Bienvenue à l'écureuil épicé! Belle maison de location sur le lac Nokomis, juste à côté du sentier de motoneige du lac Nokomis. Très proche des bars et restaurants. Cette maison est parfaite pour un séjour à Northwoods. Bénéficiant de 3 chambres privées et deux salles de bains complètes sur un terrain de 1 acre avec plus de 300 pieds de façade sur le lac. Cuisine complète avec appareils et laveuse / sécheuse. Grande salle avec des plafonds voûtés, grande surface, téléviseur à écran plat 46 pouces et un foyer à gaz télécommandé. Niveau inférieur a une chambre avec une grande surface pour les invités supplémentaires. 2+ garage pour vos véhicules ou motoneiges! Cette maison est à voir absolument!

Everything went great. Fishing was good. Weather was nice. Cabin was great as usual. Would like to book for the opening weekend next year, which is Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd.

Great location!

The house is very roomy. Right on the lake! We enjoyed fishing off the dock & watching the sunset from the deck. Close to restaurants, bars, ice cream shop, and gas station. We plan on staying there again!

Nice Home on a Beautiful Lake

My family and I stayed here in October as a nice fall color getaway. Even though the lake was low, it was still a beautiful property on a beautiful lake. We really liked the set up of the rooms too. One room is on a lower level than the other two with its own bathroom and shower and the other two rooms are on the main level with plenty of room between them so everyone had enough space and privacy in the home. The host had great communication and was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The layout of the house is good and the backyard right on the lake is beautiful!! It was a little noisier than I had expected, but with the music or tv on you couldn’t hear the intermittent road noise. Good location; near some fantastic hiking trails! Owner was available and replied quickly to texts.

Had to clean the grill before we could use it. Remnants of part hamburger stuck on grates with a whole burger stuck to the burners with mold growing.

Can't wait for next time

We had such a great time. Shawn made it easy to access the house and had everything we needed there for our stay. It is winter but we are thinking of renting it in the summer to enjoy the lake and deck! 15 out of 10 for sure! The Spicy Squirrel was the best!

Comfortable home base for any occasion

Clean, comfortable accommodations on a beautiful lake. Location is close to many restaurants and not far from other north woods destinations. Owner communicated promptly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning any season of the year after experiencing winter there. Right on snowmobile trail!

The cabin was perfect for us. It's a great location with 2 restaurants within walking distance. It's right on the snowmobile trail. Super easy to get to and a bunch of parting if you have trailers with you. This might be a new yearly go-to spot.

Late Summer Vacation

We had a great experience at this property. Shawn was very helpful and responsive when we reached out to him. Our kids spent hours on the paddle boat and fishing from the dock. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.

Fantastic

Stayed here with a group of friends for a week of fishing and had a blast. The house was very clean and perfect sized for our group of 8. The owner is very responsive and helpful with accommodations. The location of the house may be the best part! It is close to plenty of food, gas stations, an ice cream shop. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Situated in the back of a cove so the lake never really get rough on the dock for the boats. Best of all, despite the on and off rain all week, the fishing was great! There will definitely be a return trip here in the near future!

Great location!

We loves staying here! Located by restaurants but didn't feel busy! Perfect combo. Beautiful view of the lake, a bald eagle was across the street every day that we were there. The kids loved it especially the bunk beds!

We are a family who love the outdoors. Fishing, taking walks, riding bikes, snowmobiling, campfires, roasting marshmallows, kayaking, evening boat rides and enjoying the sunset on our deck on Lake Nokomis.
