We enjoyed our stay. We liked that they provided so many supplies that we needed!
We did have a problem with the hot tub. It did not work well and we contacted them and took a while to respond. And it never did get fixed. Kind of disappointed because that was one of the reasons we rented there.
This house more than served our needs. Great location-close to grocery, restaurants and wineries. House was neat and clean and beds comfortable. Chose this because of outdoor space. This outdoor area could be fabulous-just needs some maintenance repairs on water features. Owner said they were planning to work on that. What beautiful lighting at night and the landscaping was beautiful. In the middle of city but seems like you are miles away and it is very quiet and private. We hope to come back to visit relatives in the area again.
The property owner was very helpful and answered phone and txt. There was a large assortment of coffee pods, creamer, water and drinks in the fridge, also several condiments and freezer foods. The pantry is also stocked, many kitchen supplies. Plentiful towels and bathroom supplies, if you forgot to bring your own. The mattress on the king size bed is very comfortable. Our grandson, who is 21 months old enjoyed playing outside, mini golf and corn hole and watching the waterfalls. We grilled outside, the grill worked perfectly. AC worked perfectly and ceiling fans. There is also a variety of board games and a piano in the game room. We had a very nice time with our family, but my husband said not to plan another outing until our grandson is 5 or 6, he just wears you out! Ha! Thank you Alexy
This is a fantastic property. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us, but it can accommodate more. We really enjoyed just spending time at the house and enjoying the big back yard area. Everything about the home is comfortable. Lexy has thought of everything and she is a most generous host. She supplies so many things that most homes do not provide which was very helpful and allowed us not to haul a lot of items or have to run to the grocery all the time. She was quick to respond to email questions, and we plan to visit again. Thank you, Lexy for providing us a great escape during COVID!
Great Communication with Lexy! When things came up she would let us know and when we had a question they were answered fast and taken care. The property was taken care of well. We were in a neighborhood and when you were inside or outside in the beautiful yard you never knew that people lived right next to you! All the many things to do outside was great! Thank you for letting us stay !
Alexia was so awesome ... When we arrived the house was already for us with plenty of wine and supplies and Alexia decorated the house for my daughters 21st bday weekend. The property was a lot of fun and very clean. I would recommend this property for sure and plan on returning in the future.
Our short stay at the Gilligan Island house exceeded our expectations. The owner was very accommodating and easily available if needed. The kitchen was well stocked. There were many games and activities to keep us busy such as a putting green, corn hole, a jacuzzi and more board games than you could imagine. The house is roomy and had all the comforts of home. The back yard feels like you are in a tropical destination. We would definitely stay here again. Itâs a perfect house for family and friends to gather.
My name is Lexy, I am a single mother to a little boy named Drake. My father George and I are best friends and business partners and we are always looking for our next adventure. We own a construction company and over the last 30 years my father has tiled some of the most beautiful properties in Southern California. He is getting close to retirement and wants to travel while remodeling homes around the US. We recently transformed our family home in Temecula into a vacation rental that I manage. We have plans for two future rental properties, one at Pine Flat Lake near Fresno, California & one in Loup City, Nebraska. Pine Flat Lake has been our families vacation spot for over 20 years, I helped my father build our lake view cabin when I was 8 years old which is now known as "Gilligan's Island". Next up is Loup City, Nebraska where we are currently remodeling a home that was first built in 1894 and used to be the "pump house" for the small town. The basement of the home is walled with concrete and held the towns water supply where it was pumped out as needed. We are looking forward to completing our remodels and sharing our experiences with all of you. We are adventure seekers and we understand that people want a more unique experience versus staying at an ordinary hotel. We are anything but ordinary, so are our properties, so are our experiences and we appreciate the opportunity to share that with you and your family. We love creating memories and we ensure that you will make great memories while staying at one of our properties. Happy Traveling from our Family to Yours!
Our place has been our family home for the last 15 years. My father is getting close to retirement and wants to travel while I maintain the home as a short term rental property. We recently went through a remodel turning our family home into a vacation rental. We have enjoyed living here and have put a lot of love into the property, we want our guests to enjoy themselves while at our property. OUR PLACE IS GREAT FOR ENTERTAINING. The back yard features a putting green, a BBQ island with an outdoor fridge, multiple water-falls, a hot tub, a bon-fire pit, outdoor heaters, a big screen TV with a surround sound system! Our property is lush and green with many palm trees, tropical flowers and plants.
