Amazing views

If you want to wake up to the sound of nature and the beauty of the island, this place is for you. It is slower than Ponta Del Gada which was our preference. A small town feel with a good location to go to different parts of the island

The location of this VRBO was fantastic if you enjoy outside space and water views. If you require quiet, you may be challenged as people hang out of the sea wall directly outside of the unit and may disturb some. The host was great and very responsive. Suggestion for host is to supply basics like oil & vinegar and beach towels. I would stay here again.

Beautiful spot in Azores

I would stay here again, it gets a beautiful view of the water and has so much room - the top floor's balcony was my favorite spot while I was there. The location was also great, you can walk to a couple restaurants and the grocery store is a quick drive/nice walk away.

Peaceful and restorative stay with ocean breeze

This was a lovely place to stay. Being able to hear the ocean and feel the breeze was the best part. The owner was very communicative and helpful on check-in. We appreciated that some basic amenities were provided, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Condo

Herminio is a great host! We loved the location and views from the balcony. You are walking distance to great restaurants. The rental is very clean and well equipped. We hope to return one day!!

Wonderful. Was so close to the o San and beautiful views

The property was perfect. Clean and awesome views. We walked along the shore to a great restaurant and could go to the black sand beaches right outside the property. Lovely. Would go again.

Excellent house and location perfect

Perfect views from lounge and veranda. Clean with good facilities. Great base to reach the whole island. The pictures do not do justice to this great holiday house. Would highly recommend staying here. Good resturants within walking distance.

Terrific townhouse

Super quiet and stunningly located with uninterrupted view to the lagoon and crater, just across the channel. Townhome has three levels with beautiful patio on the upper floor. Perfect for a couple, and Vila Franca do Campo was very central for exploring the whole island.

Super Ferienhaus in top Lage

Accommodation is in top location with everything you need is reachable by food in few minutes. View from all three floors is amazing. Neighbours are really friendly as all people at Azoren. (Also includes guest holder) Booking and communication before and during stay were really easy. Great place to start hikes, go for Scuba Diving or just visit Ilheu de vila Franca do Campo.

Amazing Flat with a Water View

The three-story flat was well equipped. We were greeted by the owner and he was really helpful getting us off to a nice start. The views from the flat were breathe-taking. We had nice easy access to everything within walking distance from Casa Das Dias. We really enjoyed our week long stay in the village. Right on the same road was Bar Gil, he makes great coffee. Very friendly people throughout our stay.

As always a great stay

This was our third time staying in Casa das Dias. The unobstructed view over the ocean is wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a basic coffee machine as well as a Nespresso. Beds are firm, which we like. Lots of stairs in the house, so good for fit people! Herminio is easy to communicate with. There are several grocery stores in walking distance.

Second time stay

We returned because this is an amazing place with a wonderful view of the ocean and the island. The house has everything you need, and is in easy walking distance to a huge grocery store with a bakery. The nearby pottery is lovely and we got the chance to work with clay. The parking up the hill always had spots so we did not have to drive down the narrow street. Highly recommend. Herminio is a helpful and professional host.

An amazing apartment with an outstanding location and view

Casa Dias in Villa Franco do Campo is centrally located on a beautiful island, with no more than an hour’s drive to any destination. We stayed here for 3 weeks. The large windows facing the ocean and islet make it easy to relax in any weather. Casa Dias is spotless, exactly as described, and well equipped with wifi, appliances, laundry and comfortable beds. Parking is usually available on the street, a grocery store is 5 minutes by car, and it’s a 15 minute walk to the marina area for shops and restaurants. Herminio is an excellent host, promptly responding to our questions before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this location. Ed and Kerry Canada

Nice Property with Wonderful View but Steep Stairs

Photos are very accurate and property was clean and well maintained. Would’ve liked to know there are multiple steep metal stairs to get to the kitchen and upper deck. This is not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, property is central to nice restaurants and about a half hour from Ponta Delgado airport. There is a large supermarket at the beginning of town. Neighborhood took some getting used to. Glad my husband was driving! Herminio was very welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful view, simple, clean apartment

Beautiful property, 5 star view. Apartment was clean, nice shower and had basic kitchen. Owner was prompt and thorough with communication. My word of warning is i will say parking is difficult. For drivers accustomed to large wide streets similar to those found in the US, the streets near this house are very narrow and if you park right next to the house you'll find yourself reversing uphill in a narrow street with other cars already parked on the side of the road leaving you very very little room. My advice is to park next to the recycle bins about 2 or 3 roads directly up the hill and walk the 4 min to the apartment rather than trying to park close to the house. parking was the only thing stressful about our stay and by day 2 we had it figured out. Villa franca do campo feels very authentically azorean and you do not feel like you are in a touristy area at all. It feels genuine and simple and authentic for better or worse. Don't expect lots of souvenir shops and lots of fine dining in close proximity, it's not that type of place.
