With its conversion dating back to 1981, the residence exudes absolute beauty. Nestled on two picturesque acres in Greenville, DE, it offers proximity to various country clubs, golf courses, Winterthur, Longwood Gardens, excellent dining establishments, bars, Wilmington, and is just a 30-minute drive from Philadelphia.

We had a fabulous stay and all agreed that the house is perfect for entertaining a group! There is so much room to eat, relax and cook. All of the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The house was clean and very well equipped. So grateful we found this place for our girls weekend!

An amazing property!

Two adult couples stayed for a long weekend at this amazing property. The description set high expectations, and those expectations were exceeded. The decor is amazing and welcoming. There was an incredibly well stocked kitchen -- lots of basic supplies and top of the line equipment, tools and serving ware. The beds were super comfortable. Bed and bath linens are excellent. The neighborhood is tranquil. Plenty of parking. We hope to come back again some time!

Fabulous!

We had a fantastic stay at the farmhouse! We were in town for our son’s graduation from the University of Delaware. It was very easy to get back and forth from the festivities, with minimal traffic. The house is gorgeous, clean, and extremely comfortable! Kim is lovely, hospitable, and very quick to answer questions. I would highly recommend for any events at UDel or anything for that matter!

Girls weekend

My college friends get together periodically and this house was absolutely fabulous!!! Large, beautiful and spotless! A well-equipped kitchen. It’s close to all the wonderful things to do in the area -Brandywine art museum, Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. Kim is a great host and we will definitely be back-hopefully in the fall.

Wonderful experience

Our family absolutely loved this rental. We holed up here right after the New Year, and it was absolutely perfect for 6 of us! It was spacious enough for all of us to find our own space, while also being designed in a way that provided plenty of options for us to gather and be together. Everything was easy to operate (like the roaring fireplace, which we loved!), and the kitchen/all the rooms were well stocked with all the creature comforts. We'd gladly stay here again, and hope we have the opportunity to!

Great House for Family Gathering

The house was a perfect location for my family to gather to celebrate Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated for the holiday. Plenty of room to entertain. The kitchen is well equipped for meal preparation and entertaining needs. We had a 10 month old with us so we brought a large playpen which was very helpful to have. It would be difficult to have curious young children in the house with the beautiful holiday decorations. Kim is an excellent host. She promptly responds to any request. Thank you Kim! We hope this house is available to rent in the future.

Son's Wedding at Greenville CC

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is just overwhelmingly spacious and accommodating. Kimberly was fantastic. Beds are comfy. Kitchen is fully stocked. Pantry has basics. Quiet neighborhood. Kind neighbors who saw us playing with our grandson and asked about wedding. If you have an event at Greenville CC, this is the place for you, super close. Thanks, Kimberly!

Really great modernized home with great open space for large groups. In town for local graduation, had friends from graduation visit with plenty of space for everyone. Owner close and active, but never needed. Near golf courses and everything we needed.

Beautiful Property, Amazing Host!

We stayed in Kim’s home for my Daughters graduation from UDel and everything was just perfect. This was by far the cleanest, most comfortable and well appointed property I’ve ever rented. The property has a unique vibe, great history and the neighborhood, town and local restaurants/shops/activities are all great! Kimberly is a very warm and welcoming host…her communication, flexibility and attention to detail truly helped make our celebration memorable. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Gorgeous home

We really enjoyed our stay. I love to cook and have a very nice kitchen but this one was over the top fantastic! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms fully stocked. The space in the living room was great, soaring ceilings and lots of windows.

Excellent experience

Absolutely beautiful house.; equipped with more things than needed. Host was very easy to reach and very sweet . Very spacious, beautifully decorated house. We really enjoyed our stay. Convenient location. Will recommend this place to anyone. Only one suggestion to put florescent tape on steps on entering the house so noone falls and gets injured.

My hobbies include golf, pickleball, listening to live music and traveling. I love the hospitality industry, my family and I owned a hotel on the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach. We sold that about 9 years ago and now I am a host for my beautiful home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My home is located in the heart of Greenville, DE. I absolutely love this area, definitely the most beautiful area in all of Delaware!! The street is quiet, and you feel almost as if you are in the country however your close to everything! The city of Wilmington is just 10 minutes by car. There are several country clubs, golf courses, restaurants, shopping and Philadelphia is just 30 minutes from here. So, the location is absolutely perfect!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

My home is extremely unique. This property was built in 1918 by Eugene Dupont. What is now a house was originally a barn for his Thoroughbred horses. The barn was converted to a home in 1981. I purchased the property in 2016 and completely remodeled the entire place. I kept the barn theme and used reclaimed wood, barn doors, barn lighting etc. The home is extremely spacious, and the open concept really makes it very cozy for large gatherings. I can tell you there is no other home that looks anything like this. The interior is absolutely stunning!
