Awesome Loft in Southside Flats

My wife and I were in town for a concert and we found this small, two bedroom modern loft! We love the area for its ease of access to bars, restaurants and everything else for the weekend. I had one minor problem with check, which was ALL my fault, and the hosts were very both very friendly and very quick to fix the problem! We have plans to be back a couple times this summer and will definitely look to rent this place again!

Lack of communication m, not exactly as described.

It was listed as a two bathroom but we could not find a second bathroom. We had opened a door and it went to a basement. Not wanting to be nosy, we didn’t go down. The morning of checkout I was reviewing checkout instructions and read again that it was 2 bathroom. So I went down the basement steps and got quite a scare. There was a blow up dummy laying on the floor that looked like a homeless person sleeping on the floor. The room was clearly storage for old linens and stuff. It had the washer and dryer down there as well but I was too scared to go past the dummy! Another one of us ventured to the back where there was indeed a half bath. It was described to me as musty and dirty. The listing also stated it had a coffee maker but we could not find it! There were filters and even some coffee. So I texted the number left for us asking and got no response. It wouldn’t have mattered however, because there were no mugs….and only about 2 drinking glasses. Towels and linens were provided but I’d bring my own towels. These were so small and flimsy and no extras provided. Wifi was not coming up as a choice on our devices. Before the trip I had communicated via app to the owner about handicap parking as I had my disabled parent along with us. The response back but that there was free street parking but he’d have to check on the handicap parking available. I never heard back. What we discovered upon arrival is that right in front of the unit there is NO street parking right there.

South Side Gem

My son & I stayed at this lovely loft on the South Side in Pittsburgh. The location w was perfect, It was a roomy & pretty place. We were delayed checking in so there was a little miscommunication about entry & wifi. Generally, it was a pleasure to stay & the hosts were accommodating.

Apartment in party district needs TLC.

Take away the unclean stove and fridge, the missing ground basket on the coffee maker, having only one bottom sheet and comforter on the beds, uncased bed pillows on the floor, unusable dresser stuffed with dirty sheets, that the 2nd bath had no shower but was not described in the ad (it’s only 1/2 bath) and was in the cellar and filthy, that there is an apartment upstairs from which you hear every step and voice, the host was not quick to respond, and no extra bath towels were provided, the toilet seat was broken and the shower handle fell off, it would be a cool, nice funky place. A little TLC would make a huge difference.

Pictures don’t do it justice

Fantastic place! Everything was very comfortable, clean, and quiet (despite being at the edge of a pretty hopping neighborhood). Ground floor was nice, and being right next to Cafe du Jour was a nice plus, as were the local parks and the walkable neighborhood. I can’t wait to go back!

Cozy spot

This place was exactly how listed. There are 2 bedrooms and a nice sized bathroom. The location was convenient to some amazing restaurants and bars. Lots of police presence so I felt pretty safe in the area. Had some issues with parking and had to pay to park a few times a couple blocks away but it wasn’t to expensive to do so. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed the condo.

Spacious comfortable option in cool street

Needed a place for extended stay snd this 2 BR was a grest option. Owner was really helpful and responsive. Place is huge! Nice comfy living area, plenty of space. Street parking but found spaces within 1 or 2 blocks. Short walk to cool locsl restaurants and bars. Other stores is neighborhood of you need something. Only 10 ton15 min.to Oakland, Shadyside and Squirrel Hill. Great option on South Side

Had a wonderful time. Had plenty of room and had separate spaces for privacy. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops. Easy access to get around the city. Would stay again.

Great location

We were in Pittsburgh to visit family and enjoy Open Streets. The location was perfect. Tons of places to eat and things to do! Plenty of room in the apt for pur bikes so we were able to park our car and ride/walk everywhere!

Just Outstanding!!!! Place and Location

What can I say... This place is awesome.. It's a store style that was converted into a 2 bedroom apartment. Plenty of room inside. The best part that everything was in walking distance... I would stay again and again for the next Steelers game...

Charming Spacious Spot in heart of South Side Flats

We loved spending X-mas week here w/ our 2 small dogs. Ground floor loft on the main drag; walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, public transportation. Short drive to grocery. Excellent beds, extra closet/drawer space, well-appointed kitchenette, nice bathroom with shower, large dining & coffee tables perfect for puzzles, games, feasts. Super clean. Laundry downstairs. No trouble finding street parking around the block. Good wifi. Large TV w/ Netflix, etc. (Couldn't find instruction book for blue tooth sound system, computer etc. but offsite hosts were very responsive & helpful when texted. ) Converted storefront with interesting layout, including one huge open living/dining space, high ceilings, big window seat & unique stylistic touches. Good natural light. Neighborhood (I used to live 2 blocks away) is busy, friendly, safe - a bit noisy on weekend nights - and a great central location if you want to explore Pgh. We stayed in more than we had planned due to extreme weather and were cozy & happy.

Good Location

Leak in bathroom ceiling, left message, no response from host. Sleeper couch is broke. There is limited parking in the neighborhood. Overall location is very convenient for dining and attendance to Steeler's game.

Wonderful 4 day weekend in South Pittsburgh!!!

Flew up for the pirates cardinals baseball game on Friday. Went to the Tennessee Pitt football game on Saturday (Go Big Orange). Toured around the area and rested on Sunday. Flew home Monday. Absolutely wonderful 4 day weekend. Check in is was a breeze and even got a couple hour late checkout. The host was wonderful and we shall return!!!

Came for a wedding, stayed for the weekend and sights

I want a place near the things to do. We drove the wedding, but after wanted to enjoy the city. What a great home-based for us. The property was excellently what was advertised. The two rooms were very comfortable. Nice shower. Food of all kinds were in walking distance. The restaurants were fantastic. We went to the Phipps botanical garden (the cafe on-site was great), Andy Warhol museum, hung out near University of Pennsylvania (enjoying the architecture), then the Incline train @ Mt Washington (beautiful at night).
