Three night stay for a family get together. House was accurately described, tastefully updated and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the layout of the home, fishing off the dock (catch and release), and the little beach area. We also had a nice walk in the wooded preserve just across the lake (load up on bug spray first!). The place is very conveniently located off of M115 and just south of the expressway/Cadillac area. Would love to stay again sometime.
We adored this little cabin on the lake. Quiet and beautiful lake with awesome sandy beaches. The house was perfect-well decorated with nice little touches to make it comfy and relaxing. We loved hanging on the deck and we took the paddle boat out for a spin.
Great place to unwind. Crystal was friendly and available when needed. Easy check-out instructions.
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at the lakeside cottage! Check in was easy, location on the lake was great. Cottage had everything we needed, bedrooms a little tight, but otherwise furniture was comfortable. Had a wonderful dinner on the outside deck using the grill. About one and a half hours drive for a fun day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leland. Wanted a few more days to relax and enjoy the lake. Would love to stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 5 ladies who taught together for many years- and continue to gather once a year for Posse Time.
We loved the deck, the sandy beach, and the kayak. We tried the paddle boat but
It didnât seem to have a working rudder. We had to jump off and swim to shore. Also; the lake we floated in was very mucky on the bottomâ maybe advertise to bring swim shoes . Overall it was beautiful and enjoyable
The location and setting was perfect for us. The lake was beautiful and accommodations were very comfortable for all. The weather wasn't the best, so we were unable to have a campfire or sit outside, but it was nice to have the chairs, grill, and firepit as an option. We really had a great time.
We had a very relaxing time. Was to short of a stay due to miscommunication. We all loved the house it had everything we needed. Towels were not properly dried, they were folded and put away damp. Iâm sure fault of cleaning people.
The cottage was just as advertised. Very clean, lot's of watercraft. Well stocked. Very responsive host to our questions. Our second time here. Maybe an annual tradition? Well done
The house and landscaping was even nicer than the pictures. The use of the kayaks, paddleboat and canoe was a nice extra. We did some fishing off the dock, went for the nature trail walk, and went into Lake City for dinner the last nite. We even used the basketball net to burn off the extra calories. It was also very nice that the house was stocked with necessities and use of the linens a plus also. Will stay again!
Super convenient location, great owner to work with, fully updated, clean as can be, had no problems at all. Had a great family time ice fishing & a short drive to Caberfae for skiing, would highly recommend!
We had a nice relaxing vacation visiting my family after being overseas for the last year. The weather even warmed up one day and we took the paddle boat out and attempted to fish but didnât catch anything, I think the lake is good for fishing but I am not lol. The colors of the trees around the lake were absolutely stunning. I was able to enjoy having my whole family visit and cooked a lot of great food in the well stocked kitchen. The appliances were modern and wonderful. There was some damage from a windstorm while we were there and the owners responded quickly and didnât make a big deal out of it and that Allowed for even less stress. This was a well needed relaxing stay.
We purchased this cottage with my brother and sister-in-law, who live on the lake. We live in Grand Rapids and have long enjoyed spending our free time on Stone Ledge Lake. We all admit we (even our teenagers) start to breath a little deeper when we make the turn onto E. 50th road, knowing we are about to arrive at our place of respite.
