This was my 4th stay here and I love it! Clean, quiet, cozy and a convenient location. I look forward to more stays in the future. Thank you for being there!
I arrived to a cleared walk way after a snow storm. I found the place cozy & warm, spotless and quiet for my visit to NE. Portland. It was close to my Grandsonâs family which has made it my new go to place for visits. Thank you Jean for your hospitality.
This was my third stay here and I just love how clean and quiet it is. It has everything I need for my stay and a very comfortable bed! It is in the perfect location for visiting my 99 year old mother at The Courtyard Mt. Tabor. Thank you so much!
This was my second time staying here and it is perfect for me. It is very clean, quiet and has everything you need during your stay. It is only minutes from my family so very convenient. I will definitely stay here again on future visits!
This place was spotless and well maintained. Has everything one needs including a really comfortable bed. Relatively easy to find and no problem parking right in front.
This place was great. It was perfect for one person and would also work well for two.
Lovely location, easy access, had everything I could have needed, very clean, good wifi, host was communicative and allowed me to check in early when my plans changed.
Really loved my stay here!
We visited Portland to see the PNW waterfalls and hike Oregon coast. This location was great for easy access to the waterfalls. Good communication with host with fast response when needed. Enjoyed our stay!
Fabulous property they thought of everything! Very clean, adorable decorations and furniture trendy and current. Safe neighborhood quiet and cozy, will definitely come again.
We enjoyed our stay in this gas house. It was conveniently located, there was always a parking space for us in front of the property, and the check in/check out process was very easy. The owner also communicated well with us.
I stayed here with my dog for a week so I could visit my 97 year old mother who lives in the area. This little bungalow was perfect! Very quiet, very clean and very easy to get to. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. I hope to stay here again for future visits. Thank you for providing such a quaint little place!
Property was very clean and comfortable and the perfect size for the two of us. Very well equipped-loved having the washer and dryer. Jean responded very promptly to the few questions we had. It was close to our son and his family and in a great neighborhood. We walked around several times during our week long stay. Weâve already booked two additional stays for later this year!
We stayed 5 nights at this property which is in a lovely, very walkable part of Portland. It was our 3rd stay-one of our children and his family live close by. The house is the perfect size for two people with lots more room than a regular hotel room. More than adequately supplied with kitchen items. The washer/dryer are so helpful to have. Bed is very comfortable. Walkable to several good places to eat including Tabor Tavern and New Deal Cafe. We really like everything about the house.

Nothing needed improvement. A+
We really enjoy staying in this ADU. This was our second stay and have already booked a third. Itâs close to our son and his family, itâs nicely furnished and very comfortable. Well supplied and we love having the washer dryer. My favorite thing this trip was the lilac bush on the path to the house that was in full bloom. Lilacs hadnât bloomed at home when we left. I stopped to smell it every time I went in or out.
This small home had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked a full meal here and all kitchen tools, cookware, and dish ware were available in the well equipped kitchen. The home itself is clean and beautiful and feels more spacious than its square footage, with its high ceilings and uncluttered decor. And the host, Jean, is very helpful and hospitable. Would definitely recommend this stay if you are going to be in the area.
Property is so charming and private, tucked away behind the main house. Clean, light and airy and tastefully decorated. Bathroom and shower was beautiful with the convienence of a washer and dryer at your disposal. Location was great with easy access to quaint neighborhoods, parks, food carts, bars, restaurants and driving distance to much of Oregon's beautiful scenery and mountains. Property owner was accessible and quick to respond!! Would definitely stay here again!!
This the perfect urban hideaway retreat. Impeccably furnished, Jean takes every detail into account and provides a hospitable cozy cottage right in the heart of Portland. Location is ideal. Close to downtown, restaurants and the freeway. Iâve stayed in many vacation rentals and this ranks very high in the list. Very comfy bed, A/C and even Netflix. Jean is a perfect hostess who will check in on you or be completely invisible - depending on your preference. If Portland is your destination, stay here.
I would recommend this new and wonderfully comfortable dwelling to any single person or couple, perhaps even a couple with a baby. Everything sparkles and not one detail has been overlooked! We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. Itâs super convenient to the MAX line (which we took downtown and to the airport) and there are numerous grocery stores as well other things to do within walking distance. We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend and it was the location (near our former neighborhood) that made it ultra convenient for us, but I would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Portland. Jean is a wonderful host and she was very easy to communicate with. I do not hesitate to give this spot 5 big stars!
This was the perfect place to stay in NE Portland. It is very convenient to major roads. The street is part of a greenway for use by bicyclists, walkers and cars -- 20 mph speed limit. We were able to fix marinara sauce and meatballs to take to our daughter's for a dinner. This means the kitchen, utensils, etc. was just what we needed. We had a lot of luggage and gear for hiking -- so the walk from the street was a little long, but not really a problem. We liked the openness and the skylights. It was Fall and there was a maple turning red over one skylight. We are already planning our return trip and will stay again.
Jean's place was just what we needed when my husband had surgery at Portland Providence, and I wanted to bring our senior dog. The location was very close to the hospital and was walkable. I ended up driving, since there was no difficulty parking on the street, right in front no matter what time of day I was coming back from the hospital. There was a nice park a block and a half away for walking the dog. The neighborhood was nice, and the people I met walking were friendly. The place itself was beautifully designed. It is screened from the main house, and has plantings to see out the window, or sit among if you use the table and chairs outside. Inside the space is attractive, and uncluttered. There are hooks for jackets and trays for wet shoes. The couch and chairs are comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The bed is comfortable and has nice linens. There are two suitcase holders and plenty of closet space. The shower was great after a day running. Many lights are dimmable and windows and skylights are planned for both light and privacy. Everything was clean and modern. Our hostess was helpful and kind with our unsettled arrangements before and during our visit. She left numbers to call if we needed anything. The booklet in the apartment answered all our operating questions. Perfect!
