We had a great time in London staying in this basement level apartment. The apt is on a busy street however in the inner two bed rooms we slept well and enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning.
Unfortunately, the apt was not very well equipped; not enough kitchenware (we had to go out and buy forks). There is a nice outdoor patio however it had not been cleaned for a long time. It was full of autumn leaves and cigarette butts. Inside the walls and carpets were heavily stained and dirty. A really good cleaning and some paint would do a great deal to this apt. We suggest the owner to visit and try to see the apt from the guest's point of view.
We accept that the levels of renting cost in central London is high and in relation to this we value this apt as an acceptable alternative. We would however not book this apt again.
Really busy, dirty street, apt very dusty, not like pictures.
The apartment is on an extremely busy street. All buildings are covered with soot from diesel vehicles. The apartment itself has very dry heat and was very dusty. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very tiny. Pictures donât accurately represent the property. Check in was a nightmare. Owner has not advised property manager that I had booked the dates. Very disappointing.
We loved hanging in our London flat on our recent trip. The location made you feel like a true Londoner and was well positioned with the Earls Court train station. The owner was very responsive and helped lead us to the washing machine switch on the wall in no time! Would definitely go back to this wonderful space.
This was our first time visiting London and we were a little unsure of the distance to the main sites to see. To our suprise we couldn't have been happier with our selection. Earls Court tube station was an easy 5 min walk. The town of Earls Court is amazing, the restaurants were great, the people were very friendly and we felt safe walking at any time of the day. Unfotuantley in the afternoon of March 22 a terrorist attack took place at Westminster bridge as we were walking around in the area. We were on the tube heading to Kenisgton and the first thing we wanted to do was get back by cab to Earls Court and the safety of the flat. When we return to London this will certainly be our first choice of places to stay.
Thank you so much for the hospitality.
