We visited the Zoo and Science Center and thought the location was perfect. Plenty of places to stay for our big family and had everything we needed to have a great stay.

This place had everything and anything you could possibly need. It was uniquely decorated and every room was conversation piece. It was very well stocked and plenty of room and beds for everyone. Host as wonderful to work with.

Amazing house!!!

This was one of our favorite Vrbos ever! Such a cool house, every room has its own theme, cool vintage furniture, and tons of beds and space. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay and fantastic host

Erik has a great home that accommodated all of us with plenty of room. Erik was also a very responsive and attentive host. He gave us a tour of his home upon check in to ensure we have everything we needed for our stay.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this property to anyone in its current condition.We stayed the end of August 2026 for one night out of our six scheduled due to multiple safety and health concerns about the property.The house had not been cleaned.It had significant clutter everywhere.There was thick dust on the furniture,the floors were dirty, black mold was on the shower curtain and in the shower,and it has a musty/moldy odor thoughout.The air conditioning was unable to cool the house adequately,and a smoke alarm that we could not reach,chirped through the night.The dryer vent was disconnected which left a hole for critters to enter, A mouse ran down the upstairs hall after eating part of a snack bar left for us in each bedroom The outdoor area had broken wood, exposed nails/screws and rust on the bottom of the weathered pool.These issues created health and safety concerns for us and our children. The steep stairs leading to the basement are worth noting for young children and anyone with mobility concerns. *After seeing bed bugs in two of the beds and having one of our family get significant bites we notified VRBO of the issues and left the premises. Although the host was kind,pleasant and very apologetic,and had come over three times to address issues,it is unfortunate that the condition of the property was beyond what kindness could compensate for.We have strongly encouraged the owner and VRBO to address these concerns prior to allowing further guests at this property.

A welcoming spot that's close to everything.

We were at an event in Tower Grove Park and the 2mi drive from here was easy. We also noticed we were close to many other area attractions. The host met us to show all the amenities at check in. The house has everything. Even if you forgot something, the house had it. Awesome stay!

Home away from home

This property was more than a home away from home. From the meeting with the host for a tour of the interior and exterior we were overwhelmed with his hospitality. He made everything manageable each area of the house was prepared for a comfortable stay. And so it was.....we are looking forward staying in this same home if available next year. 5 🤩

Amazing!

We had an amazing time celebrating 2 birthdays and one congratulations party for our new kindergartener teacher friend! Erik was very good at communicating with us the entire trip! The check in and out process was cake! He always gives great quality intros and quick tours upon arrival. He is kind and always makes sure to take good care of us. If there was anything we needed he made sure he accommodated us accordingly. The only thing we would change as a group would be a little bigger space in the back yard as it accommodates 24 people. Thank you Erik, another great stay away from home!!! We are already looking forward to the next one!!!

This home had plenty of rooms/sleeping sitting areas. Stocked with a lot of things you may need (just incase you forgot something) A nice pool. A place to sit in the backyard to enjoy your company. 2 bathrooms which is a plus when you have 10 people. Basement is nice with a projector screen, plenty of costumes and games to enjoy if the weather isn't nice and you feel stuck inside.

Bachelorette party

There were finger nails from previous guests on night stands which was gross, I asked the owner if it was a bad part of town and he said he never had no problems. But I do not reccomend a group of girls to stay here. It felt very unsafe. The local gas station clerk told us to get out stuff and get out cause it is not a place for us

Not quite as expected

The host was great and very accommodating. That being said- The pictures of the home are not indicative of the current condition of the home. The stairs are uneven and small, we had to go down sideways to avoid losing our balance. There is furniture everywhere, you have to move sideways through the dining area and a few of the bedrooms. My legs are bruised from banging into tables and the footboard. The bathrooms are small, if you’re over 5’2 you’ll be sitting sideways on the upstairs toilet. The backyard was not level and there are no lounge chairs to actually lounge near the pool. The pool has several patches along the bottom and the edges are rusty. Countertop in the kitchen is also patched up. The only consistent thing is the angel wings everywhere. The rest of the house is hodgepodged, a bunch of odds n ends kind of tossed together. The area is a bit sketchy as well.

A+ Property

My fiance and I rented this property for our bachelor/bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! There is plenty of space for guests to sleep and lots of living area seating for people to relax. Erik was incredibly communicative and hospitable. The check-in / check-out process was simple and quick. Overall tremendous experience and we hope to rent this property again in the future!

Awesome place

Haven’t seen a lot of out town family since before covid and my house isn’t big enough to sleep everyone so this bnb was perfect. Erik is super nice and knowledgeable and he had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

Erik was very responsive and the house had everything we needed and more. The downstairs shower was the most amazing shower I have ever had. Lots of room!
