Just needed a place to stay for the weekend while visiting friends for a Super Bowl party. The apartment had everything we needed and beds were comfortable.
Nice alternative to Palm Springs at a reasonable price
We usually stay in a hotel in Palm Springs, but we stayed here for a week so that we could have more space for telework and home-schooling, while also being able to visit relatives and see local attractions. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had a large balcony that overlooked a nicely-landscaped courtyard, with a view of the mountains. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, too. The dining area had a view of the windmills in the distance, which the kids loved. We were able to visit Joshua Tree, Mt. San Jacinto, the Palm Springs Zoo, and a few other attractions without much trouble. Being in Desert Hot Springs added about 20 minutes to most of our trips (versus being in Palm Springs), but it was well worth it for the extra space, privacy, and reasonable price of this apartment.
We had an amazing stay here. The place was decorated great and the king sized beds were an added plus! We also were grateful for all the amenities provided and were able to cook all our meals there. Highly recommend!
This is a clean simple two-bedroom place with everything you need. Basically a fully stocked apartment with two king beds, an office desk, and a chair, smart TV, app-controlled door lock, extendable kitchen table that can be used as an office table for 2 - 3 people easily. Very quiet sleepy neighborhood with nice working people. I walked around for my morning and afternoon walks and while there is nothing much to see it felt safe. There is a small convenience / liquor store walking distance away where you can get your toothbrush, drinks, food etc. The fridge can be a little noisy but monotonic and easily cancelled by noise-cancelling headphones. Dish washer can be a bit loud, but if you close the door to the bedroom you can sleep no problem (I'm a sensitive sleeper). There is a private outside patio with great views of the mountains. Neighbor has a very cool purple-lit pool. The place is very close to Joshua park, amazing Cabot's Pueblo museum and 20 min to downtown Palm Springs. Overall, great value, especially if working remotely for several days or even weeks.
Overall the property was kept very clean and neat and reasonably well equipped; we would have liked to see a bit more cutlery and crockery and kitchen towels in the kitchen.
Hi, My name is Ileana, I am the property manager for Chez Jardin Apartments. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. My job is to make sure our guests receive clean, comfortable accommodations during their travels.
This property is so serene that I fell in love with it when I first walked in. Its six apartments total and this beautiful desert garden in the middle. It is gated so the complex feels so private.
