Shelly's property was great! Very clean and cozy cabin. Shelly was very quick to respond and super helpful with any questions we had. The location was great right by boat docks and the beach.
We loved the location of the cabin and it was small but clean. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin and the homeowners responded very quickly.
Super location right on the lake. Note when driving that 2490 and 2492 are better GPS addresses. Not sure where and how one gets to 2491. The parking spot is in the two spaces next to Cabin 23 (reserved) and the cabin (one of three) is immediately to the left (the first one) to the parking area. I figured which of the three nearly identical cabins was mine by comparing the photo with that of the ones that I was looking at but this would not, in my view, be readily apparent or obvious. . The main building (admin for the lake residential community) is across the street and slightly to the left. Looks like someone's house with garage and parked cars so again not immediately obvious that this was the admin site mentioned in the in-house instructions and the garbage bin is around the back. Super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Good use of space so the smaller dimensions of the cabin actually seemed much bigger than it was. And it was right on the lake. Keep in mind that during busy weekends, the boat dock (marina) in front might lead to more conversations by boaters and fishermen. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for a great visit.
I am a high school graduate of Hayfield High School and currently live on Lake Miltona, MN. As a retired teacher, I have cherished summers on Lake Miltona when employed and now as a rental cabin owner.
Shellyâs Lake Viewâs close proximity to the water reminds me of my summers as a child on the lake. Hearing the waves lap on the shore, the loons call to mates and the laughter of children playing in the water is what makes my cabin special. There are so many opportunities to connect with nature.
This rental unit was part of Olstadâs Resort prior to 2003. My father, Bill Reese, purchased the property and sold off the entire Resort except for Cabin #23 and built the Commons Building for the newly organized group known as the MBRA ( Miltona Beach Resort Association). This rental has rights to all common spaces. 3 nightly RV rental spots with electric hook-ups ( these each include a boat tie-up spot on the dock) are available for rental by the day.
