We appreciate those comments and would like to provide some context regarding the concerns mentioned. Your stay occurred during a period of extreme summer heat, with outdoor temperatures reaching approximately 95–100°F. The air-conditioning system remained operational, and, as noted in the review, the home cooled as the extreme daytime temperatures subsided. Maintaining an indoor temperature of 68°F in an upper-level space during sustained 95–100°F outdoor temperatures can be challenging, even with a functioning system. Nevertheless, we take guest comfort seriously and continue to make improvements to maximize cooling and airflow during peak summer conditions. Regarding the garbage, we were not made aware during the stay that assistance was needed with trash disposal. Had the guest simply contacted us, we would have immediately provided instructions, a receptacle, or arranged an appropriate solution. Taking the trash elsewhere should not have been necessary, and this was an issue we would have been happy to resolve promptly if given the opportunity. Regarding the dryer, it was temporarily taken out of service because maintenance was needed during the busy high-season period. Rather than continue operating an appliance requiring attention, we chose to have it properly serviced. We recognize the inconvenience this caused and appreciate the guest’s patience while the issue was being addressed. We encourage our guests to contact us during their stay whenever something is not working as expected. Many concerns can be resolved quickly when they are communicated to us, and we always appreciate the opportunity to make things right while the guest is still at the property. We’re pleased that, despite these temporary issues during an exceptionally hot summer period, the guest found the home beautiful, clean, spacious, and well suited for their family. Like I told you, we had all the bedding and pillows but seems it was stolen from the previous guests. We strive to ensure all sleeping arrangements are properly prepared, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance. Your comments have been taken seriously, and we’ve reviewed our procedures to ensure complete bedding is available for every confirmed guest moving forward. Regarding the seating, we appreciate you pointing out the discrepancy in the listing. The seats were broken by the previous guest which we ordered for a new living room seat that on the way. We will review the photos and description to ensure they accurately reflect the current setup. We’re also sorry that the air conditioning and washer/dryer did not perform as expected during your stay. We are inspecting these items to make sure they are functioning properly for future guests. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, the shower pressure, and one of the bedroom fans, but we understand those positives did not outweigh the frustrations you experienced.
