The space was great and had everything we needed- just as stated. And the location was fantastic- lots of fun activity in the neighborhood, off street parking and an inexpensive uber in and out of the downtown. Couldn't have been more ideal!
Loved our weekend here ! We didnt know it was in the bishop district !! So many things to do and from walking distance will be back again :,) Although, the only bad thing i have to say the parking sucked đ just so busy so gotta hurry up with the parking, first come first serve type thing.
In just a few short minutes you are at the shops & restaurants! Host was easy to work with and parking helpful in a busy area. House was clean & kitchen well stocked. Nice touch by host to provide bottled water. It is a duplex and the walls are somewhat thin. At times it is possible to hear your neighbor or the tacoria across the street. Not a deal breaker at all; maybe just bring a sound machine & you will be fine.
This duplex was nice, clean and perfect location. BUT we were told beds were queen, one was a double. Trash from previous guests was still in house. Had to look for towels, then contacted host. Found them before he got back with us. Other side of duplex was a large party. We think a wedding party. Very loud and late nights comings and goingâs. Adjoining wall was non existent as far as being insulated or sound proof. Someone pounding on their door at 3 AM woke us all up and we were about to call the police. Neighbors never answered the knock (that went on for 15 min). The neighbors left the next morning at 8 and again, very loud and woke us up.
This was a great find for us. Two bedrooms, one bath, all on one level (if you wanted to enter without steps you could do so from the back entrance). There was plenty of off-street parking. The apartment was very clean and we met the housecleaner while she was checking the place next door (very nice person). We did not much use the kitchen, it's beautiful tho, and has Keurig coffee and some fixings.
I loved Bishop Arts and we walked out every day for breakfast and dinner. The shops in the neighborhood were great including a chocolatier only two houses away and a fantastic barbecue place a block the other direction (probably world's best brisket? idek). My only negative was that the cops spent a few hours at the minimart a street away to the front, and some bar in that area had a very loud band on Friday night. The noise/light related to those things would not be to everyone's taste. But for me this was an absolute 98% of 100 stay! I would happily come back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Yellow House! Very cozy duplex a block away from Bishop Arts District. Great location to shops, restaurants, and the night life scene in the area. Check in and check out was hassle free. We will definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful weekend.
This house is in a great location, very clean and the beds are so comfortable! It is such a cozy house-walking distance to everything you need-even though itâs a duplex we never heard our neighbors. We would definitely rent this again!
These hosts are terrific. Keep the place in good order, stock the home with essentials: paper goods, water and coffee, even basic shower staples. In unit laundry is great for longer stay and/or family travel. Walkable to food, fun and arts and craft shopping. Most of all: these may be the most responsive hosts weâve ever dealt with (itinerary changes, occasional questions re: alarm or hvac systems) Great place to stay for a relaxed Dallas visit
Cute little duplex that has been remodeled very nicely. It is an older home so the original floors creek a bit and you can hear neighbors but itâs part of the charm. You are within 2 blocks to tons of restaurants and shops and the train line is really close. Hosts were nice.
Great place to stay! I enjoyed it and would return if ever back in the area and needed an Vrbo. Easy check in and right next to really cool little bars and restaurants. Super clean and cozy. Greatly appreciated!
