House was great as it had multiple hanging out rooms so if you wanted to take a break from the kids you easily could! It's a funky house as rooms were added on over the years but the icing on the cake was sitting on the deck looking at the canyon below and view of Mount Sopris. Also, if you want to cook at home there was plenty of dishes, spices, cooking utensils etc. (It would be nice if there was a cabinet for storing our food though, just nit-picking). Could use some tables for drinks in sitting room by kitchen.

10 Minute drive from downtown Glenwood Springs. Amazing view of Mount Sopris from the porch and we spent a fair amount of time there! It was just lovely watching the hummingbirds come to the many feeders! Very quiet which is what we needed. Home was spacious enough for 5 adults and 3 teens who enjoyed the game room and basketball hoop! Lots of places to eat and all bedrooms were very comfortable! Home was clean and very well outfitted for whatever you needed. Communication with host was fantastic! Stairs to upper floor from the front door a bit steep but there are two bedroom spaces right off the front door if one has difficulty with stairs. All in all a lovely home with gorgeous views, comfortable, clean and lots of room for larger family groups. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous Property!

The location is gorgeous, and the property is very homey. My family and I had a very relaxing weekend stay here, and enjoy the caves and hot springs while we were at it. Definitely recommend this property if you want a quiet getaway with breathtaking views of the mountains and sunrise!

Overall a great experience in a beautiful area! The house itself has some funky features, such as really steep stairs, which was a little difficult for the most elderly in our party. But funky features also mean character and charm!

Fashion Show Family Get Away

We booked this rental to be go to the Carbondale Arts Fashion Show, my daughter was one of the designers , so the family visited to support my Daughter, this rental was perfect. Definitely look forward to visiting again.
