We spent a blizzard weekend in this unit and were very happyâŠthe power never gave out, although the dish network did. We knew food might be an issue so we arrived with enough food for the stay. Only one place was open serving dinner in the village. We had a plumbing problem which was fixed immediately by the maintenance crew which was impressive under the circumstances. As we have rented here for many years, we were familiar with these units and they are all nice. This one was typical: very nice, comfortable, up to date. It had its own pack n play, which we didnât use because we brought up two pack n plays, but if weâd known we would have brought just one. We turned one of the bathrooms into a baby bedroom because the two small children in the same room would wake each other up and that worked just fine.
Thereâs nothing like being cozy inside and watching a fierce storm outside, drinking hot chocolate and playing games.
It was a very good property. Very clean and organized.
Only one thing though there was an issue with internet. Internet was not working. There was some sort of internet upgrade in whole building.
We had a wonderful time at Northstar and. Truckee. The condo had plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and other little necessities. It was centrally located between Lake Tahoe and downtown Truckee and Donner Lake. Best of all. It was right at the top of the village at Northstar with easy access to the gym, pool, hot tubs, restaurants, shops, movie theatre, gondolas etc.
The property was fantastic and the location was perfect. The Village was a great for family of all ages. Easy access to Kings Beach and town. Also, very close to Hwy 80.
