We stayed at this tall condo for 3 nights in mid-February. We really enjoyed the funky aesthetic of the place! The check-in process was a breeze; the condo was warm, cozy, and clean; and the tiny kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids are of an age where they like to have a little distance from us (10/13), so having the two twin beds in the bedroom on the lowest floor was great. Probably the best perk of this condo is how perfectly positioned it is--it's a quick walk/ski/ride to pretty much everything! Thanks for a great stay!
This was our second stay at this townhouse (2016 previously) and were so excited to see it again when we searched. It's a great location to walk along the river path, to the gondola and Colorado Ave. The master is on the top floor and the second bedroom on the lower level which is great when traveling with older children.
The location was somewhat difficult to find. There was no street address or "Plunge Condominiums" sign on the front of the building. The instructions said the building was tan. It has been painted a different color. Once we found the place the stay was enjoyable.
We really enjoyed our stay in Telluride. The location was perfect: 5 min walk to the Gondola and downtown restaurants, 2 min from the main grocery store, and right next to the river walk leading to some of the mountain trails.
The condo is very convenient, not large but plenty of space for a family of four. It has an awesome view of Ajax peak. Overall very clean and practical for a summer vacation.
I loved the location and the set up with one bedroom on the 1st floor and 1 on the 3rd was perfect! We could both get up in the morning without disturbing the other. Having a deck was wonderful. Finding the place was a bit difficult. The instructions referenced tan buildings. The building is more of a blueish/gray. The front door does NOT lock and it sticks a bit. You have to really push on it to get it open and doesn't actually lock. I realize that Telluride is probably pretty safe, but being able to lock the front door is a security that we like to rely on. The shower heads in the upstairs bathroom were pretty terrible. No water pressure. The worst thing about this vrbo is the lack of curtains in the upstairs bedroom in addition to a skylight window. One thing that I look forward to on vacation is sleeping in. No such luck with the light shining in the windows. It was impossible to sleep past 6am. We were very active during the day and stayed up late some evenings, so getting less sleep than I do at home with a baby and work was extremely disappointing. I was exhausted the whole trip. The addition of some curtains, fixing the front door, and changing the shower heads upstairs would make this a 5 star spot.
Wonderful, clean condo with great views of the mountains especially at sunset and in a great location near town and gondola. I would definitely stay here again.
A couple of constructive suggestions on describing the location: outside color of condos is now blue and not tan as described in the directions I received and address was given as 663 W Pacific but there is no such number on the building (there is a 683) so should probably use 663-683 W Pacific since it appears the block of condos spans those addresses. It took me about 3 tries to find the unit since it's on a one way street and had to keep circling the block.
We enjoyed this property. Location is great, few blocks from downtown. Lots of windows gave much light and gorgeous views. Comfortably furnished. Floor plan is awkward with a tiny kitchen in a tight corner that is challenging to operate in. Also, two sets of stairs to maneuver. But we were comfortable.
Overall, we had a nice stay and liked the property, but a big reason we chose it is because we wanted to sit in the hot tub after skiing. After booking, the property manager told us that the hot tub was out of commission -- I wanted other renters to know that, since the listing still shows that a hot tub is available on site. Also, some of the electrical outlets on the north side of the building don't work.
