style spacieux. Le Wine Down a une combinaison baignoire / douche et un placard avec draps / serviettes. Coin repas pour deux, kitchenette comprenant mini-réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, four grille-pain, Keurig et variétés de kcups et thé. Le coin salon comprend deux chaises à coussin pivotant pour regarder la télévision et se détendre. Un lit queen-size confortable avec oreillers et draps supplémentaires pour votre confort. Pack and play disponible sur demande.
Le bungalow est idéal pour les particuliers qui souhaitent profiter de la région FLX et de toutes ses offres. Nous sommes dans un emplacement parfait pour de nombreuses caves et points de vue sur le lac. Moins d'un mile sur la route est la marina de Roy où vous pouvez louer des kayaks, des planches à pagaie et des bateaux pour la journée. De plus, nous sommes à moins de 5 minutes en voiture du centre-ville de Genève et de nombreux restaurants à explorer pendant votre temps. *** Remarque: Cette location ne vient pas avec accès au quai / lac si la maison principale est louée. Nous serons heureux de permettre l'utilisation du quai et l'accès au lac lorsque la maison n'est pas louée. N'hésitez pas à consulter le site de location de maison principale, son appelé Wine Down Retreat sur le lac Seneca.

Great Location

Close to town, restaurants, and wineries. The unit is in a converted garage behind the main house with a DIY vibe that's basic, but functional. Nothing fancy, but comfortable.

Overall 4 stars - pluses for owner communication, location, parking. Minuses for kitchen counter layout, uncomfortable LR chairs and a way too big and heavy coffee table. Fantastic location on the west side of Seneca Lake and close to Geneva, NY.

Great Eacape

The property was as expected… the (shared) dock was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Seneca Lake. We were lucky that the “big house” was not occupied, as the lakefront would not have been nearly as nice with others around so close. It was perfect for us to come and go while visiting friends and family, would stay again. Owner and Manager were perfect.

No Water view but access

From the photos that were on the listing do not show you what your actual view is. You are staying at a repurposed garage that is very nice that isn’t the problem. But I thought we would have a lake view. What you actually see is the main house and no view of the water. The listing in my spouse and I is very misleading. I sat sometime on this review before writing It because I hoped my opinion would change. Unfortunately it didn’t. If you want to have a place close to the water this is the spot if you want a water view this is not. Overall had a great stay but the deception of having a view really hurt my opinion of this place.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay in Geneva. The Wine Down Bungalow is clean, spacious and perfect for a few nights away. We had the dock to ourselves for the solar eclipse. Great space to stare out onto the lake. Our first morning, the shower water did not get hot. The owners were quick to respond and it was fixed immediately. Very responsive and easy to deal with. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay about a ten minute drive away from the center of Geneva.

Needs updating

Needs updating because several things are broken, paint job is shabby, linens are poor quality, the bed mattress is very soft and sinks in the middle, One window will not lock and a shade needed re-stringing in order to work. Otherwise the place has potential if upgraded.

Cozy getaway

This is a great place for a quick getaway to the lake. The bungalow is basically a renovated garage which is very cool but also a little small. But, it was perfect for me and my boyfriend for a couple days. Stephanie was very nice and communicated quickly with me. The dock is absolutely beautiful with really nice Adirondack chairs. There is a larger home that has more access to the property which was disclosed in the description. I was completely okay with being able to have access to the dock. It is next to a railroad which was surprising but you can’t hear it at all at night. Overall I really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, it was clean, has AC, and plenty of room for a quick couple nights on the lake. Definitely recommend!

If you decide to stay in the “bungalo”, there are some things you need to know: 1. It’s not a bungalo, it’s a tiny studio apartment above a garage 2. There are some steep steps going up to the place, and the chairs are very uncomfortable. 3. You DO NOT have a view of the lake. All of the pics of the lake are from the view of the big lake house. 4. There is no cable and the roku remote is broken, but you can use your phone with the roku app. Basically, it’s a bit of false advertising going on here. Not worth the price.

Hello friends, my name is Stephenie and I am the proud owner of the Wine Down Retreat and Bungalow on beautiful Seneca Lake. My family and I are long time residents of upstate NY and love the (FLX) finger lakes region! Spending time relaxing, unwinding, and socializing while enjoying a favorite bottle of wine around good family and friends is one of my greatest joys. When I'm not doing that, usually you can find me busy and involved with my three children and their sports and activities. I really enjoy coaching, physical activity of all kinds, and cooking. On the weekends I enjoy local races of some sort, a fitness class, or enjoying a new restaurant anywhere! My career in real estate allows me to see the offerings a home can be for others and for that, I'm so happy to share some of our home with all of you.

Seneca Lake is special to our family and why we chose to purchase here. We have been annual renters ourselves every summer on the lakes since our children were born and looked forward to that vacation year after year. Our decision to make it a permanent purchase was to be able to share our excitement of the FLX region with all of you.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The Wine Down Bungalow on Seneca Lake is unique in that it sits apart from the main 4 bedroom home, Wine Down Retreat, as a spacious and separate guesthouse/apartment with many amenities and privacy. This is an exclusive bungalow with its own parking. It is rented separately or can be combined as part of the main home rental for extra family members who may require more privacy while renting the larger home. This bungalow has its own bathroom with shower, kitchen, wifi, secure keypad access, and much more. Come on down to Seneca Lake and let us host you. **Note: the main home (Wine Down Retreat) is a much larger rental for guests too. We allow bungalow guests shared use of the dock only during their stay with those renters.
