This home is in a gorgeous golf course garden setting. It is a botanical oasis with an outdoor pool and jacuzzi that was enjoyed by everyone daily. It is luxurious walking distance ( 15 min) from coffee and shopping. Everything in this home fit our family perfectly, from the upstairs movie room, to puzzles to baking supplies and extra fridges. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. And the host was fantastic. We needed propane for the grill and he made sure we got it.

Les points faibles : Communication
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this home. The location is incredible and convenient to everything we wanted to do. It comfortably accommodated our group with plenty of bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a convenient laundry room, and a great pool. There were, however, a few issues. The upstairs master toilet needs repair, the back guest bedroom shower makes a very loud noise, the pool appears to have a leak, and the hot tub never got hotter than lukewarm. The stove was difficult to operate, and there were no instructions for the appliances, TVs, internet, or hot tub. We were told the appliances were new and a manual was being created, but most did not appear to be new.One evening we returned to find the pool overflowing with a hose still running. We were told the pool company forgot to turn it off, but the pool technicians said they hadn’t been there and that the pool has a leak. The biggest disappointment was the property management. Communication often felt passive-aggressive. On checkout morning, Richard arrived 10 minutes early, in the pouring rain, and began mowing the lawn, giving the impression he was making sure we left exactly at 10:00 a.m.The home itself is excellent. With a few maintenance fixes and improved management, it would easily deserve five stars.

Hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I will admit I got a little nervous right before our stay because there was a bad review left. They reassured me that it was a false review and everything was in working order. The home ended up being amazing! Everything worked, fully stocked kitchen with everything you’d need for cooking at the house. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Also stocked with pool towels and beach accessories if needed. Very accommodating on our check out day as we had a late flight. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great house and location for the North Kauai

Great house to manage a large group and a great location to head into Hanalei or Kilauea. The back yard landscaping makes you feel as if you are in a remote area. The property owner and manager, were very easy to work with. Highly recommended if you need a place on the north shore.

Wonderful experience!

The house was beautiful! It was very well stocked with amenities and it was very clean! It was a very nice neighborhood and close to some beaches. I loved the pool because it wasn’t as deep as some, and since I don’t do well in the water it was more enjoyable. Perfect size for children whose kids are small or not strong swimmers! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this beautiful home!

It was a great house for our family of 11. Lovely decor. Many amenities…well furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, extra fridge in garage, plenty of beach towels and toys. But they are getting kind of worn out as well as the outdoor metal Furnature. Understand sea air takes its toll on that A couple things broke down but we were able to fix and the gentlemen who helps maintain was very helpful and responsive. upon arrival owner purchased a new high chair and play pen which we unpackaged and put together. property does needs to be power washed and some of the windows need replacing. we managed just fine and would possibly stay here again if we go as a big group. A Great Hawaiian Getaway at Hale Aulani

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in Kauai. Host Richard and management representative Sue were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Their recommendations for local restaurants and activities made our Hawaiian getaway even better. The house was clean and ideal for our group of 11; there was plenty of space for both sleeping and gathering. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the fantastic pool and outdoor area became our favorite spots to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian breeze. Many thoughtful extras, like beach towels, beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, and bikes (even though a few had brake issues), made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, we had an unforgettable time in Kauai and recommend this property to anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a memorable Hawaiian experience.

Beautiful Home away from home!!

This home was amazing!! A true home away from home! There was plenty of rooms with bathrooms in each which was nice for cleaning up, and getting ready for activities. There was beach gear for almost everyone( chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas, etc.) big backyard, we hired musician and hula dancers that performed in the back, which was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances for everything and a bbq, and a fridge in the large garage, ( which we packed with all our drinks and larger food items) The property is very private and on a nice quiet street. All in all, we enjoyed this property ALOT! We will be coming back to this home very soon! And to top it off, the owner was very helpful from the moment of our interest to even after our stay, with lots of useful suggestions about the island. Thank you again for letting is experience the island in your beautiful home!

The best so far ....

Of the handful of VRBO rentals we have booked, this one ranks the best. The house and property were gorgeous, extremely clean, and well maintained. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and the second refrigerator in the garage was helpful. There was plenty of beach towels and equipment (e.g. beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler) that made our beach excursions very pleasurable. The small, font walkway pond with frogs provided nightly enjoyment along with the visiting neighborhood chickens/roosters during the day. The location seemed centrally situated to the Princeville area and provided walkability to Queen’s Bath. Sue Alluri (owner) and Thames Goodwin (local property manager) provided quick responses to questions prior to our arrival. Thames quickly addressed a few minor issues during our stay and provided useful suggestions on what to visit in the area. We all wished we could have stayed longer. A big thank you to Sue and Thames in making our two family stay memorable.

2/10 Horrible

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, emplacement
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de l’annonce
Horrible stay, when I contacted property manager Richard about the broken spa and cold pool, he asked what is wrong with driving to the ocean. 5 days later when I told him about the fridge leaking he said it doesn’t leak and that the non functioning tv works. I asked for a refund and if we could part ways and he demanded we leave at 8pm on thanksgiving eve, note we have 3 kids between 2 families and one pregnant woman in our party. Thanksgiving day, we attempted to cook our turkey but unsurprisingly, the bigger oven doesn’t work so we grilled the turkey, it was a disaster. The property highlights the pool and backyard area with the first 8 photos of the listing but was obviously not being properly maintained as by the time we had completed our stay the jacuzzi had completely drained leaving a white scum that wasn’t very appealing to look at. I’ve included a photo of the garage floor where ants were transporting maggots. Our group saw there was another issue with this homes a/c unit in August of 2024 and instead of fixing the problem, the property manager accused the guests of a variety of false accusations. This property is beyond incompetently run, that’s why I say RUN FROM THIS ONE!

We sent you the information on how to operate the jacuzzi and emphasize that you push the spa button. We have pictures showing you messed with the system. Before you arrive we sent you the pictures of property. The refrigerator is brand new. You send us text messages after five nights and try to contact you but send a messages saying leave me alone and not to bother you. We have videos of TVs working, took thermal images of refrigerators, Ac brand new system, all the burners and oven working. You never took the trash out and have pictures and video of this. We have submitted video’s , pictures, text messages from you to vrbo and to the lawyer for false information.

Surpassed all expectations

This is a phenomenal property! Our group of 11 (5 couples and a single) fit perfectly in the 6 bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are up to date. The open living area is very accommodating for a large group. Everything was clean and well equipped. The kitchen is large and has plenty of counter space. There are more than enough dishes for everyone. There is a large grill for cookouts. There is a wonderful covered porch adjacent to the kitchen. We loved sitting out there during breakfast or in the evenings. The property manager Thames was very responsive. (We were running low on propane for the grill, and he was there at the house within 15 minutes with a new tank 😀). He was also knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The house is 2 mins from the Princeville Shopping Center, and about 10 minutes to Hanalei. The neighborhood is a great place to walk and enjoy the morning or evening breeze. A word on the weather in July: the Princeville forecast almost always shows a 40-60% chance of rain. But most of this is at night, early morning, or consists of an occasional passing shower. It never affected our day trips or time at the beach. Princeville is about an hour from Lihue, so you have to build that into your plans. It is about 2 hours to Waimea Canyon. But there is so much beauty along the way, you should take your time. There is some traffic buildup around Kapaa, caused by road construction. In short, we cannot recommend this place too highly. It is perfect!

We are also grateful that you shared your experience communicating with Thames, who is always efficient and attentive to the property. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to host your stay and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
